Completely disappointed. Would like to warn all other potential patients to stay away. I made an appointment to have my son seen to get a quote to get his braces off and into a retainer. The person who scheduled my appointment was well versed in my circumstances. She said I had to have him seen in person for an accurate quote. Our appointment was several weeks out. I took off work (no pay) and drove 40+ minutes to their Smokey Point location. On appointment day, the girl tried to take a pano of my son's teeth. I declined "no thanks, we're here for a quote to get braces off and into a retainer." There is no need for excessive radiation to get a quote for removal. When we got into the room with "Mel" I informed her of my situation. We moved in and out of state twice in two years for my work and I had unknowingly exhausted our ortho benefits between two offices that my son had been transferred through so, we needed braces off and into a retainer. I explained we were here for a quote and that I had already gotten three other quotes, but due to financial situation, things were tight and I was trying to make the best decision. She said she would let the orthodontist know. The orthodontist came in and I started to explained why we were there. She cut me off right away. She said she was thinking I had a billing question. I told her no, I was trying to make conversation and explain how we got to this point. She didn't let me finished. She wasn't interested and she didn't care. I was so disheartened and shocked by the terrible customer service experience. I already feel awful enough to unknowingly have exhausted our ortho benefits and needed to take braces off. She completely ignored why we were there. She proceed to tell "Mel" how long treatment would be needed for and how it would just be for some aesthetic purposes. Super perplexed, I again informed that we have no money for treatment and were there for a quote to remove braces and get into a retainer. She left the room. I waited patiently for the quote. "Mel" explained we wouldn't be getting one because the orthodontist recommended another 9 months of treatment. Baffled, I starred at her... I was so confused. I reviewed for the one thousandth time we have no money and were scheduled for an appointment to get a quote to remove braces. I explained I took time off work and drove 40 minutes for a quote. She went and checked in with orthodontist and came back and said she still couldn't give me a quote for the reason we were there. She said her clinical practice managers were all in training and they would get back to me. She very very condescending about how frustrated I was. Never heard back from anyone. For unprofessionalism, terrible customer service, condescending, horrible team communication, and strong distrust, they get a one star. If possible, I'd give a negative star for the time off work no pay and wasted gas. read more

I took my daughter there for the first time for her first exam and they were PHENOMENAL. everyone we interacted with were so kind and took the time to explain. We never felt rushed and we felt cared for. Best dental experience EVER. read more

Two people from my household received ortho services here. We both felt as if it was very much like the McDonald's of orthodontia. It felt as if the goal was to get us out as quickly as possible and move on to the next patient. Our treatment plans were thrown out the window and instead of two years we had braces for 1.5yrs. Dr Lund has been an amazing orthodontist to our three teenagers. As you can imagine---choosing to put three teenagers thru braces all at the same time comes as a financial sacrifice. However, we are SO pleased that the folks at Lund are willing to work with our budget! It's an investment we will never will be sorry we tightened our finances to make happen. To close---The staff at Lund is second to None. We have forgotten an appointment here or there with one of the three kids over the years and they have been kind to work with us and reschedule those appts ASAP. When you call---they answer!! Go figure! That may sound funny but we have issues with other companies we use that throw you thru a digital operator and it seems like ten frustrating minutes later you MIGHT get a human! Lol. I was absolutely shocked to see there weren't many reviews here yet, because Dr. Lund sees so many patients. I figured I'd write a review to help people know what they're looking at here, because the results I got were great! My story began in the middle of high school with some seriously crooked teeth, and I was worried that braces weren't going to do much. I also had a pretty bad underbite to compliment them. As it turned out, pleasantly enough, Dr. Lund said that he would be able to help! ...Though, it wasn't perfect. I will mention the good things first. After expanders, Herbst Appliances, a bit of pain, and a few years, I'm now happy with Invisalign braces on my top row, and permanent metal braces that hold my bottom teeth in place on the backside (No one can see them)! My smile is literally perfect, and everything went as expected. The place is nice, the staff are friendly (To other clients), there's a nice, pleasant atmosphere about the place, and it's very contemporary and comfortable. No complaints there. All of the staff got together and sung a cheery goodbye song as I left my last appointment. Picture-perfect, almost. My only real gripe is how every single time I came in there, they made a point of addressing me as "bud". Of course, they said it in a friendly manner, but that's a really weird thing to call a girl by. I didn't hear them say that to other girls, just other friendly names. They called the boys by "bud", and I began to understand it's probably because my chin looked pretty big while I was on Herbst Appliances. Even Lund himself did that. No matter how many times I asked nicely for that to stop, it continued, and they acted like it was rude that I'd even suggest they stop. I don't know, eventually I would bear with it and stopped bringing it up for the final few months. They're still great people aside from that. Maybe they thought I was transgender for some reason? I have no idea; I'm biologically female, and I certainly hope they're not discriminatory against those people because I have a few as friends, one who might need this service. I think the doctor also confused me for a male the first time I came in because of that gross underbite I had at first. I have a perfect profile now, so there's no mistaking that anymore. Aside from that hiccup every time I came in, it was a very nice place, and I would gladly go there again for their excellent service and staff. It's no surprise this place is highly recommended, but I have to give it a 4/5 because even though the results I received were nothing short of amazing, I hate to say I'm too afraid to recommend Dr. Lund to my friend who is transgender. I hope it's just a big misunderstanding on my part, because I really wish I could. read more

I requested an appointment and soon received a call from a lady named Katy or Katie (I'm not sure). The way she spoke is sort of challenging to understand as I'm not a English native speaker. Extremely impressed with everything so far that we have encountered at Lund. The office is absolutley beautiful, fun, brilliant colors for the kids and clean, large, technology based for the parents. Their entire staff has bent over backwards for us and our daughter to make sure she was fully taken care of and that we were happy. Our daughter is very comfortable at each visit.
