actually horrible, i called ahead of time and asked how much for a regular pedicure and gel , regular 27 and gel 35 is what the lady told me i get there get a GEL PEDICURE im charged 54 dollers without even adding a tip on. I went there and the technician (a gentleman who didn't even tell me what his name was) brutalized me. Now I do not treat myself to this type of luxury, but my daughter treated me as part of my Mother's Day. I explained to the man that my ankles were tender due to a recent fall and he could care less. He just keep being very forceful so I left there very swollen and in pain. Next up on my manicure he cut my cuticles, which I later learned they are not supposed to do! It took me two weeks of swelling, peeling, bleeding and pain to heal. And the gel polish job was not great. In the salon's defense, the women who worked there seemed to be nice and attentive with their clients , sadly I just got a non caring nail tech. read more

I went there for Eyebrow waxing, they were busy but the young girl said they'll be right with you. ok no problem. after taking not 1 but 3 phone calls that came in, they finally took me back. she how I just clean up. without even looking. I said, if you are in a rush I'll wait for someone else I don't want my eyebrows messed up. she said no I just clean up they took to much here but I just clean up. again repeated if you are rushing please don't do it. well she did and I look when she is done, they are uneven, she took the top part of my right eyebrow off telling me it was that way, she just cleaned up. I'm looking telling her there uneven and you left a bunch, she's not understanding so I say forget it, I'm obviously walking out angry. She walks up to the owner, not once did the owner walk up to me to ask what had happened. Imediately just took her side as I was paying for my service I was disasti with. Then the young girl checking me out, goes I need to get change, I said forget it keep it. So I paid $20 for uneven eyebrows. Not a care from the owner!!!! Didn't get up once!!!! What's. I use to like this place Lashes Massage I went there today for a simple toe polish change I had red on Yes red is hard to remove but when I'm paying $17 get the red off!!! Don't polish my toes n leave ref in creases and on skin. So because I told her( Vivian) it didn't look good they charged me an extra $4 to re color they're friggin mistake ! I went in last minute to get a mani/pedi for my vacation. I've never been there before but live close by and saw it on occasion. It's a clean place with lots of color choices. It was the Thursday before a holiday and wasn't too busy when I arrived. I went with gel polish for both nails and feet and proceeded to go to the pedicure station first. Everything was sanitary as far as I could tell and I didn't feel uncomfortable (they also line their foot tubs). However I must say that the pedicure process was nothing special, if anything, it was lackluster. My technician didn't give me much of a massage, I had to tell her about my callous areas on the sides of my feet and when she did address them she barely did anything so I went home and took care of it afterwards. I was very happy with the color choice as it was very new to me and the technician was nice and complementary on it as well (although she was quiet throughout). Then the next morning I noticed some bubbles in a couple of my fingernails' polish. That was annoying but barely noticeable so I let it go. Then by Sunday the gel polish partially peeled away from one of my nails! I was floored. It had only been a few days! I was able to make it reasonably presentable and left it at that. Later that night I took a shower and was blow drying my hair and pieces of my hair were getting caught UNDER THE POLISH! I ended up (easily) peeling off ALL of my nail polish because I couldn't leave several nails with nothing. BTW my toes are looking fine. I'm not sure if the technician didn't prep my nails properly or maybe my nails alone (not acrylics) don't take the gel because of their specific makeup of keratin or whatever but needless to say I was disappointed. I am a local who LOVES this nail salon. The owner is super sweet, always makes sure you're taken care of and does FABULOUS nail designs and shapes. My only recommendation is some type of percentage off when you spend a certain amount. I put a lot of money out when I go here and I just wish it was more affordable. Not only Did they lie to me and told me that my husband had scheduled a pedicure on top of a manicure even though he didn't, they had charge me after both 75. I have been getting my nails done for years. I have been to several salons over the past years and A & D Nail Spa is the best nail spa in town. There are several people that I have referred that drive 40 minutes to get their nails, eye lashes, pedicures ect done. They hate to drive but it is worth it! This is the clean, friendly establishment. The owners are so fabulous and the staff is so creative and helpful. You would be a fool not to go to this NAIL SPA. Very relaxing environment. got my nails done on friday here as a first time costumer some of the staff is friendly while others are not so much... it is now tuesday and the polish which is gel has came off all nails and my nails have cracked several times because of how thin they are. if your looking for nice people it's a place too go but good work not so much. i am very disappointed and annoyed with my service. read more

I had a great experience here! The salon is right near my school RCGC so I decided to give it a try. When I walked in both ladies were eating lunch and asked for a few minutes to finish up which some people would find annoying, but I didn't mind. I got a UV gel manicure, and it's good; not perfect, but I'm happy with them. The lady who did my nails accidentally chipped a corner of one and instead of brushing it off and ignoring the issue, she stopped and fixed it. They're not too expensive which is definitely a plus. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is the cleanliness - the salon was clean, but could have been cleaner. Overall I had a good experience at A & D! read more

ZERO STARS. Anna is garbage at nails. I asked for a round shape and they're so uneven, I might as well have gone to a cosmetology school and let a student practice on me. The polish isn't even at all, you can clearly see streaks. Not sure if this is due to cheap product or poor technique. Anna was rude and abrasive during my entire appointment. She kept yanking at my fingers and sighing loudly, and at one point she was complaining about the polish smell because she had a headache. Sorry about your headache, Anna, but if I'm paying for a full gel set I'd like them done properly. I wish Anna would've just told me that she has no idea what she's doing, I could've saved $40 and an hour of my life..and i wouldn't have these ridiculously cheap looking nails on my fingers. I'll be going to NICE NAILS in WashingtonTwp to get them fixed, because A&D is the type of salon that would condone one of their employees giving you a staph infection over a grudge. At Nice Nails, it's spotlessly clean and no one has a stank attitude like Anna. Don't make my same mistake, you'll catch crabs at A&D Nails. UPDATE AS OF 1/18/2019: Anna has tasked her friends and family members with writing positive reviews on her services so that my HONEST review does not appear. You will see on yelp & google that these are 5 star glowing reviews from freshly created accounts that haven't reviewed anything else besides Anna's services at A&D. Anna, make it a little less obvious that you're a con artist and a fraud. Every single 5 star review since my original one in July, has been FAKE and they all mention YOU by name. I have a hard time believing that's a coincidence...especially when quite a few reviews mentioned you doing eyelash extensions for $30 when you told me the price was $60 and that you didn't perform that service. So I go to this salon because it's on my way home from work. The first time I went I was very happy with my gel manicure especially since it was $5.00 less then my normal salon. This time was the total opposite. While I went at 4:30 on a Tuesday afternoon, the place was packed as I sat and waited, I watched several pedicures taking place by several different techs. I was horrified to see them using a battery operated buffer on customers feet and just placing it back in the drawer!! I'm sorry if any skin comes in contact with a tool you need to sterilise or change that before you use on another person. that's a fungal infection waiting to happen. Onto my own service I wanted my gel colour removed. The women seemed annoyed I didn't want anything else. She took the polish off quickly and moved on. No buffing my nails so they weren't rough, they didn't even make sure all the polish was off!!! Not going back.. read more
