I have been going there for a couple years now. I am so pleased with our manicures acrylic nails. My sister loves their pedicures.

I'm have gone to Lux on two separate occasions. Both times I have called to book an appointment and have had no issues getting in with short notice. Location is clean but very bare compared to some other nail locations in Dubuque. That being said they have tons of color options and styles. I really liked both styles I got done when I was there. I had more of an issue with the removal process. I paid to have these nails removed which I thought was just going to be a soak off. It was not. My nails were severely damaged by the dremel tool. It caused one of my nails to completely split and bleed. Moral of the story. I love the one nail tech and could see myself returning but I will NEVER return there to have nails removed. read more

It was my first time. They did a great job. And their prices were cheaper than some of the others. The only complaint I have is that it took over 2 hrs. They weren't super busy that day, so I think they took extra time with me. I will definitely go back a 2nd time. Lynne did my nails and Michael did my pedicure. So, first when my daughter walked in there. The employees were extremely rude yelling all over and yelled at us when we didn't give them a tip. Then, when we walked out a bald Chinese man called my daughter beautiful, but not in the complimenting manner but, in a creepy way if you have a daughter please do not go there it's a bad environment and there's many other nail places you can go to in Dubuque, Iowa. read more

Its been a while since I had a pedicure and I decided to give a new business a try. I'm so glad I did. Lynne, her husband (they are the owners) and staff were so kind. I took a chance on being a walk in on a Saturday morning and got in. I timed it right because it wasn't long and all seats were full. I decided to splurge on the deluxe pedicure. It was soo worth it, with the hot stone massage, and I could pick from selection of scents for my foot soak, exfoliation and lotion. I highly recommend the scent called Pearl. I didn't catch his name but Lynne's husband did my pedicure and was so wonderful and friendly. Very clean and bright, the owners were helpful and kind with the their staff as well, which also impressed me. I don't get nails done often but I when I do I will be back. A regular was in getting her feet and hands done before going on vacation and she also had nothing but stellar things to say. Went to Lux nails on a Monday at 12:30. The quality is very good. The place is very clean. The parking is sparse, but I found a place. I received a pedicure costing 56 dollars. This is a bit pricey, but they will put your shoes and socks on for you. I love it with gel nails how the machine drys them. I had a non English speaking gentleman and he was very thorough. There are people there that do speak English so you can get your preferences heard. My rating is based on my favorite place has lotions for your legs, you pick the scent and they do heated towels! Now that is 5 star! I will go back to Lux nails though. read more
