I was having beers at Omerta and was hungry so this was an easy pick but I really don't think all these 5 star reviews make sense in the context of anything other then that it might be the best burger food truck on the block. In fairness the rest of the stuff between the stale bun and the overly sweet BBQ was fresh and good but I really think Moa has a better burger hands down. Perhaps it's a consistency thing and I was unlucky but for the moment I'm not very impressed.

The concept is the same, but Chimera is the best! Since 1991 it's been a place that is always busy as an innovative restaurant alternative. People appreciate fresh, tasty food, marvelous service and lovely atmosphere. It's practically a salad bar. You'll enjoy soups, veggies, tarts, meat, desserts, and all sorts of drinks, such as fresh juices and smoothies. Coffees and alcoholic beverages are available as well. The prices are delightful, a little break from overpaying for everything in Krakow. First, choose the serving size you want: one, four, or six scoops. Then, see what's available and what appeals to you. In addition to the first floor, there are also two mezzanines where you can find additional seating.

Meat & Go has evolved from a humble food-stand at Okrąglak to a hipster diner. Prices are rather…read morehigher now. Improvements to the dining experience more than compensate though. Having a place to sit is obviously better. The availability of wine and beer is another obvious plus. Harder to quantify is the love put into the food. It was apparent when Meat & Go was in Kazimierz that they care deeply about what they do. At their new location at Dolnych Młynów the level of dedication seems to have gone up further. Just look at my photos: They print names of their sandwiches on their napkins. I mean, who does that? The pekefleisch and the porchetta are still the headline stars. New additions to the menu hold their own as well. The cow-tongue sandwich, in particular, is to die for. The Hungarian rib "sandwich" is supreme as well--if you don't mind eating with fork and knife. The only unimpressed addition is the goose sandwich. With the skin and a thin-layer of fat, the flesh of this bird just tastes like dry turkey. Dolnych Młynów is presently the trendiest part of Krkaow. If you're one of those people who like to stay ahead of the curve, a visit to the city definitely warrant spending a night or two here. And if you do and you're not a vegetarian, by all means grab a sandwich at Meat & Go. You won't regret it.
