It's taken time and various treatments, but I find the practitioners here are up to date on the latest treatments, and willing to change strategy when the desired results are not achieved. I've seen other dermatologists before, and not all of them will talk to you about how to properly apply your skincare and sunscreen, and which products you use. While they have a small boutique where you can buy products, I don't feel pushy sales techniques, and instead will recommend custom solutions.

Took him literally 5 minutes. I will literally never be back. If they are the last place I will youtube, google and chatgpt it and do it myself or have someone that I can instruct how to do it. I almost did that in the first damn place. Thanks for almost being better than having no access to medical care. I mean, if a guy was holding a gun to your head and saying "i am going to kill you" over and over again that would be torture. Being in a position of what is supposed to be a respected place of authority, dicking you around on whether you have cancer, you pay 200$ a visit regardless of whether anything besides getting you dicked around gets accomplished. Apparently according to Mengellee if you want it done right, you have to let your doctor walk in, look them straight in the eye, and tell them "I am not like these other fucking clowns you have here, I am here for important reasons, so don't fuck me around like some kind of asshole"

He and his staff are amazing, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. It's been simply life changing -- I feel like myself again! I saw one reviewer who felt they received/encountered a lack of compassion/bedside manner; however, this has not been my experience at all. They've been kind, patient, and understanding (and I have a very low tolerance for pain, not to mention a lot of anxiety when it comes to needles and procedures). I know his office is busy, and as a result, things are run like a well oiled machine, but Dr. Pryor and his staff have always taken the time to listen to and address any and all concerns; even if I feel like I'm being a bit of a "worry wart". The morning of my procedure, I was having a considerable anxiety attack, but they couldn't have taken better care of me. Even if I were ever to have felt there wasn't enough "hand holding" (which has not been the case), Dr. Pryor's skill and the end result would have more than made up for it. Bottom line: I would recommend Dr. Pryor to any of my family and friends, and would go back to him without hesitation.

I am still undergoing laser treatments to reduce bulging, lumps, and scar tissue from the ordeal. I have walked around with the shame of this procedure on my neck/face for years now. Other medical professionals in Rockford, including my GP and a RN, have shared that they have heard horror stories about him. Do not go to him. Also, he made me sign a contract as they were wheeling me into surgery. It said that I would never post any negative review anywhere about him. Since he is not longer practicing in Rockford, I now feel safe to speak out. The new doctors that have taken over at his clinic are both very good.

I've had Jackie before but my most recent trip I had noemi - both were great and really listened to what I needed/want regarding pain points and pressure. I also love coming here because of their spa area. Once you check into your appt. you get a robe and slippers and a key for your own locker. Then they walk you back to where they have the bathrooms, showers, steam room, area to do your hair/makeup and then there's another door to the sanctuary area where you wait for your appt on their comfy couches w/fireplace. Not only am I getting a massage but I can also spend time in the steam room and relax and really feel like I am getting my money's worth! I cannot recommend this place enough!!

However, she insisted on lightening my hair further, claiming that toner alone would turn it green. When I tried to clarify what I wanted, she shut me down, saying, "Don't tell me how to do my job." Initially, I thought she was joking, but given how she treated me afterward, I realized she likely wasn't. The next morning, I woke up unable to brush my hair properly. I felt stiff, tangled chunks in the back of my head and immediately called the salon for help. The receptionist booked me an 11:30 AM slot, and I asked to speak with Marita to let her know I was coming (assuming we were still on good terms). Instead, she rudely dismissed me, accused me of wanting a free service, and told me to "just wash it off." I then spoke to another manager, Christina, hoping for better customer service. Unfortunately, she also shut me down, refused to let me come in that day, and told me I'd have to prepay for a future appointment just to be seen. I ended up having to go to another salon, where the stylists confirmed bleach had been left in my hair, causing significant damage and breakage. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters. Instead of taking responsibility, Marita and Christina ignored my concerns and refused to help--leaving me with severely damaged hair. If you value your hair and good customer service, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Photos and screenshots will be posted to comments They had me sign a form agreeing that they couldn't guarantee the color would come out exactly as I requested. When colleen reached out to me this week after this whole incident, she also dismissed my concerns and lead with what I signed even after I explained the color was not the problem, the bleach was. And then stopped responding

True Laser is one of the few places in Madison that offers true LASER hair reduction, because there…read moreare many places in Madison that claim to offer laser but really they do IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) which is less effective. The prices are very reasonable and through the research I've done they are the best in the area with the best technology. Personally, their services work well for me. I don't have to remove hair in the areas that have been treated--some fine hairs left, but not enough to be significant. I have gone there for quite some time because I've added more areas to be added for removing hair. However, as I've gone back more frequently, I have become disappointed with some aspects of their services. re: Clarity about their services. I wanted bikini line removal. Every tech seemed to quibble about how much would be "bikini line" removal would be. For example, I had about two hairs a little lower and some would quibble "oh, that's not within 2 inches". it's TWO HAIRS and I bought an entire package. Some told me "Our policy is 2 inches in for the bikini line" but excuse me for not using a ruler to measure my bikini line--and if they are really that picky about this, the first time you come in for a treatment, they shoudl take a ruler, measure 2 inches, and show you exactly how much hair they will remove. Also, at my last visit, they did something that turned me off. I got a bikini line hair removal touchup, and at my previous visits, they always gave me aloe vera to apply after the visit. This time they applied hyrocortisone cream, which is OK, but they gave me an ice pack to put on the area for a few minutes which was inside a folded paper towel. The ice pack was clearly not to take home but used by other clients. THat means they are giving you an ice pack covered with paper towel that has been near other people's crotches. No thanks. I'd go back here again because of the superior laser technology they have there but other parts are turnoffs.

This is a great place to go to get some "me" time in for yourself in a hurry. I've had the laser…read moretreatment done once as a trial and have decided that it's well worth the cost, however.... it's just not a necessity. I have no problem shaving my armpits. =) I've also had the microdermabrasion done. I must say, I wasn't impressed. Basically, its "exfoliation with a vacuum". No thanks! I'd rather scrub my face at home. I had a chemical peel done and thoroughly enjoyed it, although it only lasted a mere 10 minutes. This truly cannot be classified as a spa. When I think of spa, I think "ooh, time for relaxation". At True Laser, it's more like get in and get out! Before you know it you're on your way back home thinking... "did I have my facial yet today?" All in all, I recommend True Laser if you are getting the laser hair removal treatment done, it does work and it IS worth the money, if you have it. I only had one treatment done on my underarms and after three weeks, I've noticed that my hair seems to grow in less coarse and finer. It's much easier to shave and I don't have to shave as often. I'm left to assume that with two more treatments, I wouldn't have to shave my underarms ever again....
