I'm blown away by Karissa's talent! You want to hire her. She travelled out to the cabin where my friends and I were staying to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. It was incredibly easy to schedule, plan, and just overall work with Karissa. She arrived on time and was finished early. Most importantly though she did a phenomenal job. I had given her 2 hair photos as inspiration and she executed it PERFECTLY. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup regularly I was worried typical wedding make up would be too much for me. Again though she hit it out of the park! My makeup was flawless and I lost count of the number of compliments I received from it. We did 2hrs of wedding photos mostly out in the rain that day before my reception and my hair and makeup stayed put. No one was able to tell, she did that great of a job. I hired Karissa to do my wedding hair and makeup. It was just me, we did not have a bridal party. I am blown away by how talented she is. I never wear makeup, and when I do, it's just eyeliner and mascara. So I was intimidated by wedding makeup. I knew I wanted something really natural, with maybe a little extra on the eyes to make them stand out. I wanted a simple hairstyle, curled, that went well with my dress and a crystal headband I had purchased. Karissa gave me exactly what I wanted. This is only my second time getting spray tanned but I have to say everything about this experience was far superior than my first time getting spray tanned. Karissa was warm and easy to talk to and her space was super adorable and comfortable. She definitely knew what she was doing because she was quick and efficient but the color was perfect and streak free. Karissa's application is perfect. I had airbrush done before a weekend in Vegas and was so pleased. She is very professional. The process of getting sprayed by a stranger could be slightly uncomfortable, but not so with Karissa. She is precise and efficient. The tan lasted all weekend and into the following week. I did go back to my 'rougher' habits (exfoliating and towel rubbing dry) when I got home so who knows how long the tan could have lasted. First off, I LOVE her location...sooooo prime, and I've never had a parking issue. Last week, I had a tanning for my 9th wedding anniversary staycation at Pelican Hills Resort. I was in a hurry and left my diamond bezel gold Rolex watch. I was nervous because I didn't want to look tacky but since everyone was doing i thought what the heck might as well. 10 minutes after my spray tan by Karissa I was in love. The next day, even more so. The day of the wedding SO HAPPY. it was beautiful, easy, didn't run. It looked like i just got back from vacation. After my amazing experience with Karissa, I went to another spray tanning girl by my house. I was sooo unimpressed. I learned that the solution you use is everythinggg. Loved my tan! Karissa was on time, professiinal and fast. In and out in under 15. My tan is a natural looking color and although half of it has worn off over a weeks time, it still looks pretty nice. I have pretty fair skin color naturally. I didn't shower until the next day which left my tan very dark. Karissa had suggested that I shower after 3 hours but I wasn't able to accomplish that. The color was great regardless even though I was darker than I was originally shooting for. Next time I will plan on a shower before the next day. read more

I always feel bad giving a bad review, but this was one of the worst tans I've received. I wonder where all the 5 stars come from. It was too light and not worth the money. The tan doesn't show up right away (which apparently it's not supposed to because it just leaves out the dye) but I like the instant tan look. Mine just never really showed up. I always trust the person to pick the right color for me, but I guess I should have been more critical. Plus, she said she would call me "tomorrow" to see how I liked it and she never did. Not a huge deal I guess, but I was hoping for the call so I could explain what I didn't like. And I need to get off the email list, too. read more
