The smell of roasting sausages fills the air from the large open fire pit making for quite a nice authentic ambiance. The real appeal is cooking your own sausages, great beer, & authentic rustic atmosphere. Covered outdoor seating is great for large groups and meeting new people around you, everyone is usually quite friendly and will share a bench with you. Not many tourists around, you'll see lots of locals here with their friends or family enjoying their time out.
The real fun is roasting your sausage over the open flame and remembering which one is yours while not drinking too many beers and forgetting about it, burning it to a crisp (no refunds for stupidity). Within walking distance of the main tourist square and along the beautiful river, makes for a nice setting and alternative evening outside of the square. This place has been around for awhile and my parents have stories about this place from their younger days.
The location I am reviewing is:
