Rip off. It's going to be over $20,000 to include dentures and extractions. I had a great job done at AVRA Dental $12,000 total including extractions and dentures. I saved over $8,000. Nice guy and staff but way too expensive. Kept trying to steer me to more expensive work without listening to what I really wanted and what my budget was. read more

The Luxe experience from start to finish is everything a dental office should be. Look no more, because Luxe is the best dentistry in the area. I was faithful to my old wonderful dentist in the Valley (who I had been seen for 10 years) even when I moved out here to Camarillo, but finally decided to try out someone local once the commute became too much. I am so happy that I gave Luxe a chance because they are just as great as my previous dentist. It took a while, but I finally convinced my husband to make the transition from our old dentist --- now he's a Luxe fan, too! Dr. Han and Dr. Tajima are both kind, gentle, and current with technology. They are smart and genuinely care about the health of your teeth. During your dental cleaning, they inform you of each step right before it happens. They are so proactive and educate you on things they notice in your teeth so as to prevent unfortunate things down the line. Everyone here from the front office staff to the dental assistants are courteous and such a pleasure to deal with. From the moment you walk in, Katherine welcomes you with a huge warm smile before you check in. She is especially fun to chat with -- I always feel like I'm catching up with a good friend when I see her. The office is modern and tastefully decorated. More importantly, it is super clean. Plus, you get awesome perks like NETFLIX and AROMATHERAPY while being worked on in MASSAGE CHAIRS!!! I can't ask for anything more. Even when you check out, the GOODIE BAGS awesome, too! I usually get a toothbrush, toothpaste, chapstick, mouthwash, floss, and sometimes even gum! Seriously, it's the little things that make a huge difference. I highly recommend this Dentists office to everybody!! Especially if you need implants!! Dr. Tajime was exceptional. He made my husbands front teeth perfect!! Let me start out by saying I am the biggest scaredy-cat ever when it comes to going to the dentist, so if I can ease anyone else's mind who is just as fearful as I am of sitting in the dentist's chair, I will be a happy camper. So, if you are terribly afraid of going to the dentist, PLEASE GO TO DR. HAN. You will NOT regret it, and she will put you at EASE. I made my first appointment with Dr. Han back in March. I have had issues with my gums on and off for four years. Calculus builds really easily on my lower gum line, and I was convinced I had full-blown periodontitis because of it. My previous dentist was one of those types that was more interested in telling you about his life struggles than actually cleaning my mouth (an appointment for a normal cleaning would take 60 minutes, and 10 of those was spent on my teeth), so I knew I needed to go somewhere new if I didn't want to lose all of my teeth at 23 years of age. Of course, I cried like a baby before going into my appointment because I am that much of a going-to-the-dentist-wuss, but I managed to drive myself over, and when I entered the office, everything felt so calm. It is VERY clean, and they use aromatherapy, so it always smells like a beachy paradise in there. Dr. Han worked very patiently with me to get all of my insurance information entered, and then one of her super polite assistants took me over to the chair. Get this: YES, they use massage chairs, and YES you can watch Netflix while they work on you. I had X-rays done, and Dr. Han did a thorough examination of my teeth and gums. The diagnosis? No cavities, a lot of calculus build up, and the very start of gingivitis. She did an initial cleaning and calculus scraping on me where I literally didn't feel a thing. At my old dentist, he would roughly scrape away at the calculus, and it gave me the feeling of nails on a chalkboard. Dr. Han uses modern equipment that buffs away the calculus neatly, and she has the most gentle touch ever. I seriously felt nothing. I have been back to Luxe Dental Studio twice since my first appointment in March to get a deep cleaning beneath my gum line for my top front and bottom front teeth. I expected I was going to need Novocaine and that there was going to be some slight pain associated with this procedure. Nope and nope. I can't tell you how elated I was considering I am terrified of needles and not a big fan of pain. I never though these words would exit my mouth, but going to the dentist was a RELAXING experience at Luxe Dental studio. Dr. Han is extremely gentle, and she works WITH you to help put your anxiety to rest. I mean it when I say I will fly to California to get my teeth exams done once I move back to Illinois. A dentist like this is a rare find, and when you are as anxious as I am about the dentist, you don't pass over a gem like Dr. Han. read more

Catherine always remembers my name and goes out of her way for me whether its calling another office for refferal appointments or making sure I can be seen when I have a sudden concern. I was so impressed with Luxe Dental Studio. My husband was in severe pain on Christmas 2012. We were desperately trying to reach his (previous) dentist the day after Christmas to at least get an idea of when he would be returning from vacation. FORTUNATLY we didn't receive a call back which lead us to discovering Luxe Dental Studio. Not only were they working the day after Christmas but welcomed him to come in the SAME DAY we called. Katherine was so wonderful and accommodating and I can't express how much I appreciate Dr. Han and Dr. Tajima. My husband had a phobia about going to the dentist after many bad experiences but with Dr. Han and Dr. Tajima, it was a totally different and overall pleasant experience. Luxe Dental Studio has such a relaxing environment with wonderful staff. Very disappointed. I thought we found a good local dentist. They will not stop calling, texting or emailing so you will make an appointment. That should have been the first clue. They let me know work needed and shared what the cost and claim amount would be. They did not take the time to explain what was really needed and cost would go up significantly and most likely not be covered by insurance. They are only focused on charging services and not about the patient. Stay away if for anything more than a cleaning. read more

I have always been terrified of the dentist. I cry just going to get my teeth cleaned. But today I went in for a consultation about a tooth extraction as well as a cleaning and I was totally calm and comfortable the entire time. They are very good at explaining everything they will be doing and they are super gentle as well.
