I'm glad I stuck around, though, because I love my set Tweet did my nails, I believe, and she was so reassuring and friendly! I felt confident with her doing my nails. She didn't allow for the nails to dry enough under the UV light and the nail polish crack off after a few days. I went back and didn't even ask for a refund, just a color change and explained what happened and the woman was extremely rude and tried to charge me so I left. First time I came in here, I was getting acrylics for the first time. The nail tech wasn't friendly at all and pushed my hands away expecting me to know everything that was going on. It's like they was annoyed with me because it was my first time. I came in for removal the second time. The nail tech was clearly rushing. A little friendlier but wanted to get it done quick. They just sanded the layer down and didn't soak my nails in acetone. Instead, they pulled the nails off right after sanding. Better off going somewhere else. read more

The pedicure was fine and nicely done. I had gotten the acrylic set put on here previously and it had came out to my liking. However, for the refill it was terrible. The acrylic nail was done more thick and they couldn't color match the acrylic color properly. There was a clear line where my old acrylic ended. Also, the entire time the nail tech was hurting my actual nail when she did the refill. When going back to the salon to ask them to correct it, the lady looked at me crazy and said she found nothing wrong the manicure. I became frustrated and asked them to just take off the entire set. They charged me $15 to take off the set, and the nail tech left acrylic STILL on my nail. Also, I had to go through another 40 minutes of torture as she destroyed my nails and hurt me in the process. I repeatedly told the nail tech she was hurting me. This place is absolutely terrible and had little to no concern on fixing the problem. I do not recommend this location unless you need a quick pedicure. read more

i thought this place was going to be good, but the lady that did my nails was very rude and rough. when she wanted my other hand she would smack my hand to let me know she wanted the other one. not to mention the length that i wanted made her mad. she said my nails were to short and tried to make me get my nails shorter than what i wanted. i asked for coffin and this is what i got. they are all different shapes and curved. and they aren't even the same size. i had to tell her more than once to paint the whole nail because she was rushing and wasn't getting the sides. i will never go there again it was terrible. i also had an appointment at 4:30 and didn't get taken until 5:30 read more

This nail salon is awful, they are very sloppy and rush with your nails and they never properly put a top coat on your nails. They are very inconsistent with their pricing, every time I go and they make up different prices when i get the same service every time. AWFUL. I called to make an appointment for a gel manicure yesterday as to not overwhelm the social distancing requirements. The woman who answered the phone at 1pm assured me that 5pm would be great. The website offered services open until 6pm. I arrived 15 minutes early, chose a color and waited until 5:20 to be taken back to the manicurist who was RUDE, RUSHED me even physically pushing my hand away into the UV light after she sloppily polished my nails. Completely uneven, no attention to detail. The manicure was poor at best. Halfway through what is supposed to be a calming spa manicure experience I was asked to "YOU PAY NOW MANAGER IS LEAVING" to which I said .... that's a little inconvenient I'm in the middle of a manicure I haven't even received yet. I couldn't wait to vacate this 'salon' at this point. While I'm finished, and paying cash as I was instructed to do because their 'machine was broken' I was overcharged for my manicure. Posted price for gel manicure in the salon and online is $25. I was charged $28. When I questioned this I was told she would 'call the owner' I threw her $30 cash and got outta that dump! DONT. Busy place. Waited a long time to get a mani pedi. The positive was they sat us in the pedicure chairs so we could soak our feet and use the massage chair while we waited. I went to this place twice since I got to Rowan. The manager is extremely rude, she's the little lady who just has an attitude problem for no reason at all. I got acrylics done and they were sooo sloppy. I went for the coffin shape btw. & i could tell that they were not on secure. When I went for a REFILL at a different salon, the nail tech there had to take off all of my nails because he said whoever did them did a poor job and they were barely on my nails. I will never ever ever ever go there again. Not even for my brows, because I went back for my brows and they did a sloppy job with that as well. Worst nail salon I've ever been to in my life. Wanted to start off the year nicely but nope! The man fucked up my nail color by trying different ones because they kept drying out! On top of that he has the nerve to cut my thumb and put alcohol on it afterwards??! The gel light barely worked and when he went to wipe them off at the end with alcohol the color came off with it! The owner, Rachel, is the ultimate professional and perfectionist. She runs the salon very efficiently and her employees seem to like working there and respect her. DO NOT GO! I had a horrible experience when I received a Brazilian wax. Not only was the hair removal not complete ( patches of hair everywhere) but I was burned and now I have patches of my skin falling off. I called to share my concerns and worries about the service I received and the man answering told me the manager was not interested I hearing my concerns and then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back a second time and again he said they are not interested and I am told him I am going to stop my payment and called the better business bureau and that this business is harming women with these procedures. He then hung up. In addition they over charged me since I was paying with a card. It now all makes sense. They provide bad and dangerous services and want you to pay cash so you can't dispute the charge. Please do not go to this business! I wish I had a better experience. read more

Where to begin...well I have been to this salon a handful of times. This salon is very close to my house and the pictures on Yelp lured me in. I went there for a full set and refills after. The first couple of times I had an okay experience. The nail techs I had were not very friendly but did an okay job on my nails. Then the third time I got a refill, a man did my nails. He made me bleed twice and one of my pinky nails was VERY crooked. When he was taking off the previous color he did not remove the color completely. I mentioned it and he was not pleased but tried to fix it. The next time I went for a refill and a different woman worked on my nails. My nails were a dark grey color and my refill was to go to a baby pink color. Well my nail tech did the same as the man I had had before and did not buff out the color enough because by the time I paid and got in my car I had grey patches underneath my pink color. It looked horrible. I showed the woman at the front desk who happened to be the manager. She was very upset that someone did this to my nails and she walked me around the entire nail salon showing all of the nail techs my nails. I was pretty embarrassed that she paraded me around the salon and I knew it made the nail techs upset. The manager redid my nails but my nail tech that did the job gave me a dirty look and after I got up to leave she said something under her breath to me. Been going here off and on for 2 years. Every time I go I remember why I haven't been in so long. I always get the same thing-acrylic fill with gel polish- and yet each time I go it is a different price. Not only that, but what typically takes me 45 minutes elsewhere has me here for over an hour. The polish is usually messed up after a week, the acrylic is not high quality, and overall my nails are all uneven. I am especially annoyed after my most recent visit having to be told over and over how I needed a new set, knowing I had just gotten one last month, I let her know I did not want one and she would not stop hounding me. OMG!! I can't believe how this salon nickle and dime you for every service they provide. Have you ever heard of charging you to shape your nails...what?? Did they think I was going to leave out of the salon without them shaping them...Then they charge you an additional charge of $5 to shape them. I never heard of such a thing. Then once they are complete and you are ready to pay...not before but at the time of completion they decide to tell you they do not accept credit cards and offer you their ATM with an additional $1.50 service charge. My nails look nice. My operator Lynn was lovely and did a fantastic job. Otherwise...I will not go back there again. I paid $85 for a basic pedicure and the UV Gel.
