This is a quintessential northwoods little bar and pub that is one of my favorites! Love it that it is next to a lake!

What a find! Stopped by for coffee and a snack after walking the River Prairie trails. The place is…read moregorgeous: stunning bar, comfy seating, lots of glass and light, high celling, beautiful light fixtures - kind of a modern European feel. We were greeted warmly and then seated ourselves. Our server, David, was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. We had espresso, chai, and shared the non-cheese charcuterie board. The board was accompanied by a warm crusty loaf of thickly sliced bread (GF available) that I used to make the most delicious little prosciutto sandwiches. Another memorable treat was the positively addictive rosemary walnuts. We decided to split dessert and chose a slice of the flourless chocolate cake. The cake was accented by some raspberries that leant a perfect pop of brightness to the rich, Belgian chocolate cake. This was simple food done perfectly and we loved it. So much so that I brought my husband and daughter back later that afternoon for the cheese charcuterie board, sandwiches and drinks. Same great service and delicious, fresh food. We plan to watch the Packers pre- season game there this weekend - rationalizing we will save money by not having to pay for YouTube TV lol. This warm, sophisticated, and charming place is a gem.

These are not mixed drinks. These are truly crafted cocktails. We have an excellent selection of liquors. Beers on tap. Wine. Appetizers and sandwiches. they have an outdoor seating area and rooftop seating for the summertime. Great service. Beautiful decor. The only downside is it's very loud in there. The acoustics are terrible. Could definitely use some sound absorbing tiles on the ceiling. It's right next to the amphitheater at River Prairie Park. Parking can be tight when there's a concert. It's also a little spender than your average place in the area. I think it's worth it for the experience and unique cocktails.

Warmed up is definitely my favorite, but since they're made fresh each day, you can't go wrong. Service: The staff is super nice and we got our cinnamon rolls very quickly. Ambience: Super cozy and cute environment. They have coloring sheets and board games for you to play, inviting you to stay a while and just enjoy your food and company. Also love the train theme decor and pictures because it's in a remodeled train depo. Over all: 9/10. Delicious cinnamon rolls and kind staff, not to mention a super cute and cozy environment.

Serving your standard espresso drinks from macchiatos to lattes, many of the drinks can be made hot or iced. There is even a seasonal menu for specialty purposes. Quiches are served either crusted or uncrusted with many unique options including one with turkey, cranberries and feta. Quiches can be served independent or with a side. I opted for the side of broccoli salad and it was phenomenal. The caramel latte was delicious as well and served with a lovely art design on top. Sweatshirts, pottery mugs, handmade cards, soaps, perfumes and more are available for purchase. Board games, stencils and puzzles are located near the bathrooms if you have little ones or are wanting to be in your child like element. Don't forget to sign the guest book near the register! I enjoyed my time on the exterior front porch as was in awe of all the patrons walking in and out. Looking forward to my next visit so I can try more of the pastries as the cinnamon rolls were calling my name. Bonus: There is a train that still runs near the back of the building so you will really be on theme if you get to see it go by. Enjoy!
