Everything paired so well with each other and my favorite part was the pearl couscous salad and the hummus. I did think the portion of chicken was smaller. Was craving mediterrean food and so we spotted Luna Grill! It was very spacious, had lots of seating. During the time we went, it wasn't entirely busy - only a few tables seated. We ordered the Bistro Beef Kabob Plate with a house salad and the Mediterrean Wrap. My mom loved the Kabob plate and my boyfriend also liked the Mediterrean wrap. However, the wrap was okay in my opinion. It didn't have any special taste compared to other Mediterrean places I've tried. Would probably visit again and maybe try something else! I hadn't ordered from Luna Grill in months, so decided to buy lunch from there today. I ordered a Santorini Bowl and it was very good. I ordered a Modern Greek Salad and was extremely disappointed. The salad was so small and the handful of lettuce made it barely recognizable as a salad. I'd ordered it many times in the past and this didn't look anything like what I expected. I know costs have gone up, but I'd rather they charge me more, than give me this tiny salad. I will never buy it again. Only got the 3 because I did enjoy my bowl. read more

If you're craving something healthier to eat, then this is a great option! Leaving mixed reviews. I usually love this place! I like their salads, gyro wrap, and their chicken kabob and gyro plates. Sadly I have to knock them a couple stars for Inconsistent quality of the food and service. One time we ordered with Luna Grill app and everything was ready and we were able to pick up within 30 minutes or less. The food was fresh and hot. Everything was delicious! And the last visit we ordered ahead via DoorDash and order wasn't ready even after waiting 45 minutes and the girl at the counter said they didn't see our order and they were not busy (no line or diners). I think they forgot to check? Not sure but had to wait 20-25 minutes in the car for the order to be ready. And sadly the chicken and gyro were both dry. I'll give them another chance but seems like you get better service using the Luna Grill app vs DoorDash or another food delivery service app. read more

Luna grill's takeout service is a huge disappointment!! I ordered 10 falafel meals and veggie skewers for my nieces Birthday party. I was expecting the falafels with the pita bread,and the traditional cucumber tomato salad. My order included just the falafel garbanzo. No pita wrap and definitely no greens. The rice to protein ratio is insane, the cheapest part of this dish is the rice and more than half the bowl is rice. And I wouldn't really call this 3 pieces of chicken. Came into Luna Grill on a wet gloomy rainy day for lunch for the first day time and glad I did! I ordered the Chicken Kabob plate which came with basmati rice, salad, pita and tzatziki. I also got a small side of hummus and hibiscus strawberry aqua fresca. Everything tasted fresh, delicious and a great music playlist lifted my spirits. The place is spotless, bright and airy with an upscale modern feel, I liked the wood floors, ceilings, and reclaimed wood accents on the brick wall. The service was decent with some room for improvement. Coming from a customer service background I would suggest to have the person working the counter at least pretend to be having a good day, maybe a smile. I also observed the manager, Lori take a complaint call from a customer on the phone and was rolling her eyes and had an unpleasant edge to her voice getting somewhat confrontational and commenting about people with poor English calling after the call. You service Oxnard with a large population of Latino immigrants. I suggest you curb your attitude and be appreciative of the patronage. Nobody wants to hear your attitude during their lunch break.
