So, they did great work or so I thought at first. They did a great mani pedi it seemed for me and my wife but, after we left my wife's nail polish came off her finger nails within an hour and a couple of days later I got 2 ingrown toe nails. One of them was slightly infected and the other is majorly infected. Also, I had an infection in one of my finger nails. Don't ever go to this place they are horrible and it's a rip off. They do decent work, and the vibe is friendly, as long as you don't mind the mindless game shows constantly playing on the oversized television (to be fair, the volume is kept low). It can get a bit crowded - popular place, probably because there are few if any other nail salons nearby. Lots of yakking in a foreign language among the nail techs. The place also seems a little pricier than others I've been to. After a couple of years, I finally stopped going because my nail tech quit listening and started doing things her own way. Ive been to this Nail Salon a few times before, had no problems then. however on this occasion I wasn't well received or treated respectfully. They made me feel very uncomfortable my entire time there, and the lady who was doing my pedicure was handing me as if she really didn't want to, she was rushing and kept looking at the door as if she was expecting another client and was trying to get me out of the way. Id had enough, I stopped her in the middle and told her I wasn't pleased with her service or how they were treating me. I'm a Black Man, and we ( African Americans) spend a lot of money in these Asian owned Nail Salons, but I see that they will receive our money, but they really don't like or respect Black Americans. they talk about us in our language and act like they're doing us a favor. This place has the biggest selection of special effect nail polish (holographic, magnetic, metallic, etc.) I've ever seen in person! They do a great job here, and I will be back when I need gel or dip manicure. They do get busy, so make an appointment rather than walk in. They also have a more limited selection of non-gel polish, so you might bring your own favorite polish if you have a specific color for your manicure/pedicure in mind. read more

Pedicure nail polish is very streaky, and poorly done. Also I kept getting asked over and over about doing gel polish when I had already declined the first time. Everytime I would get asked I would say no again, and the woman doing my nails would repeat what I said... her coworker laughed. very uncomfortable, unwelcoming and unprofessional environment for a new customer. I do not live in this area but as my friends and I were traveling through we decided to get our nails done. We called ahead to make an appointment for 3 manicures and 2 pedicures. When we got there, there was a little bit of confusion but it was fine. I was satisfied with the basic pedicure, it wasn't the best I've received but it was still good. My friends who got manicures were not impressed. One friend got gel which started chipping within a couple days but it wasn't too bad. My other friends got regular nail polish which started chipping the next day to the point that they ended up just removing it because it looked so bad. I wish we could have given this place a better rating. The ladies were nice enough and I thought the pedicure was fine. read more

Originally had an appointment on Friday at 5:30pm. Unfortunately I couldn't make it so I called to reschedule for the next day, Saturday in the am or early afternoon. They made an appointment for 12. Showed up at 11:45. They took me back to start my DIP manicure at 11:55. Woman was so sweet and asked me if I like fed everything along the way. This is the first place that has ever clipped my cuticles before letting me walk out of the salon. For once I don't have to fix my own cuticles and I am truly satisfied with my experience. Reasons for not liking this place anymore: I used to come here all the time to get my nails and toes done. I use to enjoy it here a lot. It used to be a relaxing place. It has declined in professionalism, cleanliness (6/10) and quality. Many of the stylists are too social. I love to see people having fun at work and I love seeing people happy where they work. But the Priority of the customer is NOT #1. Many talk too much to the point they are not focusing on getting the job done, and precision is not a focus point either. My nails were 7/10. I also asked for a manicure to get my cuticles cleaned up when I got my dip powder color and it was not done. I was asked 6x if I liked the color I picked out. Every time I was asked, I said yes. I wasn't sure if maybe the lady forgot if she asked me already or if she forgot what I told her. The dip powder color was on my cuticles and I ended up leaving the store trying to remove the dip from my cuticles and sides of my fingers. Prices did go up significantly but I understand that due to the inflation. But they also left the door open all day with 57 degree weather. It was cold inside and not a relaxing experience at all. No music was playing but the news and other tv screens. read more

The price was quite high for starters. The girl who did my gel nails - I guess they had thinned down the polish so much it didn't look even all over and had see through places once I looked at them in the sun. I called back and was told I could return the next day. One of my nails broke within an hour after leaving. When I went back they were nice and I just asked if I could pay the difference to get the powder. A different girl did my nails, when I was charged I was charged full price again. I again asked if I could pay the difference and they told me that girl got her money yesterday, I need to be paid today. So folks needless to say this lady can not justify 95.00 and almost 2 hours to have her nails done there again. Hard pass. I know there is a language barrier but the two I dealt with the second day spoke very good English- there is no confusing what I asked for. Pearl is a very nice nail salon. All of the girls are very nice. They do everything to do with nails and waxing. Pearl has the largest nail color selection that I have seen. I go see Wendy, she does a wonderful job. She is very good at all kinds of designs. You can tell that all the ladies take pride in their place by how clean it is. First of all, the location is good and convenient, so I made an appointment at Pearl Nails at Valley View. I spoke to someone the day before and I was to arrive at 12 noon, which I did. (I also drove from out-of-town to get there). It was 15 minutes before I was taken to a manicure chair. I was never told to wash my hands. Then for another 15 minutes. a guy proceeded to use a strong drill to forcefully take off my previous SNS nail manicure to the point it was hurting. I told him not to be so rough. Then he grabbed a nicer drill, and he was gentler. Then, after I had been in the shop for 30 minutes, I sat with foil on my nails for a while. Finally, another nail technician came to the table and worked (slowly) on my nails. I told her I had an appointment at 12, which she knew nothing about. Dust from the dip was coating my nails, and she just added more polish. She never told me to wash my hands, unlike some shops. The nails were "bumpy," more so than other shops. If she hadn't used the drill more in the end, it would've been very noticeable. I did not get my nails cut down and no decals or designs. The technicians continuously talked to each other in their language, and I got the feeling they were discussing me. The price was considerably more than other shops that I visited in 60 miles. I could name off 10 shops that are cheaper. Well, I was out of the shop in 2 hours. I don't recall ever being in a shop that long unless I was getting a manicure and pedicure both. The technicians were pretty nice, and my nails looked good when finished ; but personally, I was not overly impressed with the shop. read more

I don't know if she was in a hurry, overbooked, or just having a bad day; but my nails ended up looking awful at the event I attended. What a great experience! I am not from the area but found this place online. I called on Thursday afternoon and inquired if they take walk-ins and was told that they do but appointments are better. I was able to get an appointment for about 2 hours later. When I arrived, there was no wait. They had a huge selection of colors but did not rush me as I selected mine. Business was steady but the atmosphere was quiet. It was apparent that most of the clients were regulars who had appointments. The lady who helped me was pleasant and conversational but not intrusive. She spoke and understood English well, which was a plus. The pedicure was very relaxing and my manicure also came out great.
