Anyone who gave this business anything less than a 5 star review must be crazy!!! Not only were all the flower arrangements beautiful and delivered on time, but the staff was super sweet!! The day of our wedding was very windy so when they put out the flowers that were hanging on shepherds hooks, a couple of them were instantly blown over. Which broke the mason jars the flowers came in. The woman who had delivered the flowers went straight to my mom, let her know, and informed us she would be right back with brand new mason jars. She was back so fast that I didn't even notice until she had the whole situation fixed and looking beautiful. The money spent was well worth it. I highly recommend this company. read more

Our wedding was STUNNING thanks to LUX! Their talent and design set the tone for the most beautiful ceremony and reception I have ever seen. It still gets me teary eyed whenever I see pictures and videos from that day! LUX was amazing from start to finish. We met with them to discuss our very general wants (bright colors, lots of texture, crazy floral elements for our non-traditional wedding), and they got it perfectly in their very prompt and fully broken down quote and mock-up. The flowers that arrived for the wedding were fresh, colorful, and so fun. They also did a wild variety of table settings for us as well as awesome cocktail decor, all the wedding party flowers including many flower crowns, and more. Plus, they also designed a large 8' tall "wishing tree" out of manzanita branches and an awesome succulent base! Overall, LUX was a wonderful vendor, great with communication, and provided a superior service for a very reasonable price. We had tried telling Cynthia to contact me weeks prior to wedding since she said we could get extra flowers or something to make up for the extra tables they had charged us for. The sign in table vase did not have the arrangement I wanted too for on top of vase. We had no aisle runner we had requested and we had nothing blocking the rose petals on each side where the aisle runner was suppose to be. The vase with floating candle looked super cheap and tacky not at all what I had explained I wanted. I wanted flowers submerged in bigger vases with a bigger flower bouquet on top. Every time we had tried having Cynthia contact us she always was too busy. Poor communication and not sure if it was due to the high turn over. Seems as if the only time communication really happened was when you guys wanted payment. We went thru numerous people and never got a consistent person to deal with for the wedding. We never spoke with anyone on the day of the wedding. Overall, we are very displeased with the service that was provided. read more

Chantel was such a pleasure to work with! She was honestly one of our very favorite wedding vendors - incredibly detail-oriented, organized, diligent, responsive and charming. We had full faith that the flowers were under control and sure enough, everything went smoothly from the first email contact to meeting with her to the flowers arriving on the day of the wedding. We ordered bouquets, boutonnieres, hair combs and a petal bumper, with a succulent motif. She even worked in ferns in January. Cannot say enough nice things about Lux and Chantel! I couldn't have left the consultation fast enough... I've never felt like I've inconvenienced someone so much by requesting a quote for their services. Kathleen met with myself and my friend to plan flowers for my upcoming wedding. I brought my friend because, to be honest, I know nothing about flowers except what colors I wanted, so to have his knowledge of actually knowing what a flower is when it is named was helpful. So when she asked "So who are you" to him in some sort of tone, I wasn't overly thrilled. But we moved forward. When she asked my budget and I stated around $600, she proceeded to just shake her head, stack her papers, and say "Oh no that's not going to work". After explaining that I only needed bouquets and boutonnieres, she continued on with the appointment. She asked if we had any pictures that we could use as a reference, and we showed her one that we had brought as an idea of what I liked, so she proceeded to list the flowers out from the picture. I felt she almost needed to cite her work, because it wasn't so much of a consultation as it was a copy/paste session. So when she asked me what flowers I wanted in my bridal party's bouquet, my response was, "I'm not very sure, that's why I came to a florist." It's just unfortunate to have dealt with someone so unfriendly and unhelpful as we had. The kicker is she actually quoted us a price that was mildly cheaper than other florists I had visited, but for the poor experience alone, I'd rather spend the extra money elsewhere. Oh and that incessant chomping of the gum the entire time was maddening. read more

I had a floral consultation for my October 2015 wedding at Lux about 6 weeks ago. I spent about 40 minutes with a lady who jotted down a few notes and said she would send me some pricing information and examples of potential arrangements we had discussed. 6 weeks later and I have never heard from them again... I guess they didn't think I was going to spend enough on my small wedding. I even checked junk and spam filters, nothing. Save yourself your time and effort. I arranged an appointment with Cynthia to talk about floral arrangements for my wedding. The day of the appointment I get there to find out Cynthia supposively "called" me to reschedule from her boss. I never received a phone call, but didn't think it was that big of a deal since her boss took down all my information to get me a quote. It is now over a week and I never received the promised quote. They obviously don't want customers and I am appalled at their lack of customer service. read more

Lux recently did my wedding florals, and my gosh - were they ever STUNNING!! We had a very small wedding, but it had all the moving parts you'd expect of a full-size affair - altar arrangements, aisle petals, chair décor, bouquet, corsages, boutonnieres, reception florals, card box table flowers, buffet tables, dinner tablescape...ALL were entirely magnificent! We not only got exactly what we ordered, but the flowers were even more spectacular in person. My bouquet easily weighed 8 pounds - it was so fat and luscious! I'd never seen anything so perfect. I could have carried it for weeks, and didn't want to put it down. lol It was all wrapped in ivory satin ribbon with a row of pearls and rhinestones...just amazing. Also, the price we paid was less than half of what the competition quoted us. Keep in mind - Lux is also a wholesaler, so, they sell the flowers to other florists and designers, who then charge you a hefty mark up. Also, being a wholesaler means they always have access to the freshest flowers possible, as they deal with such high volume. I could not have been more happy with our gorgeous florals, and Cynthia was a dream to work with - always responsive and truly cared about the success of our wedding. read more

I know very little about floral arrangements, but had a concept in my head I was trying to bring to life. Cynthia did just that. I was disappointed with the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. I had placed a huge order of 4 different types of coral colored roses for the reception centerpeices which were vibrant and gorgeous, yet the bridal bouquets used a majority of different flowers which were dull in comparison. That alone would have been disappointing but ok, but it was the use of picked apart, dyed-to-match dull color, then shriveled and bruised hydrangea peices that made the bouquets embarrassing. I had to apologize to my step daughter that the bouquets not only did not match her description of what she wanted, but looked worn out before she even walked down the aisle. read more

They are one of the few floral shops that specialize in weddings that has a impressive physical store front. I might even attend one of their DIY classes it looks like so much fun! I originally saw them at a wedding convention and LOVED their flowers! I contacted Lux via email, and had been communicating with Cynthia. She was very nice and professional. My mother and I scheduled and appointment and met with her in November. Things went very well; she took down lots of info about my wedding, and even showed us around the shop. By the end, she told me that she would email me a price quote and information on the flower arrangements that we discussed. I am disappointed because I never received a follow-up email, and it has been over a month since we met. I checked my spam, junk, & other folders numerous times, and even had my fiance look through my email to see if I had missed it. We ended up choosing another florist because of this situation. The planning process was great, we worked with cynthia on creating our look and budget for the big day and she was so sweet, very easy to talk to and made sure our "look" was created. We even made a change to our table set up after making our original plans and she was able to meet with us again to go over the changes and was totally on board with our idea and made some awesome suggestions. Day of we had the team deliver our floral to the camby hotel, cynthia was there and even helped the guys get their boutonnières on! I loved my bouquet and everyone loved how our big day looked. I think if you let these designers do their job and give them your ideas on what you like you'll be more than impressed with their work, it was even better than I visioned. I really wanted this place to be good, they are connected to AZ flower market and I absolutely love them. I read the reviews and decided to still set up a consultation. I met with Cyathia. We were there for 30 minutes, maybe. showed her pictures, told her what I wanted, informed her I wanted to keep my budget as low as possible, just like every other bride. She was very friendly and told me she would send me a quote with pictures and prices and we could customize my package from there. She said I should have it by the end of the week, it's been 3 weeks now and I haven't heard from her since the consultation. I would never recommend this company to anyone based solely on Cynthia. I get the feeling she doesn't want to waste her time with smaller weddings. Extremely rude and poor experience. I'll be sure to let everyone know about my visit there. read more

We used LUX florist as part of the Arizona Family Florist group, because of the high end, grand nature of the selection in that line. We were celebrating our 5 year grand opening with a ribbon cutting, and the flowers were perfect. They took my requests and made a special custom design that we featured at the front of the room.
