My husband and i stopped here to get some carne asada fries and we were NOT disappointed. First, the girl helping us was VERY nice and friendly. We wanted some modifications cuz im picky and she was kind in helping us leave stuff off or move to the side. She explained the sauces to us too. Wish i bad gotten her name. The fries are LOADED and the portion is huge. They dont skimp on meat here or other toppings. My husband and i shared it and couldnt finish it. Good quality!!! Next time i def got to try the spicy sauce! We both ageed we would come back whenever we needed some asada fries - but i want to try their barbacoa too. And maybe a burrito! Its in the mall so obv its loud but everyone should try this place! Thank you!

This place seriously needs to get its act together and take responsibility for its staff. Unless I'm on the verge of starvation, I wouldn't step foot in this restaurant again. Ever. We recently placed a catering order through the food truck, who would be onsite a a local brewery at the same time as our department holiday party. The brewery put me in touch with Bryan, who (via email) walked me through the options available for a group of our size (as wel as cost). Very professional, communicative, and willing to be responsive with info to my own team deadlines when I needed it. When the day of the event came, he and the team went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of; the food was delivered on time, accurately, and adhering to all of our groups needs/dietary restrictions. Excellent experience, would reach out to Lupita's team/Bryan again in future for our catering needs. This review is for their taco truck. I am reviewing them for their plant-based options! They were stationed at our local community college. I've eatin it a couple of different occasions and both times were amazing! I never got to review the first time I ate it, but it's consistently the same and very tasty. The portion is a LOT in my opinion. The amount they put in the tacos is very generous. I would say less on the soyrizo as it can get very salty. No real complaints because I was able to eat it moderately when I got home. The burrito was also decent. It came with chips and salsa as well. Their are no combo plates available only alacarte. In 20 minutes there was only me a then another lady. I ordered a bowl that contained iceberg lettuce salsa a one meat of my choice, which was grilled chicken cubed, and sour cream.The chicken was charred and dry but was seasoned nicely. Tortilla chips were $3 and chino and beans which was really good tasting $3.75"salad" 9.90. Then I was charged a $1 fee for customizing. I asked for a cup of water and was told they don't give out water. Grand total $20.78. read more

I got the $14 bowl only to be given the smallest portions. With the $1 they charge you to use your debit/credit card and the $1.25 for guac again only to be given the smallest portions, it's absolutely ridiculous. Almost $20 , at that point I rather go to chipotle. Last time I checked restaurants weren't allowed to charge extra for debit/credit card use so I will be investigating this. Better off going to chipotle. Maybe it was the service I got from the girl with braces because I've been here before and it was great but this time I was very disappointed. I can see why it's dead now, with this type of service from the staff. read more

Grabbed the Barbacoa Fries and an horchata agua fresco. FRIES: Make no mistake, the barbacoa is the star of the show and makes it known off first bite. And fries are fries, they soak up the sauce very well. Macaroni salad is nice to cool things off, but it doesn't bring much of a distinct flavor to the table. It's a rich one, but worth the extra 10-15 minutes on the treadmill. (Score: ****) AGUA FRESCA: Horchata is packed with flavor, with the cinnamon sediments adding character and sealing the deal. If you love it, grab it, but I think the piña may be a better pairing with some of the options on the menu. I went to this place on sunday around 5:30...extremely rude staff, needs better customer service. what's the point of hiring? I am not normally one to write reviews but it was just a bad experience. Person helping us only gave one word answers. Her and her coworker left and kept staring at us. Food was alright but the girl needs help with manners. Side note: I had the pleasure of trying Lupitas taco truck last Thursday and they are amazing. If y'all are on a high protein journey, this is the spot. I love hand-made tortillas. Hired Lupitas for catering twice. The first time we ran out of food. The second time we had 87 people and I paid for 150 people, yet we STILL ran out of food. No more then 15 percent returned for seconds which is conservative. Good food, but not worth the expense to be dissappitned in such a way. Lupita states we didn't run out of food but I was the last person to try and request a taco and I was told there was no more meat. Other reviewers have complained about the same situation. read more

My son and I were looking for something to eat while doing some shopping and we love tacos so we figured we'll try this place out, the cashier lady was I wouldn't say 'rude' but definitely not welcoming, we were standing there for 5-10mins without any acknowledgment nor assistance. She finished with the customer in front of us and when she finally came to us her first question was "are you guys ready" which made it seem like she was waiting on us.... Regardless of her attitude and unwelcoming approach I do recommend this place cause the food tasted very good, for a Mall Food Court quality, it exceeded my expectations. We ordered the 3 tacos combo which came with 2 sides, small tortilla chips, and a drink for $20. For our meats we got El Pastor, Asada, and chicken, our sides were Pinto Beans and Mexican Rice, the rice for me wasn't cooked all the way cause it kept getting stuck on my teeth but flavor was delicious read more

Was served by a kindly gentleman : I had asked for water but did not realize it was bottled and charged for each one. I asked if he would replace them with two more tacos instead (slightly close in price but not exact) and he did. Got a quesadilla for the child and it was a huge portion with no added spices so she enjoyed it. Parking was easy the afternoon I came. High chairs available. Clean restroom.
