I'm a First Timer and will definitely be coming back. My tan looks great. Beautiful natural looking color. No streaks on my feet, knees or hands. Karissa is super sweet. Cute little place-will be back! read more

I had never had a spray tan so to say I was nervous would be a huge understatement, however Karissa was absolutely amazing. She makes you feel super comfortable and is incredibly Knowledgeable about all the products so if you have any questions she can answer them. Not only did I feel great after but I looked like a bronzed goddess. I've been back several times and have never been disappointed! read more

Glow & Tell - Tanning Near Me

Keep coming back because the results are great! Karissa is so friendly and helpful, always willing to answer any questions I have. Tried the finishing powder for the first time and it makes a BIG difference with how you feel post-tan. Highly recommend. read more

I'm blown away by Karissa's talent! You want to hire her. She travelled out to the cabin where my friends and I were staying to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. It was incredibly easy to schedule, plan, and just overall work with Karissa. She arrived on time and was finished early. Most importantly though she did a phenomenal job. I had given her 2 hair photos as inspiration and she executed it PERFECTLY. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup regularly I was worried typical wedding make up would be too much for me. Again though she hit it out of the park! My makeup was flawless and I lost count of the number of compliments I received from it. We did 2hrs of wedding photos mostly out in the rain that day before my reception and my hair and makeup stayed put. No one was able to tell, she did that great of a job. Honestly I can't recommend Glow and Tell enough. It was like having another friend in the room while we got ready. Thank you so much Karissa for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!! read more

Writing another 5-star review, since my last one was from 2015! Glow & Tell with Karissa is still just as amazing as ever!! Karissa even did my makeup, hair, and my spray tan, along with all my bridesmaid's, back in October for my wedding, and we all looked STUNNING. Her organic solution gives you such a nice bronze color; not orange at all. I've been going to Karissa for almost 5 years now, and the quality she puts forth into her business and her work is truly superior. I will most definitely be a client for life! read more

I hired Karissa to do my wedding hair and makeup. It was just me, we did not have a bridal party. I am blown away by how talented she is. I never wear makeup, and when I do, it's just eyeliner and mascara. So I was intimidated by wedding makeup. I knew I wanted something really natural, with maybe a little extra on the eyes to make them stand out. I wanted a simple hairstyle, curled, that went well with my dress and a crystal headband I had purchased. Karissa gave me exactly what I wanted. She even talked me into fake lashes, which I really wasn't sure about (again, not a makeup wearer), but they were exactly what I needed for my look. I am beyond grateful to Karissa for making me look so beautiful on my wedding day and putting me at ease in a situation where I wasn't really comfortable. She is a wonderful stylist and I cannot recommend her enough. read more

Best spray around and I have tried them ALL. The color is SO natural and it doesn't smell too badly. Plus I love online booking! Thanks for making me look my best. read more

This is only my second time getting spray tanned but I have to say everything about this experience was far superior than my first time getting spray tanned. Karissa was warm and easy to talk to and her space was super adorable and comfortable. She definitely knew what she was doing because she was quick and efficient but the color was perfect and streak free. I felt like 'yonce at coachella this past weekend... okay not THAT fabulous but like a golden goddess all weekend:) and it's been 6 days since I've gone in and I still have a pretty good base of color! Love Love Love! Next time I need a spray tan I'll definitely be booking here. Oh and check-in to get your $5 off! read more

The best of the best. Been there three times. Coming back tomorrow with a membership. She's SO fast and it STAYS! !!! Never orange nor stinky. Makes me feel so much sexier! Always a good conversation too. Love her. read more

Last week, I had a tanning for my 9th wedding anniversary staycation at Pelican Hills Resort. I was in a hurry and left my diamond bezel gold Rolex watch. After I returned home, I noticed that the watch was missing just before we checked into the hotel. At first, I wasn't even sure whether I left the watch at Karrisa's salon. Well, to my surprise, Karissa kept my watch safely and my hubby picked it up. My wedding anniversary day was shaken upside down twice by this incident. Thanks for your honesty, Karissa!! Back to the Airbrush Tanning - I'm a huge fan of Karissa's airbrush tanning because she gives you this gorgeous natural looking glow and she is the first one to blow the Baby Powder after the tanning session so it doesn't get sticky. Very nice little final touch makes a big difference. I've tried a few other places in Newport Beach in the past, but by far Sun In A Gun is the BEST!! read more

Super quick and awesome! The color was perfect when i woke up on Saturday morning! My husband said that I looked like a "Miami Mommy!" lol I will definitely be going back...my husband wants to buy me 12 months worth, it looked really good! Thank you! read more

I love it here! I've been going for a while and she is very flexible and willing to accommodate time wise. She does a fast and fantastic job! I love the contouring! read more

Karissa's application is perfect. I had airbrush done before a weekend in Vegas and was so pleased. She is very professional. The process of getting sprayed by a stranger could be slightly uncomfortable, but not so with Karissa. She is precise and efficient. The tan lasted all weekend and into the following week. I did go back to my 'rougher' habits (exfoliating and towel rubbing dry) when I got home so who knows how long the tan could have lasted. I loved the color achieved and know I'll be booking again! read more

I went to a bachelorette party where the bride encouraged us to get a spray tan before the wedding. I was nervous because I didn't want to look tacky but since everyone was doing i thought what the heck might as well. 10 minutes after my spray tan by Karissa I was in love. The next day, even more so. The day of the wedding SO HAPPY. it was beautiful, easy, didn't run. It looked like i just got back from vacation. After my amazing experience with Karissa, I went to another spray tanning girl by my house. I was sooo unimpressed. I learned that the solution you use is everythinggg. It was blotchy, thick, and wore off on my clothes within 2 days. I heard Karissa opened up her own store in Newport, I had to go back. Such a treat and worth every penny. Love feeling bronzed and beautiful! read more

Highly recommend. Came here for my first ever spray tan last time and was impressed. Came back again last Friday before a Vegas trip & she does not disappoint. A friend actually recommended her to me! No complaints. read more

I've been to maybe 1,000 tanning salons (yes, total addict here), but Karissa is definitely in the top three...that's a big freaking deal! First off, I LOVE her location...sooooo prime, and I've never had a parking issue. Her salon is adorable and decorated very well and I live for the gold stripe walls On to the real talk, her tans are BOMB. I have had the medium color and the far, both are amazing. Her tans are full coverage, very natural and look amazing. To me, getting a spray tan is a luxury and the experience should be as well. Karissa dose the disappoint and she will give you the best tan, whether it be for a special occasion...or just a mid-week Morse boost! read more

Clarissa is the sweetest, her tans are flawless and are always long lasting. Best in OC!

Loved my spray tan! She did a great job and was very quick. I also purchased the self tanner for home and love it. Highly recommend.

I was in desperate need of a summer glow for my engagement pictures. I found Glow and Tell on yelp and i was happy i did. I love the option of online booking since it makes it easy to find matching availability. Karissa was very nice, professional, and you could tell she was experienced. She recommended a natural color that she usually recommends to brides. My tan was perfect and i can't wait to see how my pictures turned out. I will definitely return. read more

I've tried several spray tan salons since I was a teen and struggled to find a place that didn't turn me orange, or an unnatural looking color. So I am very happy I found this place ! Karissa is super sweet and the whole set up of her salon is adorable. My tan always looks super natural and glowing! I highly recommend this salon !!:) read more

Great place with experienced professionals and quick services..can't wait to do again! Thanks so much!

This was absolutely amazing!!! My first time getting a spray tan and it was the easiest process ever. I felt so comfortable and the results are exactly what I was hoping for. I am addicted and will ONLY ever be going to Karissa and cannot thank her enough for the results! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed! read more

I've been meaning to write this review for AGES! Glow & Tell has the BEST airbrush tan I've ever gotten. Ever. I highly recommend the quick dry (3-5 hrs) for those who are impatient as I am. I get tans before vacay, Stagecoach, before my engagement session, boudoir, wedding, you name it! Side note, Karissa has the cutest little take-home products too. You can't go wrong. read more

This was my first custom airbrush spray tan in a few years, so I was a little nervous. I had to work an event in Vegas last weekend, so I needed to be tan and looking good! She gave me a lighter shade, but it looked amazing! I got so many compliments on my tan! She made me feel very comfortable and she's very nice. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Glow & Tell - I am normally very white, so she gave me a light tan to make it look more natural. I loved it! =) - Tanning Near Me

Karissa is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I promise you, I have had my share of airbrush tans and never have I had such a natural, beautiful result! On top of it, she is such a sweet and kind person. I always recommend Glow and Tell to all of my friends and family looking for a beautiful glow! read more

Karissa is the absolute best! I have been getting spray tans for over 10 years and have never found a tan that wouldn't make me orange or blotchy. I never get streaks with K's tans nor do my hands or feet ever have a weird orange residue left on them. I have even gone to workouts with her tan and profusely sweat and the tan still looked perfect. She is quick, but thorough and is such a sweet lady. I am a customer for life read more

I've been here several times. As a pale girl it's hard to get a natural looking tan but she nails it. Parking is super easy and she makes you feel really comfortable. Very fast process with great results. read more

Fantastic spray tan. Super quick and professional. I usually get a spray tan before tropical vacations, and I am always happy with the results. The tan really lasts well and looks super natural. Love it! read more

Loved my tan! Karissa was on time, professiinal and fast. In and out in under 15. My tan is a natural looking color and although half of it has worn off over a weeks time, it still looks pretty nice. I have pretty fair skin color naturally. I didn't shower until the next day which left my tan very dark. Karissa had suggested that I shower after 3 hours but I wasn't able to accomplish that. The color was great regardless even though I was darker than I was originally shooting for. Next time I will plan on a shower before the next day. read more

Karissa (owner) is literally THE best!! I've had numerous airbrush tans in the past and hers is by far my favorite of all time! I refer all my clients and my brides to her for their special day. It lasts forever and it wears off so gently which is a huge plus. She's knows her stuff! read more

Karissa is the cherry on top! Not only do I love my tan but seeing Karissa is always a lovely time!!

Karissa always knocks it out of the ball park. Whenever I need a tan boost she's my go to girl. Not only is she quick and efficient but she's so sweet and easy to talk to. Her tan comes off as the most natural and streak free read more

Carissa, thank you sooo much. Very professional, and I LOVE MY TAN!!! This is my 2nd time getting a spray tan and the first time I had it done by someone else from another salon. My experience at Glow and Tell was by far quick and easy! And my tan is gorgeous. I definitely will be a returning customer! Thank you Carissa!! read more

I love how I look after my airbrush tan. Very clean and K is very sweet and makes you feel very comfortable.

I always feel bad giving a bad review, but this was one of the worst tans I've received. I wonder where all the 5 stars come from. It was too light and not worth the money. The tan doesn't show up right away (which apparently it's not supposed to because it just leaves out the dye) but I like the instant tan look. Mine just never really showed up. I always trust the person to pick the right color for me, but I guess I should have been more critical. Plus, she said she would call me "tomorrow" to see how I liked it and she never did. Not a huge deal I guess, but I was hoping for the call so I could explain what I didn't like. And I need to get off the email list, too. read more

Karissa is great. There's nothing more uncomfortable than standing around naked while someone sprays you but she makes it feel like no big deal. The results are always great. My daughter and I won't go anywhere else read more

Big fan! Had a great experience today.. Quick, comfortable and tan! Make sure to tip!

I was in a wedding last weekend and wanted some color, since I'm normally bordering on transparent :) The wedding was on Saturday and I went in on Wednesday morning. This was my first spray tan and I was afraid I would end up looking like an orange mess, but the color came out very golden and natural. Karissa was awesome and made me feel so comfortable! The tan was very even and I got so many compliments on the day of. Her salon is really cute and her price point is more than reasonable. I would definitely go back to see her! read more

Ok so I never really write reviews but had to give Karissa some love because this is by far THE HAPPIEST IVE EVER BEEN WITH A SPRAY TAN!!! I did the organic full body airbrush with a groupon for $19! It was fast, easy, her shop is so cute (and clean), and she makes you feel comfortable even though your pretty much spinning around naked in front of a stranger... That has to be hard to do. There was no nasty smell, I have sensitive skin and it didn't bother it at all, and most of all it seriously looks amazing! It's natural but evened out my skin tone and gave me a subtle glow. I love it!!! Never going anywhere else again. read more
