First off, they are apparently a long-standing salon but recently opened up with a new, sleek modern look. When I called to make the appointment, they were quick to answer and it was very easy to schedule. I went for a basic women's haircut which was $75. Lilian was friendly and clearly cared about doing a great job, listening to how I was wanting the hair to be cut. Going from longer hair to a shoulder length cut along with a shampoo and dry all took just under an hour. I am definitely interested in coming back! I am so impressed with Rania's work! I was recommended to see her by Jude who cuts my hair, but I was sold on the idea when I saw her portfolio on IG. I knew she would be able to safely lift my hair from its dark dark to as close to platinum as we could get. I had to schedule a consult before scheduling my session and it was honestly necessary to make sure we were on the same page about what I wanted, and to make sure I booked the right service. Rania was SO knowledgeable, and informative. She asked me questions i didn't think to ask, to make sure everything went smoothly and that she understood what I wanted. I never felt rushed, and I felt I had her undivided attention. The day of the service felt like such a pampering day, from the gown, to the snacks they had, to the head massage I got while she washed my hair. She was attentive and I truly felt like she loved what she was doing. It was such a fun day! I highly recommend Rania for any of your color needs! It takes a lot to win my trust since my hair is dark, and long and curly, but I will be going back to Rania without a shadow of a doubt.

I couldn't even get an appointment successfully booked. Unfortunately, the communication and…read moreoverall experience were so frustrating that I ultimately decided I wasn't comfortable booking a treatment with a business that couldn't clearly confirm the specific dates and times I was requesting. UPDATE: 8/09/2026 -- In response to the owner's comment: Your response makes it clear that you did not fully understand my original review, which unfortunately reflects the same communication issue I experienced while trying to book an appointment. I went back and forth attempting to schedule for weeks and tried to book on three separate occasions. When I finally called and someone answered, there was a significant communication barrier, and the call ultimately ended with the person hanging up on me. You're correct that I've never received a service at your salon--but that is precisely the point of my review. I repeatedly tried to become a customer and was unable to successfully book an appointment. My review is about the customer service and booking experience I personally received. If your salon is so heavily booked that you are unable to accommodate new clients, I completely understand. However, potential clients should simply be told that upfront rather than spending weeks attempting to schedule an appointment that is never confirmed. Professionalism begins before a customer ever walks through the door, and unfortunately, my experience trying to become a client was enough for me to decide to take my business elsewhere.

My hair is both fine and thin, and I have a weirdly shaped head, and he gave me such a wonderful cut that is exactly what I wanted. He could've closed up shop much earlier, but he stuck it out with me from 2:30-8 pm! She knew me so well and of course always had my hair on point. Moving to Texas, I was so nervous about one of my investments that I never had to worry about before. I had to really take the time and research who seemed like a good fit for me and the look I tend to stay with. I was able to find Hintz of Color. I booked my appointment, and I am not going to lie, I was nervous as heck! I like her booking system, so easy to use. Deposit was put for my appointment. For those of you who complain about that, let me just say...appointments are their lively hood, their business, the feeding of their families. If you no show or cancel last minute, the stylist could of had someone else in that spot, potentially losing 100's of $$ at no fault of theirs. So, be courteous and respect this.
