I see Vicki and she's amazing! I get acrylic and need my nails strong- and she always does exactly this without making them look heavy or unnatural. Her shapes are even and carefully done. My cuticles are perfect. Shes always been on point with designs and has helped pick the right colors for my skin tone. Compared to other local places, her prices are fair and the salon is clean and well kept. She NEVER rushes the job even if she's busy. 11/10 recommend her work. read more

Popped in here for a visit with my sister. We were both walk-ins and were seated right away! I had Wendy at the first table and my sister was seated right next to me. We both got manicures and the staff was great! They were friendly and had a lot of great colors. They had a student promotion so we took advantage of that. There were other promotions for non students too so I think we'll check those out next time. Will definitely be going back and would recommend for them for the customer service and prices. I would say to take the other reviews with a grain of salt because these people are amazing at what they do. read more

I got my acrylics refilled and paid extra for gel polish. I have never ever had polish peel off of my acrylics, however this time they were peeling within 2 days of getting them done. I arrive with plenty of time before the store closes, however I waited for so long that the tech was rushing to finish my nails before closing likely when they peeled this time. I will not be coming back. Prices are too high just for me to have to redo them at home anyway. read more

I would strongly advise against going to this nail salon. If you're driving past and see the special advertised in the window, don't let it draw you in. I had the absolute worse nail salon experience of my life. I am just getting home from it and had to review. Prior to having acrylics for two weeks, I have been a nail biter so my nails are First I needed my acrylic nails taken off. I'm in nursing school and only had them on for a wedding while I was on a break. It had been two weeks anyway, so it was time. She doesn't understand this despite me telling her three times and proceeds to cut them back to get ready to fill them until someone else finally explains them. She then YANKS off my acrylic nails. No soak, no warning, uses a tip to break the seal and WAM yanks them off. Holy heck it hurt, I literally almost cried. It drew blood on two finger nails and also pulled off part of one of my nails, I'll post a picture. She then proceeds with the manicure, doesn't even get the nail flat or remove all the glue remnants from the nail. Makes me pay for the service half way through the manicure. WHAT?! Whatever I pay for the manicure and also my eyebrows to be waxed (I'm wondering why in my head at this point). She paints my nails, unevenly and sends me to let them dry. She then forgets about me. As she was preparing a pedi tub for a new customer at least ten minutes later I stood up and asked, "are you still going to wax my eyebrows or can someone else or what?" She proceeds to giggle and apologize. Whatever. I'm so over it until I get to the car and look at my nails that still hurt and are so jagged. Then I look up to check out my eyebrows and STILL have cotton and wax stuck to my face!! I'm negatively amazed and mind blown at what just happened. read more

I came in today for a regular manicure. I waited a few minutes, but that was fine. A woman was doing my bails, I am not sure what her name is. She asked me if I wanted my nails filed or clipped, and I said I wanted them filed round. Well they are most certainly square. I'm not sure why every nail person tends to lean towards square, I find it makes them look so much shorter and the edges break easily. But that's fine, I'll get the round next time. She asks me if I want to pay, and I said yes so she said $12. I hand her $15 and she walks away. She comes back a minute later and says it will be $3 more because I got an expensive color, and I said that's fine. But she continued to stand there. I was like i have you enough, and she had to ask someone else for confirmation that it was in fact enough...... So she starts painting my nails. Does the base coat, color, then top coat. The top coat was really really thick, but whatever. At this point I'm not concerned. Then when she put down the bottle and told me to go to the dryer I realized she mixed up the top coat and base coat and now I'm annoyed. So I tell her and she gets really angry, starts yelling in another language and then all she does to fix the problem is put a layer of top coat on top. So now my nails are topcoat, polish, base coat and then top coat. I don't have time to ask her to redo it, so I just suck it up, and go to dry. Now that I've left, there are bubbles all over my nails and quite a few ripples on them. I will never go back there again. I can't believe I paid extra for this stupid polish. It's supposed to be extra shiny which is why it's more I guess. But they are dull and bubbly and I'm so displeased. read more

I went for a gel manicure and a color change on my toes. The crappy DND gel nail polish and the regular version they use didn't match at all. The girl doing them could care less because she was busy walking away, seemingly getting mad that the gel that I was having taken off wasn't coming off and answering and chatting on her phone. This place is not worth the discounts they offer. I now have to go get my hands and toes redone. Save your money, don't go. read more

I received a well written email from the business yesterday conserning my review. They assured me that they do not reuse anything and that they sanitize all their impliments. She asked if I would consider rewriting my review and in return I would receive a complimentary pedicure. As much as I appreciate the offer, I will be declining. She asked me to rewrite it because she is conserned it may draw negative attention from NJ Consumer Affairs and the Health Department. In my opinion, if you're not doing anything inappropriate than you shouldn't have anything to be conserned about. I'm sorry if my review offended you. But as someone that works in the beauty industry, I know proper sanitization sterilization procedures. You might want to double check and make sure you're employees are all on the same page. read more

Went in to get my eyebrows waxed, when I went to the back I had to pay on this uncomfortable bed thing. After the wax which didn't get hot enough to do the job the woman went at my eyebrows with tweezers, and spent more time using the tweezers then applying the wax and now my eyebrows are messed up and the one is curved and the other one looks okay... and they are short read more

Came here for the first time to get a quick gel pedicure. I had to wait a good 25 minutes to even get started. The atmosphere is ok, not great not awful. Cleanliness is meh there were a bunch of flies flying around in September! Also after they used the metal tools they went into a ziploc bag? How are they sanitized? Are they re used? Not only did I pay $50 to get a full set of nails, and tipped him well but three of my nails were broken within four days, one cutting my finger. Then when I went back to talk to them about the issue, they were nothing but rude to me. So I just asked him to take my nails off. Then he had the guts to charge me for taking the nails off, after everything he already did to me. Extremely discussed with the service myself and my two girls received. I got my eyebrows waxed and she waxed/ trim most of my left eyebrow off ! It is significantly thinner than the other and now I have to fill it In to match. My girls waited with their feet in the pedicure tubs for over 30 mins and their feet were wrinkled. I myself had to get the paint off my toes from the sloppy paint job I received. $95 dollars later, this place was more of a headache then a day of relaxation ! read more

A business's success is only as good as its customer service. Let me say that I've been going to this salon for years and have loved their pedicures. I only recently began getting manicures, using the new dip powder to be specific, because I heard those last longer and are healthier for your nails than the gel. I'd heard from a few people that they did a very nice job. I had my first dip done less than 2 weeks ago. I was excited as it looked wonderful, until about a week later. Cracks started to appear on several nails within a week. Then on the 11th day (yesterday), several nails started peeling off from the base, which caused what was left on my nails to catch on everything. I asked friends who've have the dip done and was told it should last way longer than that and I should go back to get them fixed. So I did. Told Phil, who did them originally, what had happened. He redid my nails, and then charged me full price!!! I was shocked! I was offered nothing for the major inconvenience of it lasting barely a week, as well as taking 2 hours out of my busy day to get them redone so that my nails didn't break any further or look horrendous! I was so disappointed in him! I know my going there is only a drop in the bucket to them, bit it's one drop they will not be getting again. I will find a new place to take my business. read more
