I wanted to cut my hair a bit shorter, and Ashley took her time to not cut off too much at once and made sure I was still happy with the length. After a couple trims all around, I took almost 4 inches off. I'm so happy with how much lighter my hair feels, and the cut and layering looks great! Ashley also took time to put in some nice curls for style, and gave my make-up a touch-up at the end of our appointment. The salon is very clean and is in a great location downtown. I'm interested to go back next time to get a pedicure and manicure as well. Refreshments are offered at the beginning of appointments. The salon uses Davines products for hair care, which are all-natural and smell great. I purchased the Oi All In One Hair Milk that is great for heat protection and blow-drying. I selected 2:30 and even took the time to confirm that it worked (because I was told it was the latest). The receptionist confirmed and said it was not an issue at all. I receive a confirmation call on Thursday confirming the 2:30 appointment. On Friday morning, I received a voicemail letting me know that the stylist had some openings earlier at 12, 12:30 or 1 if I wanted to make changes--the same ones that were available when I made the appointment. I didn't return the call because these times obviously did not work with my schedule and I wanted to keep my appointment time at 2:30. An hour and half before my appointment, I received another call now claiming that the stylist is sick and will not be taking my appointment. It was clearly obvious the stylist did not want to wait around for my appointment. If the stylist was truly sick, she should not be taking ANY appointments. I find it strange that she could work in the morning, push for me to come for a 12, 12:30 or 1 pm appointments but was now sick and couldn't do the scheduled 2:30 appointment. Please treat your other customers with respect!

To make a VERY long story short- everyone's hair ended up so disappointing that the second we left we made last minute appointments at another salon across town. My stylist was so out of shape that she had to sit in a rolling desk chair in order to do my hair. I had seen how the other updos had turned out before me, so I decided to have them style it down. She kept asking me to lean my head sideways so she could reach the top of my head (remember, shes sitting in a chair) and instead of washing my hair- she caked on hair spray and held the straightener down onto my hair for way too long. It caused so much damage to my ends that she seriously asked me if she could cut my hair...?!? No thank you! I was done by that point. I had asked her to stop and we left. Regardless of the hair, the wedding was outstanding. Although- receiving a beautiful hairstyle the first time we tried would have been great.

I don't remember the name of the stylist but she did good. If I run into a pinch before find a barber shop I'm sure I'll go back as long as it's the same one working.
