The parking was a little tight. I managed to find a parking lot close by or you could park on the street. The ladies that worked behind the counter were very friendly and it was a nice waiting area. I just finished getting a eyelash lift and tint, I left very disappointed my tech was very nice, but I got to the car and looked at my lashes and they hardly looked tinted at all. I'm very fair but I expected black tint mine was maybe a light brown. I had this done back in January in Florida and I didn't need mascara for at least 12 weeks. I've been a client a Lure Lash Madison + Montclair for over a year and have had minimal problems with booking until I finally was able to make an appointment at Metuchen. It's relatively closer to me compared to the other locations but it's always booked up so I was excited when I saw two last minute appointments open up for Anna at 5p for a 2D CAPTIVATING 1 WEEK FILL. I immediately booked the 5pm and confirmed my appointment online for the next day. (I typically do not receive a phone call as long as I confirm my appointment online.) Don't get me wrong, but I LOVE LURE LASH! I love the cleanliness, the quality of work and wonderful services that the techs have provided me with but this experiene at METUCHEN left a bad taste in my mouth. I arrived at 5pm and my first impression was how unpleasant and aloof this receptionist (Savan?) was compared to those at the other locations. I waited about 15 minutes until the she notified me that Anna has been blocked out for bookings in their system and that it was a glitch so she wasn't on-site for my appointment. I asked if there was anyone that could accommodate & she said no because they close 7 and gave off the "oh well" expression. I told her I needed to get them as full as possible & I was really aiming to get them done today. Not rudely, but she asked "Why? Are you're going away?" Hmm.. That shouldn't matter since I made an appointment for a specific date/time. Thereafter, she didn't offer me other appointments at other locations so I had to ask her & she provided me with Metuchen avail for a less experienced tech, explaining that she wasn't in the system for 2D bookings because it takes her longer for the next day, as well as avail at Madison. (I did take the Madison appointment but it's just a hassle to drive up to that location when I am due to be in that area.) As someone who has worked in customer service, I understand that computer glitches are out of her hands, but that shouldn't detract someone from providing great customer service. It's disappointing that she was so aloof and uncaring about the situation. AFTER ASKING, I was offered 20% off for my fill. This situation left a bitter taste in my mouth in having to deal with Metuchen's receptionist, but for next time, I know that I would rather go out of my way and continue going to Madison/Montclair and perhaps Somerville for any future services. read more

They're very subtle since I wanted the natural looking ones with the C curve, but I don't regret it at all. The only thing is that my eyes burned a bit at times but it went away quick since they fan my eyes out. Just remember don't wear your eye contacts and eye makeup if you're gonna go, I wore my glasses just in case. Also, if you're using a parking meter, you may need to refill it for the 2 hours. She explained all the different types of lash extensions you can get, and also made her recommendations for me based off my own lashes. I have very thin sparse lashes, so she recommended the 2d natural. This is 2 thin lashes that are applied to your lashes versus 1 thicker lash. In my opinion, this makes it look fuller and nicer (also it's less weight on your own lashes). The whole experience took about an hour. Anna was really gentle with my eyes and I love how detail oriented she is. It's been 2 weeks and I think they are just started to fall off, but they still look great. I went in today as one of their models for a classic set. Sajina did my lashes and it was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The amount of pain I felt over the course of 2.5 hours was unbearable. I felt like my bottom lashes had been glued to my top lashes and it was impossible for me to open my eyes until she painfully pulled them apart, or at least that's what it felt like. Lastly, the eyelash pads placed under my eyes felt like there was wax on them. Pulling them off literally had me in tears. The whole experience was a nightmare and I really wish it I could've just gotten up and left. I don't like the tape that is placed around your eyes , so for an extra $4 they can apply a gel patch which I feel should be included with the service, since tape is not meant to be applied to skin.
