Specialties
LusTea is proud to bring a luxurious new gourmet tea to the Bay Area. Always blended in small batches with organic herbs and produce, we carefully craft each flavor. While all of our teas are excellent when enjoyed hot, many have also been designed for refreshing iced tea and our signature LusTea cocktails.
In addition to adding a little flavor to the bay, LusTea is resurrecting the tea party in fun and exciting new ways. Birthday and engagement parties, bridal and baby showers, corporate or promotional events, and even class reunions make the perfect excuse for a tea party. Ladies or co-ed, we have a design that will wow your guests. Frilly English afternoon teas, exotic "Mad Hatter" type teas, and sexy bohemian teas are just a few examples of how we can make your next event...amazing.
Between our core blends for every occasion and our rotating seasonal blends, we are confident that everyone will find a flavor to tantalize their taste buds.
Black or green, hot or cold, nothing will lift your spirits and sooth your soul like a cup of LusTea.
History
Established in 2014.
In October of 2014, I launched LusTea into my local community with the help of a few local visionaries (Coffee Tea Superstore and Eddie Papa's Restaurant) willing to take a chance on a fledgling brand like mine. In spring of 2015, LusTea officially added tea parties to our offerings. While Queenly English teas and garden parties are a must in any tea party host's repertoire, LusTea has set itself apart with our unique and hugely popular Bohemian Tea, complete with your own personal gypsy to serve you and your guests.
Meet the Business Owner: Christine L.
I began drinking tea with my parents at a very young age. Many Sunday dinners drew to a close with the family sitting around Grandma's table sipping tea and listening to stories about our family and it's heritage. One of my favorite stories was always about how Muzzy, a great, great Grandmother, read my Grandmother's tea leaves and foretold her marriage.
I began reading tea leaves after high school and eventually began hosting Gypsy Tea parties for friends and family. In an effort to satiate my own pallet and find a tea blend which would provide the best readings, I began blending my own teas.
