Hi, my name is Tania and I'm a Lush addict. I'm longing for the days of pre-Covid shopping because I could honestly spend hours here. Their products are all amazingly great and also smell heavenly. Their shampoo bars are the easiest thing to use when travelling and they work really well. I highly recommend you try literally everything but if you're not wealthy like me, you'll have to go a little at a time. My kids love the bath bombs and their cute little seasonal items. Their Sleepy line is wonderfully soothing and great for a bath/shower before bed. My kids had their birthday party here last year and since this year it wasn't possible I'm posting these pics for nostalgia's sake. When the parties start up again I highly recommend them. You pay a "deposit" for a certain amount of party participants, you could hold your party before or after the store closes and it becomes this amazing and unique private event. Our guests still rave about it. The party entails some fun with products, making bath bombs (which you get to take home) we were also allowed to bring in food to eat. The 2 hours went by really fast but it was so much fun. At the end of the party you get your deposit back in the form of gift cards for your guests and yourself in whatever denomination you choose. I spend a lot of money at this location and typically receive good service but this gal Dominique working today was absolutely hostile and rude. When I walked in the store was empty and she was leaning over the counter on her phone, not even looking up. She asked me to wear a mask and as I pulled it out of my pocket I apparently wasn't moving fast enough for her, because she snapped at me to put it on my face one second after I took it out of my pocket. She also demanded that I wash my hands before touching anything. I left without buying anything because she was so angry it seemed she just wanted to make customers uncomfortable so she could get back to her business on her phone. I am a frequent Lush shopper and I went into the actual store vs online because I wanted to get some samples of new products as my skin has gotten used to my normal routine and is not a responsive as it was before. My friend and I were greeted right away by an employee whom I explained my situation to but I let him know that I would find him after I did a circle around the store first. I wanted to look at some bath bombs first. Big mistake as I did not see this gentleman again. There was one other employee in the store and he was working behind the register assisting guests with their purchases. when it came time for me to talk to an employee, nobody was anywhere to be found except for the man behind the counter. I let him know that I needed to talk to someone and he assured me that he was going to call someone to the floor. The store had a steady pace of customers but it wasn't what I would consider "busy". I waited near the fresh face masks for almost fifteen minutes and nobody showed up. I asked the man behind the counter if someone was coming and he let me know that the person that was supposed to help me was working on inventory in the back? Another ten minutes went by and I put my items back on the shelf and left due to no service. 2 stars because the store was super clean and in order and for the man behind the counter who seemed like he really was concerned about helping me, I am sure he would have if he wasn't ringing people up. read more

I went to lush about a week ago with my family and the staff was very friendly! I wish I got the woman's name that helped find the products that best fit my family's needs. She has brunette hair with blonde ends, she's so funny and friendly! I also love how this company is more inclusive by hiring staff that's part of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities! After stopping at Ontario Mills, we decided to head to Victoria Gardens to check out what Lush had to offer. When we walked in it wasn't too busy so we were able to walk around and smell and touch and enjoy everything that they have to offer. Kayla was amazing! She was beyond helpful and accommodating, even though it took my husband forever to choose what he wanted, she assisted when asked and didn't make us feel pressured at all. We probably would've left without buying anything if it wasn't for her and all the information that she provided. I came in one day (few weeks ago maybe) for one thing and ended up buying a lot of things because of Neptune. I was impressed with her knowledge about the product. She spoke with confidence, had me sold on everything she showed me and omg she had the cutest green head wrap with these unique glasses and eye makeup. I don't normally like doing reviews , but I am appalled at the service I received. I will not be coming here anymore, I took a long drive just to come to this store because I had a wonderful interaction with another young lady but I guess I'll go to another location . I was rudely greeted at the door. I guess the mandate was reinforced again and the girl demanded I put a mask on and sanitize before even asking how am I doing. I have been to other Lush stores out in the LA & Santa Monica area because I used to live there and they are usually a little more spacious. This location in particular is a bit smaller than their other stores so it's harder to get into if you have a stroller. So back to my review.. i would love to give 5 stars to Netia (i think that's how you spell it). She was soooo helpful! I came walking in pushing my bulky 2 seater stroller with my toddler and 4 year old child and she was so ever patient with me and my kids. They were fussy and just crazy but she told me to stay in one spot and she kept coming back and forth to me offering me products and showing me what they have. That right there is amazing customer service! Not a lot of people would do that but she put in the time and effort to make sure I walked out with what I wanted. I went on Valentine's Day with my friends and VG in general was uncomfortably crowded however the store itself gave only max amount of 10 customers I believe ? in the store. I had no problem waiting bc I want to be comfortable shopping. I haven't been to lush in years and Alicia was so nice and welcoming. I was trying to find this copper mask that I used to get but they discontinued and she offered me another product which PSA if your a healthcare worker and have dry hands bc of constant sanitizer and hand washing I highly suggest the charity pot lotion it's so soft and moisturizing, I wouldn't have found it without Alicia's recommendation :) read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this store but.... HATE HATE HATE shopping here when it's terribly busy & overcrowded, which is usually most of the time (so beware). It's very hard to move around, test products, talk to the workers when it's so busy & overcrowded because the store is on the small side with lots of tables & displays all over, but don't get me wrong, It's a nice store!!! I don't know about you, but I get claustrophobic and nervous when in a tight space with tons of people pushing & shoving. I bare it because I LOVE their products and I try to be as quick as possible, by searching the website before hand and finding what I need/want. Sometimes you just have to grin & bare it for the things you love! I've always gotten awesome customer service here, everyone is super friendly and helpful and they all seem very knowledgeable about their products and can answer questions about the ingredients and what it's used for. For somebody who has an extreme skin condition this is very helpful. I have severe Psoriasis, and I usually get a lot of stares and maltreatment because of it and the way it looks, people won't touch me or want to be near me thinking it's contagious. I have to say I've never felt like that's happened here! They are very accepting and caring and aren't afraid of my skin! I've even had one person use a shower smoothie wash on my arm and washed it off and put lotion on it over my psoriasis and she didn't even flinch. I appreciate that because there's nothing wrong with me or contagious about my skin condition. TIP - I love that they give you a free sample, if you ask kindly and say "PLEASE", and they don't get butt hurt if you don't buy the product they just took time to explain to you about. With my sensitive skin, I can't just use everything, so allowing me to sample a product first before spending all that money, is such a life saver. BIG TIP for sensitive skin, try the Dream Wash Shower Smoothie & the Dream Cream Lotion. I also use the Ro's Argan Body Conditioner (Conditioner for your body, just like you use for hair!) after the Dream Wash. It smells divine and makes your skin buttery smooth and very moisturizing. These products are made for sensitive skin, they are very very soothing, calming, and moisturizing!!! It has been a blessing for my skin. It's expensive product (most of LUSH is), but it's worth every penny to help rid me of pain and suffering with dry, itchy cracked skin. Most of Lush's products I've used, I've been very impressed with. They work so much better than commercial store brands! They are all organic & sometimes vegan products, paraben & sulfate free, and they offer some self-preserving items as well. They try to use natural preserving ingredients as well. They have stuff for hair, body, face, feet, lips & teeth. This place blows Bath & Body works out of the water!!! They tend to be very busy & sometimes sold out of items but they restock on Thursdays!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LUSH and this store is awesome!! read more

Finally finally finally I no longer have to drive to Anaheim. This store is great. I have been buying Lush for 9 years now. Like natural products or dabble with essential oils/natural remedies for skin issues (tea tree oil, lavender, etc)? Need a great facial for $5 that's better & more effective than what they will give you at Aveda spas? Love to smell clean and soft as opposed to harsh dept store perfume? Enjoy taking a fun bath? Are you concerned with buying from a company that shows with their practices they care about the environment, not using petrochemicals, no animal testing, giving to charity? You have found a great store to shop at. Sometimes the salespeople here can be overly pushy. Especially if the manager is in. I find myself overwhelmed by more than 2 people asking what I am there to get and suggesting products. I get that they are trying to be friendly and I really appreciate that! I hate stores like Sephora where everyone ignores you or acts like you are beneath them. But at times it can feel intimidating. I have social anxiety though so you may not be bothered or scared at all. I had a sensitivity issue to an item I bought and they allowed me to exchange and were super helpful and chill about it. The manager was very kind. I appreciated that. Make sure you try the following products: -Best thing here is the Fresh Face Mask facials. Kept in a tint fridge on the floor on the left side as you come in. So many different kinds. You can ask to test them. Try them and see how they feel. You will be happy. My favorite is Brazened Honey. It works wonders on my oily areas, dry areas, & acne. Exfoliates gently & my skin is so soft afterwards. For oilier skin try Mask of Magnaminty or Cupcake (chocolate mint), these are especially refreshing in summer. For combo to dry try Catastrophe Cosmetic (blueberry). My mom likes Love Lettuce for her dry skin. If you bring in 5 of the black pots they use to store these products, you get a free fresh face mask. LOVE it. Please remember that these must be refrigerated and used by exp date. Sometimes the caps are loose and they leak a little moisture or honey goo in my bag. I recommend tightening the caps & placing in a baggie from home right when you buy them. Get them on ice right away! (I use my kid's lunch box & ice pack!) -If you are not a kid, and don't relish scrubbing glitter out of your tub, skip the bath bombs, which I find too drying. Go for the bath melts and "bath-a-roons." I recommend Floating Island and Yuzu Cocoa. Bring plastic baggies for these. They always melt a little in my bag and this company is trying to reduce unnecessary packaging so they are not individually wrapped. -Fresh Farmacy, Angels on Bare Skin, and Aqua Marina are all great to wash combination to oily skin with. Angels is most moisturizing. Tea Tree Water toner for oily, Rose Water for combination to dry. Put your toner in the fridge. Tea Tree spray in the fridge is also great during summer for when you're feeling hot, tired, sweaty, or even stinky pits (tea tree is a natural deodorizer & antibacterial) -The bar soaps smell great in the store but the scent does not last long if kept as a large bar in the shower. Cut a piece off & keep the rest dry in an airtight bag. It's best used as a soap bar by the sink to scent your bathroom & look fancypants really. I think the shower gels are a better buy. -If your hair is frizzy and unhappy, especially from summertime heat & pool water, try the H'Suan Wen Hua hair mask. Works well! -The beeswax solid perfumes are lovely. They last all day without being overpowering. I like Vanillary and Sikkim Girls (although I found I was sensitive to the jasmine in that unfortunately). Imogen Rose and Breath of God are next on my list. -Charity Pot lotion is $5 and smells sexy like orchids/lilies. The proceeds go to really nice charities pictured on the lid, such as an orangutan rescue in Sumatra or a group home for abused women in India. Pick a few out for your friends & relatives and help somebody with your purchase! -Try their cloth gift wraps! Always have pretty ones in stock. -Smell their products for MEN. Hey, guys who want to look & smell great, you have hit the jackpot. Smells natural and sexy, unlike the Axe type stuff that smells like body stink and old man cologne. Better for your skin & the earth too! People will fall all over you when you use their shower gel or skin care. read more

UM WORK ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS YOU CLOWNS. Let me preemp this by saying I have been a hardcore lushie for many many years and annually spend over $300 dollars there EASILY. So when I heard a new location was moving to Victoria Gardens I was ALL about that. I signed up as a VIP and go up early on a Saturday just to be there for their grand opening. It seemed to go smoothly and I was happy with my products albeit the long wait to pay for them. Fast forward a few months and I decided to call them to ask about exchanging a product. I purchased a face cream back in December but it was at the Brea location. I moved since then and this store is closer so I took a shot. I've exchanged items at different locations before and NEVER experienced a problem. Basically my cream was separating and taking on a bit of a rancid smell (yikes). I did my best to store it in a cool dark place and it still had 4 months of life left according to the expiration date. Since I paid so much for it, I just wanted my moneys worth. I told her all of this and said I am not looking for any hand outs. If they could just give me half a tub (which was about how much was left) I would be thrilled. She said they absolutely could not because it had been over 2 weeks (or 3 I cant remember) and they don't do exchanges past that point (BS). Also because I had USED it, they couldn't take it back. UM. HELLO. NOT TRUE. ANY OF IT. Obviously whoever I spoke with just didnt have a clue. Either that or this particular Lush has gone rogue and decided they don't need to abide by any of the ethics and standards that make Lush great. Yea I don't need to shop in you, Lush of Victoria. I'll happily drive the extra 40 minutes to Brea where they totally respect the customers, especially those with completely legitimate requests. *By the way Brea exchanged my cream for a brand new one, no questions asked.* Get your act together. read more

The customer service was good. What they were greedy about was their samples. My best friend and I always grab a sample before we purchase anything from lush. Having heard about one of their most luxurious products: The Gorgeous Moisturizer ($87) we wanted to catch a sample before making such a large purchase. First of all, they told us that they were afraid we were taking advantage of the product. It's like it hurt them to give us a sample. After about 5 minutes they finally decided to give us a sample and when we looked it wasn't even HALF of the smallest tube they have.. Seriously???? ARE YOU EMPLOYEES GETTING THE MONEY TAKEN FROM YOUR PAYCHECK? I don't think so. How do you expect me to purchase a product if you won't give me a decent sample to try??? read more

This review is for their customer service. Wish I could give zero stars because honestly is there even ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've been to plenty of lush locations in the past and my favorite thing about lush is how welcomed they make you feel. I walk into this lush and no one greeted us or asked if we had any questions. I ask if I can try one of their items and they give me a chunk and just tell me to go wash and try the items myself. Well why are there so many people on staff if I can just walk around the store and try everything myself. Train your employees before you let them stand around on the floor!
