Disappointed I was here again recently to have yet another pair of shorts sewn. I came in and ran into Raphael who called himself the archangel . I laughed. I think he was helping out his father Juan who is always overly busy when I go there. So this was on a Friday, and I asked about Monday and Raphael said Tuesday. Mind you I'm getting a a patch sewn in a pair of shorts. So I said OK. Well I got tied up and forgot about Tuesday because I had other things going on. I show up Wednesday it's just Juan by himself. I've dealt with him before and if you don't know how to deal with him... you'll get offended, and he'll get you pissed off. Cause he always tells you what's on his mind and he's a little rough. He does good work, but he does not have the best customer skills. Which really doesn't bother me since I worked in the building trades and people said all sorts of things to me and that's fine that doesn't bother me. So I show up Wednesday and Juan is searching all over for my garment and he can't find it and then of course he gives me : the why don't you come back later or why don't you come back in 30 minutes and then he got mad at me and yelled at me lol, and I just said are you done? And he just stared at me. And I told him I was here Friday we agreed on Tuesday , it's now Wednesday why can't you find the garment and why isn't it done? And he's making excuses telling me he's busy or this or that , and he looks again and finally finds it, and of course it wasn't done and then he tells me he wanted me to sit and wait or come back in 30 minutes. I got annoyed but I said I'll be back in 30 minutes. I came back and of course he had done the patch and it was a great job : but why couldn't this been done Monday or Tuesday? I don't know but the one thing I do know is he does good work, hes kind of abrupt with his customers but his biggest problem is he has a small space and he's extremely unorganized which is why Raphael is probably there to help him. And Juan is one man show. He needs to clean up his place get more organized and he would probably be able to keep up with everything and he does need a front man who can deal with the customer since that's not Juans strength. I'm sure the next time I need a patch job will probably be a couple years down the road and I will forget about the incident. but right now it seems like it's hit or miss, and reading other people's reviews this is not the first time it's happened. Summary: Juan does excellent work, is abrupt with customers, can be unorganized and unable to locate your items. It's hit or miss if you'll get it on time. The quality of service has significantly decreased over the years at Luna's Taylor shop. On 2 recent trips, I took a pair of pants to be hemmed for a function I was attending. Mr Luna told me they would be open until 5:00pm. I went to pick my pants up around 3:00pm and they were closed. I called the business number thinking they might be gone to lunch. Once he answered he stated they were closed for the day and for me to come back tomorrow. I told him I needed my pants that day, and all he said was "I'm sorry". The last straw was, two weeks ago I dropped some work pants off to have patches put on them. After one was the patch came off. He told me he would take care of it and to come back a week later. Upon arriving to get my pants he hastily folded them and gave them to me. I checked them out when I got in my car and the patch was still not properly fixed, which I paid $60 to have repaired. Mr. Luna has placed profit over quality and loyalty. I will be looking for another Taylor to take my business to. read more

I can't recommend this shop enough!!! Hands down the best tailor in the area!! I brought an entire 3pc suit in that was just a little too small on all 3 pieces and he worked his magic and was able to let it out enough to where it fit me perfectly!!! Price wasn't the cheapest, but when you want quality work you have to pay a little more. read more

I brought my bridesmaid dress here to be hemed. They were very polite and professional as soon as I walked in the door. had me try on the dress so he could get a proper mesurment. The price wasn't bad. He gave me call saying he was done almost two weeks before the date he originally said. Very great work. My dress looks amazing. I would definitely recommend them! read more

Well I've been using this Tailor Shop on and off for the last 12 years at least this by far was my worst experience I had problems in the past but I figure I give him another chance because yes he is a little bit cheaper than most of the other Tailor Shop's but I brought in four pairs of pants to get tapered on a Tuesday came back the next Tuesday and they were never done he was trying to give me every excuse in the world and I even have my phone number on the receipt he never even called me so I show up on a Tuesday and no pants are done very bad business I do not recommend them!!!!! read more

I had just bought a brand new suit for an unexpected event and needed it tailored to wear that night. Juan had me measured out quickly and it was clear that he was a veteran with experience in his trade. He delivered on a very short time frame, as promised. Not only did they hem my pants and take in my jacket but they also pressed my shirt for me and had everything ready-to-wear! The work I requested to be done was 1) Hem some knit shirts, 2) Hem some pants and jeans and 3) Take in pants and jeans in the back to remove the "back gap." The knit shirts were hemmed in a way that provided NO stretch, which is not proper for knit shirts. I had those redone by another tailor who did a good job. The jeans were measured while on me, but then hemmed shorter which ruined them. The back darts on the dress pants were done incorrectly leaving an odd buldge. Those were not salvageable either. Pants leg hem was done bad. The hem was crinkeled. They have a dog in the store and my suit had dog hair all over it. When I picked up the suit there was nobody there to even check it to make sure it fit correct. I brought my sons north face denali in here last thursday to have a zipper fixed. I was told my jacket would be done by tuesday and that it would only be $10. Before I brought the jacket in, I put my son's name on the inside of the jacket just because I didn't want any sort of mix ups to occur. When I went to pick up the jacket I felt that something seemed different. I noticed that the tag was completely taken off and the jacket seemed lighter. When I asked why the tag was not on my jacket, both owners started arguing in spanish. I then was told that the tag was loose and it made more sense to take it completely off. This does not make any sense to me because this is a tailor business... The lady then went in the back room and came back with the tag not on the jacket. I would not use this business again for the simple fact that I feel as though I don't even have the jacket I walked in with. Please be warned and careful when bringing in expensive items. read more
