Cleaning Services was referred to me by a friend at Eagle Ridge in Gilroy. We first used them at my sister's rental property in San Jose. They did a good job, so I tried them out this week on my own home. They had a crew of 3 ladies who did a good job on what is called the "Initial Clean". I have scheduled them for a once a month clean because they were on time, polite, listened to my concerns, reasonably priced and seemed to get everything clean. They always answer the phone at their office, so I liked the professionalism in that. I have had items broken in the past, so listened to their managers advice to put away anything too fragile and sentimental. This was my first experience with Cleaning Services and I must say that I am very impressed! When they left my house it sparked and am ashamed to say that it has not been this clean for some time (due to working a full day and too tired to do it this thourough on the weekend) . Now if only I can get the same cleaning team back the next time and they do the same type of work then I will have to bump it up to 5-stars. They came and looked at my 1000 square foot home ( small), called me back to find out the measurements of my two large carpets then called me back a couple of days later. I asked them how much this would cost and she said $280.00 for initial cleaning and then $110.00 for carpets. I said, "so total would be about $390.00?" She said yes. I got a charge for $472.00. Their answer? "No cleaning is $360.00 and about $110.00 for carpets." I wrote everything down when I got quote. Always get a written quote...lesson learned. PS They did do a good job. By the way, I would have never, never paid almost $500.00 to get my house cleaned. read more

This is a terrible company all around. My contractor hired them to clean the house after an extensive remodel. They arrived with two cleaners and, needless to say, did an absolute terrible job. All of the window sills still had dirt and debris and the floors still had stuff caked on them (which I could remove if I put a little of elbow grease into it!). And, on top of that, I was paying thousands of dollars for this service! Someone came out and I walked them through many of the examples of where the work product was poor quality. She admitted it and agreed to send a crew back. A crew came back and spent very little time at the house and still did a terrible job! Ugh! I was on my hands and knees cleaning the floor myself after they left! And....here is the good part...they then charge me another nearly $1000 to re-clean the house that they didn't clean before and they STILL didn't get it clean. Ok, but the story is not over and it gets even better...I tell my contractor that while I willing to pay some part of the bill, this so-called cleaning service should not get the full amount (especially since I ended up doing most of the cleaning). Rather than engage in any dialogue, this company sues my contractor! Bottom line: I would only recommend if you want a superficial cleaning and an absolute shady company coming over to your house. Update: In response to your "details," it is highly unprofessional to post my personal information on a public forum...once again highlighting the unprofessional nature of your company! I am not going to engage in a debate with you. I was forced to clean my floors and windows myself because your cleaners could not get it done and you took thousands of dollars from me. They are my first cleaning service and I am so glad I found them. Efficient, trustworthy and dependable they make coming home WONDERFUL!

This "zero" rating (if it would be available instead of one) applies to the crew from Gilroy since they are the ones I've had to deal with. I don't know where to start so I'll start with the last contact I had to have with them on April 30, 2014. The company doesn't seem to mind if one of their reps lie to us and they take no responsibility for crews that come so late that we have to reschedule. They don't hesitate to charge a reschedule fee but when they change the date they come because they're late, they just expect you'll accept them and let them come another day. Each time the 3 woman team came there was always a big problem from the first time when they used un-diluted clorox that they threw in my natural stone shower causing such caustic fumes that I couldn't sleep in my bedroom for 3 nights, to using dirty water to wash my hardwood floors. When I showed their supervisor the tissue I just wet and swiped the floor with she asked me what I wanted to do about it. I told her she could send her crew back and take care of the floor with CLEAN water. Each time the team arrived later and later and I'm the last one on their schedule so the amount of time they spent or effort they put in was never the same as the first cleaning. The last time they were suppose to clean was today (according to their supervisor) since they arrived last week with only 15 minutes available left in the 1-4 time frame. I called their office to see how they wanted to handle this since I had given them advance notice that I had to be at the airport with my daughter and the team had to be out of my house on time. The supervisor said that she would cancel them & have them come this Thurs. Now her supervisor claims they never said that and they don't have time in their schedule. It comes down to who you want in your home and I certainly don't feel comfortable any longer having people who will lie to cover up what their staff tells you I think you're better off finding someone who is just a good worker and employing a person who needs the work. read more

I like this company a lot. They stepped in to clean up the mess of a situation left by another cleaning company that quit on the job after two hours (Peachie Clean in Gilroy is HORRIBLE so avoid them at all costs!!). Cleaning Services was on time, very professional and very accommodating given my emergency needs. Highly recommend this company. If you have blinds to be cleaned these are the people to call! In response to management stating they were unable to verify me as a costumer....It's BULL****. I called, complained, and never received any resolution, or even a call back! ... oh and to add after my last review I found when they cleaned my baseboards , the sprayed their solution on the board and it splashed on my paint which I then had to repaint! Hiring this company has been one the worst experiences I have ever had. I negotiated with Brandon over the phone for window cleaning services, specifically the tracts and sills. Brandon assured me the sills and tracts would be cleaned even if windows needed to be popped out to do so. When the workers showed up to do the work, they literally squeegeed my windows (one worker on the inside and one on the outside). There was no vacuum or window and/or screen removal for cleaning, as per the agreement. They were here for under an hour for 12 windows! I sent pics to Brandon of the filthy windows - they left bugs! Brandon expressed concern for like a second and made a few feeble attempts to get them back out, but after we couldn't set up a time, I gave up. Shortly after that, I received a bill for the full amount! Surely there was a mistake. No, No, No. They gave me a small discount and are now charging me with late fees and threatening collections. We only had a verbal agreement btw and no payment terms were even discussed, just price. Seriously unbelievable. As a company, I would be mortified at the job that was done. I either suck it up and pay or waste time going to small claims for a couple hundred dollars. Go elsewhere or do it yourself. Lesson learned. PS...we have hired and paid several local companies for house work as we just moved in and we needed things done. I just started bimonthly services with Cleaning Services, and I can already tell it's going to be a good relationship, which, any time you invite people into your home, you are entering into a relationship. The whole transaction so far has been really slick. The estimator accommodated my schedule, and met me at my home. The cost was reasonable, and I love being able to have the services charged to a credit card, so I don't have to worry about leaving a check every time. Requested pre-move in cleaning of new home. No written or verbal estimate was provided. Showed crew around home asking for specific things to be cleaned (cob webs, floors, inside cabinets, bathrooms), and when they would be done so I could come back and inspect (they said 9hrs). They were gone in less than 3 hrs, there was urine on one toilet, a cleaning towel in the garbage disposal, light covers thrown in trash and floors were filthy. Complained and it took a week for a supervisor to arrive only to suggest crew did everything as requested. When I refused to pay their invoice of $900 (extortion), they turned me over to a collection agency. read more

The cleaning ladies did a good job, about what I have seen with other home cleaners. Not amazing but not bad. The five star rating is for the guys who came in and steamed my carpets. I have to say that their carpet cleaners did an excellent job. They were very careful with my furniture and my home. They have cleaned the grout on my tile floor and done an amazing job. Just today, they came to clean our living room carpet and they removed pet stains I was convinced could never be removed. We have been using cleaning services for a few months now. I have been pleased with the job the team does, and the ranch always looks nice, and our guests always have nice rooms ready for their stay. If for any reason the cleaners can't gain access to a room, I get a voicemail while the cleaners are still at the property to see if I can unlock a door! Customer service is great. However, what separates a good organization from a great one is how they deal with the unforeseen. We had a slight accident at our property. No none was hurt, and it was just an accident.
