I ended up getting my wash & treatment done with Jesus, since Nora had to take a lunch during the beginning of my appointment (not her fault). Jesus was very kind and the hair wash felt amazing! When Nora came back and it was time to do my hair, she asked what haircut I wanted. I showed two pictures and she let me know based on my current hair, which would work best with my thin hair. I appreciated that since I knew she was the expert in hair! She did her magic and I absolutely fell in love with how my hair currently looks! I'm so happy I booked Nora. Her customer service, her knowledge, how she made me feel in the chair, was amazing. I can't wait to be back for my next cut with her!

The store accepted my purchase without requiring a phone number or account, but when I tried to return the damaged item I was told the return could not be processed unless I provided my phone number or created an account. I declined sharing personal data, should be optional especially when a receipt is presented. I explained that if a phone number is required to process returns that condition should be clearly disclosed before purchase not enforced afterward. I was also willing to show ID for verification, which is a common retail practice, if proof of identity was what was required. What was most disappointing was the lack of support from both the associates and the evening manager. I had the damaged product in hand yet the manager stated they could not process an order override or offer any resolution in-store. Instead of assisting or escalating the issue appropriately I was simply told to contact customer service. I have never experienced a manager refusing to resolve a straightforward damaged item return and redirecting a customer elsewhere rather than helping in the moment. Additionally, return policy language directing customers to "ask an associate in store for more information " is vague and does not adequately disclose mandatory data requirements. I've shopped at many beauty retailers and have never been required to provide a phone number to return a defective product with a receipt. This experience felt unnecessarily and poorly handled, and I hope store management reviews both their return practices and how managers support customers when issues arise.

We came by on a Saturday, so a swap meet was occurring on the northern part of the parking lot. There was still a good amount of parking near the actual Alpine Village area, so the swap meet didn't affect parking too much. Alpine Village Cosmetics is on the other end of the Alpine Village, away from the Market. It's near the other smaller shops, such as the toy store, bookstore (which seems to now be closed), antique places, and a shoe store. Alpine Village Cosmetics is a good-sized shop with a lot of products concentrating on bath items (e.g., soap, shampoo, deodorant, hand soap, lotions, etc.), with some candies/mints, too. Eleonore kindly greeted us when we walked in, and offered any assistance if we had questions. Super-helpful when we had questions, and provided suggestions based on products that we picked out. We actually found this place by looking up on where Nivea is sold, and bought several other German-based products to try out. It was a lovely shopping experience, and we're looking forward to visiting again!
