She does such an amazing job that people don't believe me that my lashes are extensions. They are placed so perfectly and there is never any trace of glue anywhere to be seen. I absolutely LOVE Jasmine!!! She is hands down the best lash tech I have had in the 9+ years of getting my lashes done. She's so great in fact that I used to travel over an hour just to have my lashes done by her when she was at the Montclair location. She is always on time for appts and super friendly. This was my first time at this location. The service was okay, it took about 1.5 hours to do a full lash service. However as soon as I was done, I told the technician that one eye looked like a heavier set than the other. She took 1 or 2 lashes out and assured me it looked fine. Over the course of the week, the number of lashes on one eye seemed to look more and more uneven. 1.5 week in, my one eye looks fine and the other eye, the lashes have almost all completely fallen off. I'm very disappointed with the quality of the service here because I've gotten my lashes done in other places and they last a good 2-3 weeks but now I have one eye with a full set of lash extensions and one eye without. I've been caring of them as instructed but I really feel that the technician did not put them on properly on my one eye. read more

I have no complaints regarding my eyelashes. For my eyelashes I give them a 5 star rating. Always a great job and I've been going since November 2016. The reason I rated a 3 is there is way too much personal chatter between the technicians to the point I can't wait to be done. Some of which I consider inappropriate in an open forum. It gets pretty loud at times especially with the technician right at your ear. Environment could be a bit more professional. Also make sure you know what service you're getting because they ask me every appointment....Receptionist wrote it down on a card for me for future visits. If you don't receive it, ask so there is no confusion on your service and what you're paying for. read more

Horrible customer service!!!! I made a 12:30pm appointment with Tia I called the day before to see if I can reschedule due to is conflicting with work they didn't answer the phone until 10:37 smh I spoke with Rita she was not helpful at all I explained my situation she immediately canceled my appointment with out even trying to help me find another one. I asked to speak to the manager jasmine i told by Rita I can not speak to her and said she will call you and hung up. I missed the call by jasmine I called her back by again I was told I can't not speak to her. I called and ask to keep my appointment and I'll make rearrangements at work. I leave my house it was an accident on the parkway and I called and I said I will be 10 minutes late the receptionist Lacy says " well she only have you until 2, what ever she can finish in that time" I get there and lacy and tia tells me I can only get natural because I was 10 minutes late captive lashes I did have enough time (10 minutes really) they were very eased and didn't care I explain I was going on vacation and I drive 45 minutes to get here I chose this location and Montclair was closer completely rude I walked out no service and no appointment made never again read more

I had to call multiple times during regular business hours to schedule an appointment which was a huge turn off to start. The place is not particularly polished and I felt like it was not super clean. While other lash salons I've been to have used a special fabric lined, soft touch tape to separate the lower lashes from the top lashes, this was my first experience where the location seemed to have used regular scotch tape. Needless to say it was very uncomfortable. Other lash salons I've been to, the lash application was very relaxing, although at Lure Lash, I felt very tense and uneasy. There were a number times there was a sharp sting / tugging followed by a "Oh Sorry!" which was disconcerting. I was disappointed with the final result as the glue seemed very thick, many of the lash extensions were glued to two to three of my natural lashes rather than just one lash, and the lashes were not glued close to the base of the lash. For the experience I had, the price, and the difficulty to schedule appointments, I won't be returning and I would not recommend Lure Lash to friends. read more

This review is for overall customer service. I have been here twice for eyebrow threading. The threading person is only here Tuesday through Friday (as this appears to be a primarily lash place). She does a good job, but the main problem is getting an appointment. When you call no one answers the phone. Voicemail messages are not returned. I have tried to be a patron of this location and even called days in advance to secure an appointment but still no return call. One day I walked in just to learn that the person is not there on Saturdays (this could have been avoided if I could get a live person on the phone). Today I attempted to walk-in but was told they were booked all day and asked to come back later. When I tried to clarify how much later, I could not get a straight answer. I also informed her that I called 2 days prior and left a voice mail with no return call, again there was no real answer or apology. It think it's very unprofessional and poor customer service to have a voice mail but not return calls. There are plenty of places that actually want business. This is too bad because the threading person is actually pretty good. I guess it doesn't matter if can't actually get an appointment. Look elsewhere for better and consistent service. read more

The first time I went I got a lash lift and for some reason the treatment didn't work at all. I was pretty upset because the process is about and hour and half long so it feels like forever when your sitting there and can't move. I had to go in again and I wasn't thrilled with the results. My eyelashes were curled but I still had to curl them with an eye lash curler every morning. Less then a week in they started to get funky. I have eye lashes that bend really weird and stick in opposite directions. I called and asked to go back in a third time to get them fixed because they looked very wonky. They allowed me to come in which i was very happy about! As soon as i get there after I drove from my house which is about 20 minutes away and paid for parking, I walked in and they said they "forgot" to call but they couldn't take me anymore and they were going to give me a call when a new kit brand of a lash lift serum was going to come i. They said they would call me and it's been a week and Iv received no call. Eventually after waiting about 2 weeks i called again and made an appointment. My eyelashes were very curled too the point that they curled back so far touching my eye lids. Within a week my eyelashes were extremely wonky and are bent, crooked, and sticking out in opposite directions. Not happy with results at all I really dislike they way my eye lashes look now. read more

I visited the Metuchen location about two weeks ago. I was a little nervous was this was my first time. The technician working with me was extremely unfriendly. I tried to as her questions and was looking for her guidance based on her experience, and she was completely stoic, with one word responses and an attitude that made it clear she was not interested in helping me. She then tried for 10 minutes to tape down my lower lashes and called a more senior technician over to tape down my bottom lashes, which she did very quickly. Then she proceeded to begin to apply my lashes and I had to hold my breathe for the entire hour and a half, because all I could smell was the cigarette smoke on her hands. Afterwards, I could feel something was off, my lashes felt very uncomfortable and itchy. For the past two weeks, I was traveling and unable to do anything about my lashes, but my left eye was itching and tearing for the entire two weeks. Almost all of the lashes in my left eye, including my lashes have fallen out. I am so upset. I just returned, and I called to speak to the manager and was told that she will call me back. I am extremely unhappy. The lashes were very pretty initially, but the overall experience during and after were very disappointing. read more
