The manicurist's behavior was appalling and the overall manicure sub-par (see photos below for the hack job on my cuticles and the overall streaky and messy colour). Big props to the young woman running this bustling business- a one-woman show- with integrity and respect. I booked my appointment online, which was very quick and easy. I've been a few times, hoping once I got into their grove, things would improve. I can't even count the number of unreturned voicemails I've left. There's a candy bar at the front and a coffee machine but I've never seen anyone be offered a drink. The nail services themselves are good. The level of disrespect, hostility, and unprofessionalism shown was completely unacceptable for someone representing a business. What made the situation even worse were the accusations and statements made on camera, which appeared misleading and dishonest. Rather than handling the situation with maturity, respect, and professionalism, the employee chose to escalate matters with an unnecessarily rude attitude. How employees treat people, whether they are paying customers or not, speaks volumes about the standards of a business. Nobody deserves to be treated with such disrespect simply for doing their job. I sincerely hope management reviews the footage and addresses this behavior. Professionalism, honesty, and basic human decency should never be optional in a customer-facing business.
