*I should've known better. I went there to have my slacks altered. Because it was only my first time here, I decided only to leave two pairs of suit pants just to try this place out. I explained that I needed my size 32/30 let out a little and had to ask the woman if she was going to measure me to be sure to get the alterations right. *I should've known better. She eventually did measure my waist and promised to have the pants ready on Monday.
I called during my drive home from work on Monday to make sure the pants were ready and to let the her I was on my way. She took my ticket number and said yes come on. Minutes later she calls me back and says the pants are not ready and to come tomorrow. *I should've known better.
I called the next day during my commute from work to ask if the pants were ready and to let her know that I was on my way. I arrive, she gets the pants and asks for payment. I pay thinking how excited I am to finally be able to wear these pants and suit again. *I should've known better.
As I begin to walk towards the exit door my gut says I should try the pants on before I leave. I turned around and asked if there was anywhere I could try them on. There was a curtained fitting room off to the side. Neither of the two pairs fit. It was like nothing had been altered. I could see where there were alterations but they still did not fit as expected. Had the proper attention been given I assume this would not have happened. *I should've known better.
I asked if she would measure appropriately to produce better fitting pants. The additional adjustments would take too much time she cautioned and I'd have to pay again. In the end I decided not to leave my pants because I was not going to pay this place another cent considering there was never an ounce of concern nor an apology of any sort. I paid for pants that I still cannot wear after having them altered here.
I do not recommend this establishment for alterations. read more
