She would share how her brother just died and how she was worried about her son. I remained silent and somehow it seems, my silence made her uncomfortable. She would then make comments and give her (ignorant) opinion stating, "oh that's why, " when I stated I didn't have children. Which is none of her business, for my son Stephen Lindsey Stacey III, has passed away. There was nothing in Marias rapid anxiousness, which encouraged an open invitation to share. Therefore, I would NOT recommend Maria, for lack of kindness, time management, and a professional capacity to separate interruptions from family life to work/professional life. The owner assured me that the lash tech would call or text me and reach out to me prior to my appointment with her availability so that we could arrange another time. The lash tech never called or texted. The salon had ample time to contact me to inform me that I would not be able be have my service done. Since the lash tech never followed up, I had to only have correspondence with the owner who was away on a trip to Vegas. I was on the phone with the owner as I was walking into the salon to confirm yet again that everything was good to go and that I would be able to have my lashes done. After hanging up with owner and upon entering the lash salon I was greeted very rudely by the lash tech who - instead of just politely asking to reschedule or letting me know the options she would be able to complete in the given time frame - immediately asks me "What's the reason you need your lash's done today?" "Is there a reason?" which was very off putting. I had prepaid already for my Full Volume Lash Set and since I'm visiting only for the weekend I had to order pick up & drop off to the salon. I told her I was visiting and wanted the volume set I had pre-purchased. She told me that she couldn't do anything about it. She kept repeating that she didn't have time and refused my service. The owner had given the lash tech all my contact info at 6am. If that was the case and she knew she couldn't fit me into her schedule she should of had the common courtesy of informing me herself before having me go out of my way to the salon after having to rearrange my schedule to accommodate her. The lash tech never offered to reschedule for another time for the weekend and never offered to refund my prepaid amount while I was in the salon. I had to call the owner yet again while she was away on her trip to have her do a refund, which was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Poor customer service.

I received a call out of the blue accusing me of cheating them by using a service twice without paying both. The lady on the phone kept calling me a liar until I told her to stop and check with her own people and let me tell talk. She went on and on until I had to yell at her to let me talk. What happened was that I came in but I was using hydroquinone for the last 7 days so they couldn't perform the procedure so they asked me to come back later. On the book, it showed that I came in twice but the procedure was performed only once. Why didn't she check with her team first before accusing me of being a liar and cheater? Who would talk to another person like that and particularly a customer? So rude and unprofessional. In terms of the service, the IPL has ZERO effect. I called them and they said that I need to do another session. I have had IPL done in the past and I understand that I need several sessions to get all the blemishes out. However, I would expect to see some redness and some dark spots crushed up. Nothing happened here. If you don't have the right intensity, you can have 100 sessions without seeing any effect. Other offices would ask me to come in and try a different setting at no additional cost to make sure that they have it right. Don't fall for the Groupon gimmicks. It's cheap but you are getting ZERO value so it ended up costing you more. Don't use this place!
