Disappointing . Rough thread,&visible abrasions.Thread Abrasions; can occur during eyebrow threading if the technique isn't precise.

This IS my last visit after four attempts. My first two visits went well, which led me to return a third time. However, I noticed a small cut& the thread felt very thin. I had requested my preferred technician from my first visit, but when I arrived, she was busy with a mother-daughter duo for henna tattoos. I chose to wait for her, even at the risk of being late for work. When I finally received service, the thread was rough, and I noticed another cut. I didn't say anything thinking perhaps I waited too long this time. After the technician was done at check out she says "You know the other girl is good too." I found that unprofessional, especially before starting I offered to return the next day if it was too busy. On my fourth visit, I tried a new technician while my original was on the phone. The thread was again thin and rough, leading to abrasions that hurt. Despite my ten years of experience with threading, this was the worst I've encountered. The new technician lacked skill, and my eyebrows turned out poorly. Given the cheap thread and the dismissive attitude, I'll be looking for a new place to get my brows done. I've never had issues with technicians wanting to build a relationship until now. If they can't deliver quality service, they should consider other ways to improve their business instead of pushing clients away. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place, especially with the poor quality of materials used.

It was my first time here and I had a good experience, I wish this location was closer to me! Walked in around 640, no wait and got my eyebrows threading and was out by 650. It was hardly painful and the lady did exactly as I asked. $7 for eyebrow threading is a tough price to beat nowadays so this is definitely a good deal! I would recommend this location.

Been here only once before, but I remembered that they do a wonderful job. The lady who did my eyebrows and upper lip was friendly and I love that she didn't nick any part of my skin off like some other places that I've been. Wished I lived closer to this place, but worth it coming here. Bring cash because you will be charged $1 for the use of your credit card.

I requested my eyebrows be cleaned up but left full. When i left, half my eyebrows were gone and they looked so thin like I drew them on with a sharpie. Very disappointed. read more

Updated Review: Honestly, you get what you pay for. I only started coming here because I Love up the street and it's $5! I typically go to Bella's in RC but now I'm to far. But the gal here should not be doing my eyebrows. It used to always be hit and miss but now she can't even thread with a seamless line! I'll take my business back to Bella's and make that trip just because they do amazing work! I'm sorry never again will I come here... I pay for my eyebrows to get done correctly and she continues to mess them up. It's not mean it's just the truth. I am a huge fan of small businesses but you need to do your part to on customer service and quality. Old Review: This place is great for only $5! You can't beat that price! The lady working there is great, the only down fall is sometimes it's a hit and miss. One day she will do my eyebrows perfect and the next day she will make them thin and shaped weird. I come here because it's the closest to my house. I love the way the younger lady does my eyebrows, she's always really gentle and nice. However, the older lady is always so rude and trashing my eyebrows whenever she does them. She's also very rough and has left me bleeding at times. I now longer have the older lady do my eyebrows, I wait for the other one to do them. Sorry I don't know either of their names. read more

I have gone here desperately during COVID to get work done. Never did I have problems until my last two times . I contracted a rash on face and now have to have steroid treatments from a dermatologist! I r been out of work for weeks now. Beware this place is in desperate need of being shut down. The reason they only accept cash and zelle now is because they don't comply by any regulations. Zero sanitizer or sanitizing. They are too cheap to even use a different eyebrow brush in between clients. Half ass putting some which hazel on your face as well. They are disgusting and I hope they get shut down by the health department ASAP!!!! read more

If I can give it a zero star I would. I went in with shaded brows to make it easier for the lady to thread them in the shape I wanted. Not only did she do them thinner than expected but she was was very harsh and didn't even bother to remove any hairs from my face. I am not a person to go online to complain but I really take care of my eyebrows due to bad experience in past. I read most of the reviews on here and was expecting a great outcome but unfortunately I didn't have one. I am not judging the whole place just the lady I went with. read more

I have been a regular customer here for over a year, I have went elsewhere and always been unhappy with the result, and I always come back here. My eyebrows get pretty bad when i let them grow out and every time I leave here, I'm always in LOVE and cannot wait to do my makeup. There is often times a line or wait list, but she works really fast and is very patient. read more

I love this place she always does a super great job and is very quick. I come on my lunch breaks and I'm always in and out. I've gone on the weekend and have only waited a short time as some one was ahead of me. I have been coming to Lux since it was in it's original location by Starbucks. Great prices and great work. I love how my eyebrows come out. I enjoy the Bollywood movies playing while I wait. I usually come after work right before they close during the week and there usually isn't a wait. Saturdays it's usually busy, but the wait isn't too long. She also does henna but I have yet to try it. I usually just do eyebrows. read more

I went in yesterday for the first time because my go-to lady at my original threading place quit. Anyway, I was the only one in there, so I was in and out within 10 minutes! They are suuuper cheap and the girl (Sandeep) did a great job! I'm very happy with the results, and I'd definitely recommend this place to others! read more

I've always been a wax kind of gal but after I got my eyebrows threaded here I'm never getting them waxed again. They do such a great job and it lasts so much longer than a wax. Plus for $4.99 why not. Don't forget to get a stamp card. They recently moved locations next to the Checks Cashed; in the same parking lot as the Home Depot. read more

I super love this place. This visit was the first time I've been here. It's brand new, clean, and modern. I bought a Groupon to try this place, and I'm so glad. I'll definitely be coming here from now on. Good prices and my eyebrows look wonderful. I didn't even have to go home and fix them. The shape is just what I want. Oh, by the way I looked in Yelp and the business has no credit cards accepted on their specs, but inside there's a small sign stating that they charge $1 for credit card processing, so you have to pay a bit for it (as you do at many salons), but the service is there. I hate paying that, so if you're like me, just being cash :) read more

I ALWAYS get my threading here. They never fail to do exactly what I ask for. Always wearing there mask and making me feel comfortable. They thread your eyebrows w like a necklace thing tied around there neck and having the thread attached to that so they can keep there mask on. read more

Love the way she does my eyebrows as I have very little brows, BUT, for some reason, it's a lot more painful than all the other places I've gotten my brows threaded. I really want to like this place... The lady is nice and does a good job. However, I've been here three times at 10am and the shop has never been open on time. Today I wait til 10:08 and had to leave. One time it was 1030 and still not open. My first time I was there at 11 and they were open. read more

I usually go to a different place to get my eyebrows done but this place is right around the corner from where I live and thought I would try it out. This place was great, I went on a Saturday morning so there weren't too many people and the wait was short. My eyebrows look great and the price is right, cheaper than the place I usually go to. My sister went to get her brows a few weeks ago and the one of the lady's not knowing that my sister is also Indian said "this Kanjari has been sitting there" Kanjari translated to English is a whore.
