When my surgeon was reviewing my MRI results after I took a nasty fall, he noticed irregularities in the left side of my brain that might be a contributing factor to my dizziness and loss of balance. After further treatment with radiology, I was advised to have physical therapy to strengthen and improve my ability to walk, sit and stand, and all the other movements I had always taken for granted. I have been receiving biweekly treatments in my home and have been amazed at the sense of overall wellness, improvement in balance, and reduction of pain. Ryan is so knowledgeable of how and why I need to move a certain way and how to give me the confidence to keep trying and pushing myself without reinjury. He is prompt and brings all equipment necessary for me to perform the exercises. My neighbors sometimes come out to see him, my husband and me taking our outdoor walks around the neighborhood. I have found using Luna , in home services for physical therapy to be extremely beneficial. not only the ease of having PT in my home , the care the Therapist provides is excellent. My injury was to my hip and as a result traveled to my knee . The therapist is able to work with me with minimal needs of heavy equipment and I feel I get 100# of his time , vs. moving through several assistants you would normally experience in a PT center. I like to ability to really build a relationship with the therapist as he gets to understand how my body is feeling and can immediately access my progress. This is the second time I have had physical therapy for the same problem, but it has reared its ugly head and showed up worse than ever. Since I did this same stuff several years ago I was not anxious to repeat the same stuff. When my physical therapist showed up at my residence he took the time to talk to me and LISTEN and got to know me and my physical situation while I got to know him. He pushes me, but just enough. I have had two on-demand physical therapy visits. My physical therapist, Carley, was attentive, listened well, explained everything carefully, and I loved my sessions with her. It was very important to me that she actually massage my very painful neck and shoulder area. In the past, I have found PT's not too interested in doing massage. But she did a great job and thoroughly, not just sparingly, as I have experienced in the past. She was patient with my slowness and limitations and helpful with ideas of how to deal with them. Bree my PT is amazing,I been have PT since 2018 on an off for the same back issues, Bree is the only therapist that spoke to me for about 30 mins before starting our sessions regarding what were my goals. she also did an in depth evaluation and set up our sessions according to my limitations. she's gentle, extremely knowledgeable and caring. she explains each exercise we are doing. My P.T. Therepist has been Josh Cole for the past 3 sessions and I couldn't be more pleased. Josh is very knowledgable about what I need to strengthen my arm after my surgery on my humerous bone. It is so much easier to have your physical therapy come to your house. They bring all the equipment you need. This is my fourth time needing PT and it is so much more comfortable having it in your home. You also have a one on one experience instead of having someone tell you to do an exercise and then walking off to help someone else. You have to spend a lot of your hour waiting for a therapist to come back and explain the next exercise but not with Luna. read more
