The staff has always been friendly, even if a little busy at times. The store itself is awesome for its location. They have beer, lottery, groceries, some hardware, toys, movie rentals, dairy products, a fantastic deli with fresh meats, snowmobile oil & plugs, ORV & snowmobile trail stickers, grill steaks, knick-knacks, propane exchange, snowmobile parking (large lot!), and of course, fuel pumps. The gas isn't BP anymore, but we have never had any problems with the fuel in our cars, boats, motorcycles, ATV's and snowmobiles. They also have good local information on the trails & weather. The 'best kept secret' is their deli sandwiches. They are the best! We, my family & I, are big fans of The Bristol Store!

You know, kids have it hard enough these days but when you add in ANY type of illness it just makes it that much worse! So I'm hoping to make a beautiful and tasty cake for this young lady turning 13, whose friends regularly eat sugar filled cake. Of course Meijer doesn't sell these cakes and I'm not a professional baker but if I were I would certainly try to accommodate my customers if I didn't carry something they needed. Long story semi short... you can't SELL a cake board and plastic cover to a customer who is making something you don't? Really? First off way to fail at customer service! Second, I HATE Walmart but at least I can buy a plastic/cardboard cake plate from them!! Update: Meijer contacted me and apologized for this encounter. They stated normally they would not sell their supplies but in certain cases a team lead should be consulted. He stated in this case they would have sold me one cake board and dome. I really appreciate that they did this and they also stated they would bring this up with the staff working that day to clarify. In either case, I still made this girls cake and it turned out great!

They also have ice cream and hot food deli. There is a beer cave and a beer aisle, plus wine. Other than fresh produce, this store has pretty much everything. If you're camping here or passing through, come here. Our firewood bundles were huge, the IPA was juicy, and the staff were friendly. Here you find a nondescript name, and an awesome oasis.

They do however have frozen meats, chicken, fish, frozen dinners, bacons, lunch meat, smoked sausages, hot dogs...name brandsbreakfast sausage, baking goods and seasoning and spices...DRY GOODS, pasta, rice, cake mixes, candy, breads, hot dog buns, burger buns, chips, canned goods, soup mixes, cereals,salad dressings, mayo, oil, etc.They have DOG and Cat foods(not all, just some) Bird seed, Household cleaners) EVERY day is "different". It is often very busy especially during summer months and so the prices tend to stay about the same. Staff is always friendly. When ever I've gone in there they go out of their way to help you and make sure that you feel like you're part of their family. The minute you walk in you're going to be hungry, even if you just ate. The house smoked and cured meats can literally be smelled in the parking lot. DGS has everything from local North Michigan specialities to fresh produce and an array of MI butchery products. The star of the show however is all their house made meats... Sausages, brats, jerky, etc., DSG has it all. Plus the staff is super friendly and helpful... Some of the friendliest people we've met in a while. When we're in the Cadillac area again, we will no doubt make a point to get back to DGS to stock up... Two thumbs up.

However, he straight up lied about being the head manager of the store and was nobody else who could help me. Truth is a friend of Adam's named Chris, who is the head manager. He also has a bad attitude and only helped out by me making a formal complaint to corporate. They spoke to Chris and sent the case number to him. Less the 5 minutes later, he called me and said they would send me the 3 pills I was shorted. I was told I could no longer get my Rx in Cadallic and Ludington. I called Ludington to find out that was false as well. I'm just letting you all know the truth about Adam as a pharmacist. He lies, gives out broken pill and powder. Then tell you that you did it,because he can guarantee it. Just keep your eyes on him at work. He is always busy talking to anyone who is there, but customers.
