Adam is extremely rude, calls you a liar when you call in, and explains that your pills are broken and powder in the bottle. He is the head pharmacist in Cadallic. However, he straight up lied about being the head manager of the store and was nobody else who could help me. Truth is a friend of Adam's named Chris, who is the head manager. He also has a bad attitude and only helped out by me making a formal complaint to corporate. They spoke to Chris and sent the case number to him. Less the 5 minutes later, he called me and said they would send me the 3 pills I was shorted. I was told I could no longer get my Rx in Cadallic and Ludington. I called Ludington to find out that was false as well. I'm just letting you all know the truth about Adam as a pharmacist. He lies, gives out broken pill and powder. Then tell you that you did it,because he can guarantee it. Just keep your eyes on him at work. He is always busy talking to anyone who is there, but customers. read more

Just figuring out how these places really make their money. The last month shopping I have had several items I paid for not placed in my bags. This is on different shopping days. So in the end what happens to these products? They more then likely get placed back on the shelf to sell again. This makes me sad and loss of my money. All these specials - but like on 7 for 7, if you pick up the "wrong" can of tomatoes because the signage is not clear..........you have ended up paying 3 times as much for the six items that should have been a dollar. If you go for these "deals" you should absolutely use their app where you can scan everything before you get to checkout. Last 3 times I have been there I have lost $$, because you can't pay attention to prices during check out cause your still putting items on belt and some discounts don't happen until the end of the order. So aggravating and COSTLY. This last trip cost me an extra $5.93, which is average...think I would have learned my lesson by now. This is why I buy most stuff at Walmart, unfortunately I prefer produce from Meijer, so I end up thinking I can save with their "deals". HA read more

Always see friendly faces on employees when I'm here, the same sweet old lady at the door most times to great you on your way through the 2nd set of doors. They have just about anything Walmart has and cheaper besides a few select items I'd say that confidently 100% of the time. It's gets busy like any huge chain store does but never really slows down to bad there's been a couple times where we've had to wait long in line to checkout but generally doesn't happen often at all. I've been to a lot of stores but never one quite like it and one employee stuck out to my mom in particular the last visit. There was an item we couldn't find and we had been looking all over and we saw an employee "Gary from dairy" in the dairy section so I went and asked and he didn't just point like most would or say the isle he personally took us to it and grabbed it for us. I talked to him briefly on the way there because it wasn't far and he politely said he'd love to chat but had to get back to work. This is a perfect representation of their service and it's good. Beautiful store as well they are making many changes recently remodeling lots every time I go in it seems like they have done something new. Very nice place to go shopping. read more

This Meijer is amazing! Open 24 hrs which was super convenient and they have a giant food section with everything you could possibly need at great prices. Seemed to be the local late night hangout which was a bit odd tho, a lot of boys cruising around in big trucks together.... it's a store parking lot lol. The staff in every aisle offered to assist us in finding whatever we needed although we were mainly just browsing for supplies while on vaca. Overall this place is great! Great options, great prices and a friendly staff! Definitely prefer this place over poorly ran Walmarts or smaller overpriced grocery stores. Thanks for a great experience Meijer of Cadillac, MI. My son's go-to grocery store in Cadillac. I visit him often. He always shops here over the nearby Walmart, and I agree with him. I like Meijer a lot. Nice produce area. Nice selection of grab-and-go food that's ready to eat. Helpful staff. There are too many self-service checkout registers. Those serve only to make me realize I would not cut it as a cashier. We tried the curbside pickup at the Cadillac store for the first time. It was a horrible experience. We called when we arrived and were told it was still being worked. 45 minutes later - nothing. We called again and were told it's still being worked and because it's an automated system they can't tell us when it will be ready. There have been no deliveries to any of the three vehicles waiting for the past 40 minutes. We're not doing this again and for sure will shop elsewhere. read more

Without a doubt the worst time here. 6 can/plastic bins full both glass bins full, 14 carts ahead of me and only one person trying to work in the back. STORE MANAGER, it should be all hands on deck. Time is at 18 minutes and counting to even start placing bottles in. read more

If you are into cooking, Meijer may not be the best place to go. I recently pulled together four recipes which required ingredients that aren't exotic or anything, it just seems like they don't stock anything other than the basics. Even their "foreign food" isle is lacking. I have had to ditch several attempted dishes simply because I can't find what the recipe calls for in their store. Very bland choices. Also, the fruits and vegetable choices in the winter and spring are horrible. It tastes like the fruits and veggies were frozen then unfrozen and put on the shelf. The quality of their fruit and vegetables peaks in summer and fall then it is crap. I have tried to buy avocados there several times. Every time I look for them, they are almost rotted. It is sad really because I know that grocery chains tend to leave the lower quality food stuffs for poorer communities. I don't think that you would find such poor quality of fruits and veggies in TC or another big city. But this is Cadillac. The one thing I do like about Meijer is that you can get household items and even clothes and shoes if you wanted. It is kind of like Wal Mart just smaller and cleaner. What this place needs is healthy competition from another large chain. Meijer has the monopoly on Cadillac. It would be nice to see a different chain come to town. But for now, I have to keep going to Meijer because that is all we have. read more

I've lived in town for 6 years and I'm continually impressed by the staff and their offerings. Look, grocery store stocking and work can't be all that fun but the friendly faces at Meijer are seriously amazing.
