I like the ideas of having your own personal kits just because nail files and buffers are non porous so it cannot be cleaned. Those essentials item use only on yourself no one else plus you can take that kits anywhere else it your. At Luxe salon porous equipment they do disinfect and sanitize but non porous they cannot. If you don't care about your health then go elsewhere that used the same files, buffers, pumice stone on everyone. Stop complaining! If you don't want to buy one then bring your own or take your complaining ass to somewhere else. That's how they run their business plus they tell you up front no hidden info. Overall I'm very satisfied with my service and they always taking their time not rushing to get to another customer. When I complained another lady aggressively grabbed my hand, and started filing as if she was angry at me. Kim B took wonderful care of me, was very careful and checked on me often to make sure I wasn't in too much pain. I'm more reserved so I was happy with a manicure in quiet but others clearly had great relationships with their techs and gossiped away, so the place suits all personalities. I showed her nail designs I liked and she did both without any complaints or hesitation. The first time you go they require you to buy your own nail kit that has your own files, buffers, pedicure stone, etc. that is $7. I am a former nail technician and had nothing but nice things to say until one visit- I had forgotten about my appointment. It was a simple mistake and was totally on me, I called within 20 minutes of missing the appointment, reschedule and apologized, I was already so embarrassed but I am human and I had been there! When I got to the salon for my rescheduled appointment, I was almost done with my nails and the sister of the owner walked in, looked at me and said "you weren't here last time and need to make sure you come in on time or reschedule" very rudely in front of everyone. Every customer in there was staring at me but I had no words. I was horrified, she acted like her calling me out was a big win for her also. I tipped extra, apologized again and never went back. Having a customer not come in after a scheduled appointment is upsetting, but I didn't no call, no show them and I would never speak to a customer like that. What more could I have done? Not good business and extremely rude. Outside of that experience my nails were always perfect, but not worth it if the staff is rude. read more

First time at Luxe Excellent Pedicure everyone was very friendly and talked to you. It was very busy when I went and still everyone was very claim and professional. Everything was clean the staff took there time to thoroughly clean the pedicure basin there was absolutely no chemical smell or polish smell . My girlfriend and I had scheduled appointments together today at noon, for pedicures. We arrived a few minutes before and they only had one client they just seated. We were told to pick a color and sit at the stations. My friends pedicurist started her right away. She yelled back to someone to come and start me. A girl came out and applied a wrap to start the removal process for my gel on my toenails. She left and I didn't see her again for awhile. I kept watching my friends process move right along. She had the same gel nails, I had. She finally asked her lady if my person was going to come back and start me. She just said, "yeah" 18 minutes later, my lady came back and started me. By then, my friend was almost done! Needless to say, I wasn't to happy! When I went up to pay, I left A smaller than normal tip. I told my girl that I felt badly but In all fairness, She should understand that when We make an appointment, it's because we consider our time limited. If something is making them run behind (It happens) they should have the common courtesy to come out and offer an explanation as to why their services are running behind. I don't care if they're in the back room eating lunch. Just let me know that you need a few minutes, I don't have a problem with everyday snags. Just don't leave me hang there wondering if they've forgotten about me. Instead of being understanding as to what I was trying to express to them, the best English speaking lady got defensive, she made excuses, said my pedicure was a deluxe and took longer than my friends. Seriously? So, I paid more to sit and wait for no services? Then when I called that as just wrong, she said she had to start my friend quicker because she had an appointment coming in after her. My reply was, So, you started her on her appointment on time so you could stay on schedule? Isn't that normal? She basically said, the way you come at me isn't right! I said, I'm trying to give you constructive feedback so your business can improve your customer service. If you don't have good customer service, it doesn't matter how nice the shops is! Moral of the story. They have no business sense! Lovely shop! Decent pedi, don't expect much more ‍No way were they going to offer an apology for making you sit for so long. Worst set of nails I have ever had! I made an appointment for myself and my daughter to both get acrylic tips with SNS. Mine were thick and wavy with big humps. The technician noticed a bare spot after the color dip and tried to fix it with a gel coat. Needless to say, this one peeled off the following day. the Others began to crack and peel after only 1 week. I don't know the Trchnician's name, but she was blond. The owner did my daughter's nails and they looked much better and lasted for weeks until we removed them. read more

Have been going there for a while, I must say I'll never go in again I always call four days prior to my appointment which is always on Friday mornings at 10am, for some reason today when I walked in at 9:57am there were already two ladies getting pedicures, special treatment maybe? I mean they were done with the pedicures practically when I walked in, also what's the point of having an appointment? I came on time and still had to wait 40 minutes before they even started to soak off my previous nails, the nail shape and length wasn't what I asked for, the overall design was just sloppy. I'll never go back again. Also, I understand that some designs are difficult but they need to let people know if they can't do something rather than "try their best", also was asked why I didn't tip, I had to quickly exit before something south would happen, the work was evidently clear is was NOT good. I also know after 40 mins I should have left but on a Friday morning before work, Would be impossible to go somewhere else on short notice. Cathleen and Lena two of the nail techs were also sitting there talking about a specific customer in front of other customers, I highly recommend not going to this salon if you truly are a nail girl, I can't stand to look at these for more than three days and will have to go and get a new set. I came here to get a simple acrylic set with my mom. My mom's nails turned out great. My nails weren't bad, but for the work that was done on me, I felt that it was over priced. Both sets were $50. Even though we asked for basic acrylic, we got dip powder nails. Neither of us could really understand what our nail techs were saying on the rare occasion they would speak to us during the appointment, and they kept talking to each other in their own language.
