Would give 0 for "Terrible" if possible. In a short consultation Niki told me she had more experience & ability than any of her colorists to help me go from colored hair to my natural salt & pepper color. To prepare for this I didn't color for three months to give a colorist plenty of newly grown in salt & pepper roots. Yeah, it looked bad! After showing her pictures of the result I desired, she assured me of her experienced background in doing this for three other clients. Said she would throw in a free $53.00 haircut to the total price of $500. (I gave her a $100. tip in addition for a total of $600.00. My bad.) 1st All day APPOINTMENT: Niki had a first day new-hire there to help her with my hair to save time. The helper gave me back and gray zebra stripes while Niki colored the back 1/2 of my hair an ugly brown that caused her to immediately ask me to come back in 2 days to correct. I lost confidence in her abilities & didn't appreciate being the guinea pig for a new-hire trial. 2nd All day APPOINTMENT: Niki consulted with another colorist at the salon & experimented with colors. At the end of the day I was left totally blonde--a color I very much disliked but tried to be positive about. She then let an insult slip out by saying "before, your hair looked like crap", as if that made everything okay. It didn't. And, it was unkind. She assured me that at the next color (toning) appt. the color would would be toned down to the salt & pepper colors I wanted in the first place. 3rd All day APPOINTMENT: She again consulted with another colorist at the salon & experimented with colors. She made excuse after excuse about her inability to fulfill her original promises to me. After she worked for a very long time on my hair trying different colors, I ended up really liking the result! It was short lived. After the first shampoo about a week later, all the new colors were washed out and I was a blonde again! Seems to me the toner or color must have been diluted or mixed wrong to wash out so quickly. Again I was disappointed in her abilities. I texted her pictures of my washed out hair after the 3rd appt. Crickets. A couple of weeks later when I was in Idaho Falls I dropped by the salon to show her in person my washed out hair color. I was told she was gone. She never contacted me back. I could tell that she wasn't willing and didn't know how to fix what she'd botched. Two months later we met in person. She again insulted me saying my hair looked like crap before she colored it, and that I was "stalking" her, (how ludicrous!), and that she wasn't going to do one more thing to my hair without $120.00 for another color toning appointment. That was audacious to me considering she had been incapable of ever delivering the desired results for me, not to mention hours upon hours of my wasted time during 3 long appointments. Summary: *Niki wasn't truthful to me about her abilities in our original consultation. Had she just told me she wasn't experienced enough to do something so complicated, I would have appreciated that and gone elsewhere. However, I believe the thought of one quick $600.00 day appealed to her. *She insulted me twice, which was inappropriate and unprofessional. *She enlisted the help of an even-more inexperienced brand-new employee to my detriment. *After finally tracking down a copy of my itemized receipt of services after 4 months, I saw that she had actually charged me $53.00 for my "free" haircut. I hope this might be helpful to someone else. As for me, the Salon h. Davis experience was a nightmare. read more

Soooo good. Hailey is absolutely incredible at what she does!! The whole salon is beautiful and clean, and everyone is very professional and so kind and helpful. I was a little nervous when I first went in to color my hair because I'd never been to a salon before, but the staff immediately puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable. The amazing stylists as Salon H Davis saved me from a wedding catastrophe! Only weeks before my wedding I received a brief email from the stylist I originally hired to do hair and makeup at my wedding stating that she had quit the profession and would not be able to provide the services I had contracted and paid a deposit for. Thankfully my mother found and contracted Salon H Davis to know. They responded promptly and were able to fit me in for a hair trial without a few days. They graciously rearranged their schedules to accommodate mine and on meeting Liz, the stylist who did my hair, she immediately put me at ease. She spent quite a bit of time going through the ideas that I have pulled up and asked me what it was I like about each one so she could really pinned down the look I was going for. And she nailed it! She took several photos at the end of the trial and we talked through how we would fine tune it on the day of the wedding! And on the day of, she and her associate, Hailey, arrived promptly at the venue with everything they needed for the day. They were well prepared, extremely professional, worked in a timely fashion, and ensured that my bridesmaids were happy with their hair results! Most importantly, they allowed me to relax, and actually enjoy my big day (instead of stressing about it) and could spend time hanging out with my best girls as we chatted and caught up on life! Of note, they were affordable, willing to travel up to a certain distance and they were also able to set me up with a makeup artist who was also exceptional, Jaime Shippen! read more

Great place to get your haircut. Offer water, beer or wine if your thirsty. Cameron does a great job and on Thursdays men get cuts for 15 bucks. Great deal. The rest of the staff is very friendly. The also give you a warning call one day early. Give these folks your business. read more
