The removal of one hair in the wrong area can alter the look of my eyebrows tremendously. I can't tell you how many wax appointments I have left in tears (as well as plenty curse words and rolled eyes to people that claim they have experience with facial hair particularly pertaining to my heritage just to get inside my wallet). The precision and intelligence in this industry Ashley has is devine. It is obvious she has spent countless hours practicing and perfecting her technique. In all, I will never trust anyone with Microblading my eyebrows after this experience. It has almost been 2 years and the ink on my brows are still going strong. I am an extreme baby when it comes to pain. (I have experience getting laser hair removal and lip injections) Ashley made sure I was numb the entire time. I've heard so many horror stories of the pain people endure during their Microblading procedure. I relaxed and just listened to music. I can honestly say I had my least painful experience with Microblading specifically with Ashley. She's stuck touching me up for life at this point! For years, my wife expressed unhappiness with the thinness and irregularity of her eyebrows. She would spend a lot of time every morning filling them in with an eyebrow pencil. She did a good job, but it took up too much time. When she first mentioned wanting to have her eyebrows tattooed on, I was not supportive. To me, it seemed ridiculous to have something so permanent done. What if one of the tattoos was crooked, too thin, too fat, off-center, or who knows what? Ultimately, it was her decision to make. When she finally decided to commit to visiting BrowBeat, I was blown away by the final result. I also learned that the process is called microblading, and it is not the same as traditional tattooing. Microblading does require touchups over time, as fading occurs. This is actually a good thing, since it enables the shape of the eyebrow to be slowly modified if desired as the years progress. My wife's eyebrows look so natural that it's hard to believe she had anything done. There is nothing unnatural about the final result. She has gone for touchups the past two years, and this year (2023) was her third visit. It's really quite remarkable. My wife is so happy with the results, and I am relieved and happy too. She asked me about my skin and my current regimens, discussed easy ways to help elevate the routine. She was SUPER knowledgeable! We proceeded with the facial that was so good I fell asleep. When I woke up I was GLOWING! I will tell you...the people I saw the rest of the day complemented on how great my skin looked! 10/10. I left with a sample or 2 and another piece(s) of candy. I was excited to find a seemingly decent place to maybe start going to regularly, and this was my first time getting filler, which I thought would be taken a little more seriously by the medical professional/owner/"injector" (Daisy). Upon arrival the vibe was just kind of off. I was questioned about my job and it was downplayed, weird comments were made about how "big of an employer they are". I do not know how many times she mentioned how "expensive" her services are. More time was spent cleaning up to close shop than mapping out my lips. I have no paperwork on the product in my lips and received zero aftercare essentials, not even an ice pack. Lol. She'll have to set you up on a call with a random NP to get clearance to administer filler beforehand. My lips immediately swelled and it was so bad I cannot believe she even took a picture of them while I was in the chair, but I had hope as I know swelling and lumpiness is super common at first. Months and massages later they still look so bad. I've already scheduled a dissolving appointment elsewhere. And obviously pictures of my botched lips are missing from all their social platforms. Oh, and lastly, if you decide to use a credit card instead of cash, she will make a comment about that also. There are lots of other clinics within a ten mile radius that will actually treat you as a patient and with professional intent/aftercare. I would strongly recommend going that route, not here.
