Swollen & bleeding cuticles on my thumb and index finger. My middle finger on the other hand is also still bleeding.

I wanted to like this salon... They had me seated quickly with a complimentary bottle of water! But the older man who did my acrylic fill destroyed my nails. He burned almost every finger with the drill and cut 3 of my fingers badly enough that he continuously had to pause to wipe my blood off my hands and the tools. I really wish I would've had him stop without finishing and left. Communication was very limited and awkward. He would look at them and say over & over- "sorry... it okay." And I had no idea how to respond because it was definitely not okay! Hands down the most horrible experience I've ever had in any salon and I've been getting acrylic nails done for almost 9 years. Picture is my nails still visibly swollen & cut 2 days after my service with Ocean Nails.

1 week out and sores are healing.

Staff were very rude. I told the lady "ow" and she continued to pick at my toe until it bled. I told her to stop, sternly. My cuticles were picked so much on my hand that I have sores and they need filled already, it's been a week today. I will never go back. I was over charged for my moms manicure, and we were there for 1.5-2 hours....just ridiculous.

they did not do a pedicure correctly. didn't wear gloves. they also cut both my sisters feet. she went this morning and already had an infection in her toe. not only did they cut her but when they cut her the first time didn't even bother sanitizing the tools and just switched feet. mind all this happened with no freaking gloves on.

I love this place been going here for years. You get the best value for the price. The best time to come is sunday morning. They open at 11. The worst time is around lunch time during the week. They get fairly busy and have an hr wait.

I was taken on a walk in, which was really nice because I had called around and stopped at several places that we're booked, or that only had 1 or 2 employees working. This place had 6 employees working! A male worker gave me a great pedi. Paid like $30 for scrub, massage, and a leg mud wrap. Their furniture is a little old (cracking vinyl).. but they worked well... Great find!

Did a good job and got 3 of us right in with no appointment. The inside decor was not so great but that is a minor comment.

Since my last visit they had changed things around. Instead of a calm darkened room, we were placed in a very well lit room. The door was left open so we could see people looking in as they walked by. The chairs were ok but not extremely comfortable (no recline or massage options). They used a pedicure bowl instead of having a foot tub like other places I had been. The ambiance was definitely lacking and not the relaxing experience I had hoped for. The lady that did my pedicure was rough on my feet. When she as using the sugar scrub and some of the other products I could see my feet turning red. My friend seemed to enjoy her pedicure more than I did so it might have just been my luck. Overall I would say try somewhere else. There are better options in the area.

I cannot rave enough about Cassie and her amazing work. I beyond love my permanent makeup and will continue going to her for any of my permanent makeup needs. The ambiance was very beautiful when i came in. Very serene and calming. Staff was great. When we went to the back portion and into a single room, id say it was kinda blah. They did turn it up a bit but i dono, something wasnt so cozy. David did a great job on my massage. I was kind of bummed because of the lack of smell and i aslo didnt get any warm towels like i did at another place the week before however it was 10 bucks cheaper so there is that too. Listen up. Ahhhsome…read moreRelaxation is an absolutely stunning secret garden. I took my husband there on a surprise date last night and I was blown away by how extensively creative this entire place is. Every single square foot within is filled with so much intent to be a calming, sacred and rejuvenating area. The building is filled with lights that just make you so happy, and the walls are draped from top to bottom in ivy and greenery. It feels like a maze that you don't want to find your way out of! I loved that through certain areas of it, everyone whispers. The people there respect each others need of coming to have their lamps filled back up and how often is it that you go to a public place where complete strangers have that respect for others!? It's unheard of! Now let's talk about the experience itself- You come in and clean your hands and feet and they allow you to use antibacterial essential oils to get you in the mindset of intentional relaxation (I appreciated that it also provides peace of mind knowing that each person who enters isn't making the machines germy!) You're able to take a mantra from a jar to uplift and encourage you if you'd like a little boost when you're having a hard day. You begin walking through the secret garden and you're able to choose the machines you'd like to use. I was amazed by the massive variety of equipment they have! They are so good to educate you while you are there about the equipment and it's healing and relaxing properties. Many of the machines are foreign to us in the US, and gosh we've sure been missing out. Places like Japan and Germany have been using this machinery to help people de-stress and heal while going through things like chemo and these machines have incredible abilities to help restore the structural makeup of our cells to help our respiratory, urinary, circulatory, immune, muscular, digestive & nervous systems and even our skin! Who doesn't need to be healthier in all of those areas?!? Every machine there is so intentional, and the knowledge behind the desire to have the specific equipment they have is genius. THERE ARE SMART PEOPLE WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES HERE, PEOPLE! I had two favorite machines. All of them have proper names but while I was there I renamed my favorites. My hands down top favorite machine is the Butterfly Cocoon Warmer. You lay in something that looks like a tanning bed while a device that supports your ankles. The top portion is laced with infrared heat lamps, which is the type of heat humans need to survive. This is the kind of heat you receive when snuggling next to another warm body. As you lay there, the machine envelops you in a heated cocoon. You feel so warm from head to toe. Speaking of toes! They are very busy in this machine! The device supporting your ankles is working on gradually realigning you from head to toe with a back and forth swaying motion that makes your feet looks like fish tails flopping to and from. It's actually a super relaxing movement! My husband was in a cocoon across from me and I told him he was going to have to go home without me because I wasn't leaving this Butterfly Warmer! My husband loved every minute of it and actually fell asleep for the last few minutes of his session and was OUT. Try the butterfly cocoon warmer! Seriously. My other favorite was a rocking massage chair that felt like I was on the ocean in a little boat. But it gets better. While you are rocking your entire body is being massaged. So it feels like you're rocking on the waves in the ocean with angelic dolphins around you massaging your body as their guest. Can you even imagine?!?! Try the dolphin machine! And don't even get me started on the people running the floor and the owners in charge of this sanctuary. Just trust me when I say you won't want to leave. I wanted to hug each of them when I left and in a matter of minutes I felt like these complete strangers became dear friends! You'll CRAVE being around them with their high, but calming energy and the passion they have to truly leave people better than they came. I have to agree with how fitting this name is. There truly is no better way to describe this experience other than AWESOME with three, relaxing ah's. While I was there I just kept thinking, you can't help but just want every person you've ever loved to come and experience this sacred, rejuvenating get-away experience. We need more places like this in the world, so do yourself a favor and go support this business who is absolutely doing it right. Seriously.

I joined Ahhhsome Relaxation years ago because it was marketed as an unassisted, peaceful sanctuary…read morewhere members could quietly move between therapies at their own pace. Unfortunately, that is no longer the experience I received. The atmosphere has changed dramatically. Instead of feeling relaxed and welcomed, I experienced confrontation, inconsistency, and what I felt was a lack of compassion and customer service. Also, if someone asks you to stop hovering and touching them, you'd think they would comply. However, he (the owner) did not. As someone whose health is rapidly declining, these therapies have been more important to me than ever. Because of my medical limitations, I rely on friends and family to help me get there so I purchased punch cards for this reason. It was my understanding that reasonable accommodations would be made when assistance was genuinely needed. Instead, my guests were restricted to three 15-minute therapies, and they were escorted out before I was even informed. That effectively limited my ability to use the "unlimited" membership I was paying for. Rather than working toward a solution, management became defensive and chose to cancel my membership. I'm saddened because the peaceful vision that Alice originally created appears to have been replaced by an environment that no longer reflects the sanctuary it once was. I cannot recommend a business where empathy, communication, and customer care have been overshadowed by rigid policies and poor treatment of loyal members.
