I really want to like this place, but every-time I visit I feel skimped out on the important part of the food. The rice to protein ratio is insane, the cheapest part of this dish is the rice and more than half the bowl is rice. And I wouldn't really call this 3 pieces of chicken. More like 2 pieces and some random leftover thrown in. I've had the salmon bowl as well and that's probably like 1.5-2oz of salmon at best. The food is delicious, don't get me wrong, but compared to other Mediterranean restaurants around the area you definitely pay the same price to get double the good stuff, protein. read more

Luna Grill Oxnard - Chicken Santorini bowl - Mediterranean Near Me - Oxnard, California

Food is great and made fast after ordering. I think the portion size is worth the price paid. Very clean location. Lots of seating

Was looking forward to a good meal after a long day at work, turns out my day just got longer as they handed me someone else food for me to take home, only realized it after I got home from my 30 minute drive. I'm better off going to a McDonald's knowing I'll get my correct order compared to having to take some else's food for me. A Manager could have done better after I spent 30 dollars just for myself and it was clearly a manager packing my bag. Thanks but no thanks I'll just do fast food compared to this type of service. read more

This Luna Grill location is great! Always delicious food and excellent service! Estefan and Jorge assisted us this last visit and both went above and beyond what I would have ever expected. They are very accommodating and are a great example of how customer service should be. This is a great place to bring your family and I always leave satisfied! read more

Came into Luna Grill on a wet gloomy rainy day for lunch for the first day time and glad I did! I ordered the Chicken Kabob plate which came with basmati rice, salad, pita and tzatziki. I also got a small side of hummus and hibiscus strawberry aqua fresca. Everything tasted fresh, delicious and a great music playlist lifted my spirits. The place is spotless, bright and airy with an upscale modern feel, I liked the wood floors, ceilings, and reclaimed wood accents on the brick wall. The service was decent with some room for improvement. Coming from a customer service background I would suggest to have the person working the counter at least pretend to be having a good day, maybe a smile. I also observed the manager, Lori take a complaint call from a customer on the phone and was rolling her eyes and had an unpleasant edge to her voice getting somewhat confrontational and commenting about people with poor English calling after the call. You service Oxnard with a large population of Latino immigrants. I suggest you curb your attitude and be appreciative of the patronage. Nobody wants to hear your attitude during their lunch break. It wasn't directed at me but I empathized with the caller. 1 star deducted for that bs. Otherwise I'm satisfied. read more

Always great and healthy food. The customer service was amazing as well. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

If this is what the Mediterranean Diet is all about.... Count. Me. In. And I mean.... All The Way In! You know how In the Wizard of Oz Dorthy chants, "Lions & Tigers & Bears, Oh my" Well Luna Grill in Oxnard has me like... "Falafel & Pita & Kabobs, Oh. My. GAWDD!!!" Talk about that flavor! Talk about their presentation!! Talk about how Luna Grill has absolutely nailed it!!! What I love best about this type of cuisine is there is something for everyone. You want meat?? Pick your poison! Beef, Chicken, Lamb...They. got. You. Pescatarian?? Did somebody say Salmon!!! Vegetarian you say?? Salads, Bowls, Wraps, beyond burger...shall I go on? WHAT!! You're A Vegan!!! Sorry all we have for you is... Falafel, sampler plates, organic hummus, seasoned fries, stuffed grape leaves, salads... Oh and if you're a kid, Get ready to do the happy dance with their kids kabob, kids cheeseburger, kids Gyro plate or their kids pita melt. See, I told you they have something for everybody =) So the next time you find yourself in the Nard' (Oxnard), make your way over to Luna Grill at the Collection at get your Mediterranean on! read more

We had the best meal! Two of us are gluten free, and Brad was quick to provide an allergen menu and share that need with the kitchen staff to prevent cross-contamination. My Luna Vida Salad bowl was delicious and the kids loved their gyro bowls. The ambience was perfect, the restaurant was clean and nicely lit with roll down shades shielding our eyes from direct sunlight, and the music was just right for the mood. We'll definitely be back! read more

Fell in love with this Mediterranean place ever since I had it for the first time when I lived in orange county. I came across this one while I was exploring the collection in oxnard. I had the chicken pita wrap with a salad and my husband I shared the appetizer sampler that comes with pita bread, celery, and carrot sticks and 3 different dips. A garlic dip, a spicy hummus, and a green hummus that tastes like pesto. That sampler was delicious! My husband got the same chicken pita wrap but with fries. Their soda fountain machine isn't operating right now, but they have bottled drinks for sale. It's right in the collection by Target. I would come back here again even for just the sampler. It's to die for! read more

My first time at Luna Grill, it was very clean and Brad and Bri were very nice . Thank you for such great customer service.

Best falafel pita sandwich from any Luna Grill! Service is excellent and the staff oh so friendly!

First impressions are everything. And this was not great. The portions made me sad. For a little less than $14, the picture is what I got. This is the pricing for ground sirloin kabob and chicken. You have to choose between salad or hummus. I'm from SFV and there are a ton of Mediterranean and middle eastern cuisines that serve more for less. SFV is in the LA area and considerably more expensive than Oxnard, so I don't understand the pricing. The thing that rly messed it up for me is the lady who took my order. She said was on the older side, with short hair. She was very rude-- my friend brought it up afterwards without even me mentioning it so I took that as validation that it wasn't in my head. All I did was ask whether the hummus came with the salad, and I received a very annoyed response. The couple they served after, apparently were god's angels because my friend noticed that the cashier was smiling and being so nice, no hint of annoyance! Lastly, I waited for 15-20 min which is fine but I noticed they weren't calling my name, so I went up to inquire about my order. Another lady (not the same one, this person was actually very sweet) gave me a bag that had actually been sitting there for the past 5 min already. No one had bothered to tell me it was ready. I was just in the back of the store waiting and looking right at them the whole time. Honestly, I still found the food to be delicious so don't get that part wrong and I can even understand if prices are expensive. It's a pandemic so it's tough on everyone-- totally get it!! Please go if you like it. However, my personal experience was so terrible, I can't go back. I'm only one customer, and according to them I don't really matter, so all is good I guess. read more

Luna Grill Oxnard - Ground Sirloin Kabob Plate - Mediterranean Near Me - Oxnard, California

I ordered takeout tonight. The service and the inside of the restaurant are both good/+. The calming decor has neutral woods, and lower lighting etc. This would be pleasant place to eat after busy errands at the Collection. My boss often uses Luna Grill for work catering so I'm familiar with the taste, but I haven't seen what else they offer on the menu. I got a pita gyro wrap with fries. The food quality and taste is good and I was surprised how generous the meat portion was, BUT for takeout, I felt my food temps were barely warm. The gyro was also quite DRY. There was sauce, but not enough. The fries were not fresh and also were lukewarm, but still had some crispiness. They're highly seasoned with salt and flavorful- like really good McDonald style fries. So overall I can tell the food is good, but sometimes their food can come out not hot and fresh tasting. It was moderately steady busy, but no long lines or fully seated at tables. read more

We always enjoy our visit to Luna Grill Oxnard. Unfortunately today we were very disappointed. The pita bread seemed a day old and microwaved. Overall, the rest was of our meal was excellent - just disappointed with the pita. I hope they make corrections to fix this . read more

Ordered vegan salad with side of pita bread --first time ever ordering from here. Figured it'd be great cause it was pricey for two items... pretty mid salad and they forgot my pita bread. Never ordering from here again. read more

We ordered two Gyro Pita wraps, no water and it was just under $20. The bathroom was clean which I appreciate. Also the restaurant was very ADA accommodating and made it easier to push my grandmother in her wheelchair. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day and The Collections was very busy so it was perfect for people watching. The staff was nice and brought the food to us outside. The food took about 15 minutes and the fries where crispy but a little over salted. The gyro was a little dry even with the added sauce. Not sure why they changed her the sauce into a chipotle sauce, I prefer the original. I would call Luna Grill more on the upper side of fast food, not authentic Mediterranean food. Can be a good place to start as an intro to that type of food. read more

I'm actually not a huge fan of Mediterranean food, however the menu here is actually quite diverse. I appreciate the variety of choices..they even have a beyond burger on the menu! I got the Kale salad. I've had Kale salads at many different places, and usually it's some kale tossed into a bed of cabbage, lettuce, etc. This is a REAL Kale salad - the only greens are actual Kale. The dressing was nice and light, and the figs and grapes balanced out the acidity of the Kale. It was one of the best Kale salads I've ever had. My only small gripe is the portion size, I wish it was slightly larger. Otherwise, I would highly recommend! read more
