Had a great weekend here with my wife and two kids (11 and 8). Three different pools to play in and lots of fun activities on the lake. Great food (had eggs Benedict one morning and it was fantastic and Philly Cheesesteak with fries for dinner which was also great). They said they make the fries in house and they were really good. Had a bloody Mary one morning with breakfast and it was prepared really well. Despite it being really hot the weekend we were there, the AC kept the room very cool and comfortable. We had the most beautiful wedding weekend we could have ever imagined for our daughter! From booking the whole resort for the weekend to the final brunch on Sunday, everything was spectacular! We had the rehearsal dinner of a taco bar fiesta that was delicious, bridal brunch for bridesmaids during hair and makeup, grooms lunch of burgers by the pool, charcuterie cocktail hour on the beach & then the reception of our daughters dreams!! It was beautiful, the food was delicious, the service was superb & every detail was taken care of for us! I know I am gushing but this was my only child's wedding and we wanted perfection and that is exactly what we got! We didn't stay or eat here, but dropped by to check it out. A pretty neat place. A few cabins and some really great rooms facing the lake. The pool is right on the lake. A dock you could fish off of if you so desired. Nice air conditioned restaurant with huge windows facing the lake. Definitely a place worth checking out for a stay at the lake. Nov 2019 - NEW CHEF, Serge Devesa! He is a FRENCH executive chef?! No wonder our breakfast was out of this world! When I saw we had clarified butter and a knot in the lemon peel, I knew something was up. When he came out to see if were pleased, I saw his chef jacket embroidered with his French school, heard his French accent... I suddenly loved my visits to PK even more! Great food on the lake. If you boat up, bring your bumpers, it can be rough when at the dock because they don't have a breakwater. The only way to improve is by adding a breakwater! These guys do great work and have delicious food and drink. read more

What a great place. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Beautiful piece of paradise out here in the wilds. 3 pools to swim in. Really enjoyed knocking back one of their specialty cocktails while sitting in the lakeside pool. Great menu in the bar so didn't even have to leave. Keep the cocktails coming (wink-wink). They do have a dock, and you can charter a boat to go out for a tour of the lake. We did and it was awesome. We are here a little short of season so we had the lake to ourselves. They have a range of different spaces to stay in from a king room all the way up to a 4 bedroom house. So they can accommodate all sizes of groups. Miss G and Bo (owners) made us feel like family we can't wait to return. Looks like we found our new family lake vaca spot. So come check them out. read more

We heard they had a new French Chef from NY so we thought we would try it for dinner. Very disappointing!!! A young waitress who had no desire to be working that day. We ordered wine and it was $12/glass for a house wine. Higher than most places around PK for house wine There was only about 5 items on a one page menu that included an all day menu. Waitress was still clueless! Needless to say we walked out!!! read more

Perfect in every way! We stayed in the hotel in a king size room- gorgeous with modern design, full kitchen and full lake view. We went during spring break and our son loved the heated pool overlooking the lake! He played on the "beach" while we enjoyed cocktails poolside. The owners and staff are the best and we felt like family by the time we left. Restaurant/bar overlooks the lake with just enough menu choices for both adults and kids that everything is really, really delicious! We can not recommend Lush Resort enough! read more

Giving a first glance review. Decided to take a drive about 20 miles out to view the areas around PK Lake and stumbled upon Lush Resort. Having traveled internationally for years with our company I've become extremely selective having stayed in 5 star executive properties all over the world! I am pleasantly surprised to find this little jewel (I so miss Willows Lodge in Woodenville WA where I'm from) ... anyway, the wait staff welcomed us as soon as we stepped in the door of the waterfront bar/restaurant and the owner quickly greeted us and followed up by having us tour one of their rooms which were very nice. The one we looked at was a bottom floor, yet still very nice with lakefront view and had a euro look and feel. Having a cocktail now and look forward to staying soon, trying out the spa and lakefront pool. Will give another review at that time so far... first glance..5 star! read more

This place is the cutest place i have been in a while! The owners are so so sweet and amazingly accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met and even personally escorted us to our rooms. The on-site bar and grill is so delicious and the service was impeccable. The rooms were spotless and had so many thoughtful touches. The pool area is beautiful and very clean. Would love to come back for a second visit. This place is sooooo worth it!! read more

Lush Resort has done it again! As if the fabulous pool, courtesy dock and hopping bar with frequent live music wasn't enough, they've gone and built a boutique hotel ground up. The all suite hotel (there are 6 suites) ALL feature a full wall of windows directly over the water, with a wide balcony to relax with a glass of wine, or perhaps a meal from your full kitchen. The style is fresh and breezy - the vibe is clean and spacious. This might be the most comfortable bed ever! I stayed with a 4 year old and because this is a true suite I was able to put him to bed and close off the bedroom and still entertain in the spacious living area. Also, as parents traveling with kids it can be difficult to socialize in the evening once they're in bed but this layout makes it easy to continue to enjoy the lake on your balcony or in the living room once the kiddos are down. We loved our stay at Lush and can't wait for our next visit! read more

I had a phenomenal massage via the spa and fhe pool overlooking the lake is gorgeous. This place is great for a weekend ladies retreat. Horrible experience. Waitress forgot we were dining. Shrimp tacos and a burger took over an hour to get. Never again!

Everything was fantastic, from the business, to the amenities, but one employee that works in the bar who is red headed, was extremely rude, threw my food on the table and did not ask for a refill on drinks one time and barely even came back to the table. The entire resort would be a 10/10 without that one worker. I recommend letting her go to improve the entire establishment! Once again the red headed girl who works in the bar. We have a home on PK lake and really love this place. Some of the best burgers anywhere and the beer is always cold and served with a huge smile. The manager is always there, takes orders, delivers beer, sweeps spilled items, just anything that needs doing, he does it. Super nice guy. Great location and wonderful views of the lake. Can even take your dog in and not worry. The clientèle are very laid back and there to just have a great burger, cold beer and enjoy the company. read more

Lighten up, be consistent with ALL guests, train every staff member the same and don't have younger staff manage issues Beautiful place! Cannot deny the eye catching colors and cleanliness of the pools, bungalows, etc. A handful of pleasant & helpful staff members BUT then some that REALLY need some work. The college age kid who checked us in POINTED to where We needed to go for our stay from the main office window. A sweet older lady came down after she noticed another guest helping us unload our car. She was upset no one had walked us down to take care of us & check that everything was in order for us. Thank you sweet lady! We were asked MULTIPLE times over the next day and a half WHAT was in our yeti-type cups (policy is no outside drinks by the pool), WHERE our bracelets were (it's a small place, you've seen us for a day now-what does it matter) and HOW many guests were staying in our place(we had Some day visitors that had already paid) I don't mind a manager asking BUT don't send your barely-over-18 year old employees to continually harass and boss people around. They even went as far to lean over our enclosed area during our dinner and asked if everyone was staying the night or had bought day passes (which were listed as $10/day and they charged us $20/day). They did NOT question EVEN ONCE the drunk lady that was smoking and drinking in the pool later that day.She was in her clothes and DIDNT HAVE HER BRACELET ON!!! This place wants to nickel & dime you for EVERY. LITTLE.THING! Their drinks are expensive and DELIBERATELY watered down. We didn't even try the food bcuz we brought a ton of our own. If you have an extra guest in a room that will easily fit another person you get to pay $50 extra/night. It's not enough that you pay $350/night. So long story short...perfect for a chill, family getaway if you can afford it, BUT ABSOLUTELY NOT for a fun weekend with friends to let loose a bit. So sad bcuz we were so excited upon arrival. read more
