Due to closing issues, I had to push my move date Back 2 days. He said he'd be able to do it in the afternoon and that he would be there between 2:00 and 3:00pm depending on how the job before mine went. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, and they didn't get to me until 6:00pm. They wanted to push it to the next day but I insisted we had to do it that day because literally all of our stuff was packed and ready to go. I ordered one truck and two movers for our two bedroom, one bath duplex. My fiance and I did a lot of moving before they even arrived, essentially just leaving the furniture for them and some boxes. Their attitude seemed Brusque but it was probably because they were just tired from however many moves they had that day. They wrapped most of my furniture carefully with blankets, but I must say I was not pleased with the way that they moved my grandfather clock. The second mover, Alex, said "well this is fragile" when looking at my clock. I was like yes that's why I hired Movers. They didn't even know you had to take the pendulum out of the clock when moving it. They refused to take my very small TV off of the wall, and told me they would have to charge extra for that which I have never heard before. That was frustrating. They made a dent in my baseboard and scratched a lot of paint in my newly painted residence, and then gave me attitude when I asked when they were going to fix it. He then begrudgingly said that he would send somebody over Saturday to fix it. That guy was nice and did an okay job. They worked very hard but I think it would have gone faster with three movers. It would have been nice to have a discount since they were over 3 hours late also. I'm not sure if I would use them again, but I'm glad that we are finally in our new place with the damage fixed (aside from the clock).

When I unpacked my TV last Sunday, I noticed it didn't have corner protectors, which raised some concerns. First, they claimed it had been over a week and that my TV was protected with corner guards. This is completely untrue, as I personally unpacked and installed the TV on the wall, and there were no corner protectors whatsoever. When I pointed this out, they changed their story, saying they were confused because they handle thousands of TVs every week, and those usually have protectors. My question is: why didn't mine have them, and why is my TV now damaged? This lack of responsibility and professionalism is unacceptable. I strongly advise against using Alex Moving for your moving needs.

When I spoke to Andrew the guy I made the deal with. He wanted to keep punching to continue the move even though the building Im moving to and from has a cut off time. He basically wanted to keep my stuff in the truck for the weekend, I guess. I asked him to leave and had to pay for the hours they spent wasting. They're completely unprofessional and just want to collect the money. I give a star because can't give less.

They showed up in a small Uhaul truck. 4. The movers were SLOW. 5. We missed our elevator reservation time to our new building, and almost had to cancel our trip the next day. 6. The truck was too small so they had to make multiple trips. 7. They left all of our belongings in the hallway of our new building because they made multiple trips. And I was left moving our belongings into the new apartment by myself. 8. They didn't bring enough packing materials and DAMAGED our furniture. They said I could file a claim, more on that later. 9. The day took 13 hours, instead of 5, and they demanded we pay the full amount. 10. THEY DO NOT HAVE REAL MOVING INSURANCE. I emailed the insurance company they gave me anywayrelocation@insurer.com and that domain name does not exist. 11. They are now avoiding my calls about the insurance. I will be reporting this scam of a company. I'm attaching a few photos of the damage, and I have a lot more photo and video evidence. MOVER BEWARE.
