First time eating in the restaurant. Had tried it at a catering event and really liked it. I had the gyro plate, brother and his daughter both had the double protein chicken and koobideh kabob plate. Everything was great. The rice was delicious. My brother is a "rice" guy and he loved it. He was wishing the portion was bigger, while I was trying to give him half of mine. Haha. So good! Prices are a little higher than I expect for what you receive, but the food is amazing. I've only had the food delivered or picked it up on my way to a friend's house, so I can't speak to the on site experience. The food is always delicious and full of flavor. Luna grill is a nice and seemingly healthy option when you are unsure what you want. I can say I've eaten there and ordered from there somewhere between 15-20 tomes over the past 2-4 years (sorry time/years are a bit blurry. Covid) they are good, give them a try and decide for yourself. I think you will definitely keep them in your options for a quick delicious dinner delivery or take out or eat in. I am so upset and disgusted with the order I just picked up!!!! I ordered 2 family meals & 1 order of their so called "loaded fries". Well, let me start by saying that the meat I ordered was NOT the meat I thought I was ordering. When I asked for steak, I was given ground beef!!! The chicken was still red and the rice was undercooked and hard!!!! The salad was also disgusting! Looked and tasted like it was on the verge of expiring!!!!!! They have a great selection of options including bowls, dinner plates, gyros and various meats including a new garlic lemon chicken which is both aromatic and tasty. Service is great and they always ask if everything is good. Ambiance is fine, pretty typical fast dining, but the patio is a nice extra. read more

I thought the place was nice and clean. You seat yourself with a number on your table. The chicken was good but a little dry you had to eat it at the time of serving it or it will be dry when it cools down. The gyro meat was very dry and I couldn't tell what kind of meat it was. Went today for the first time. Liked the menu and the service was great. Restaurant itself was very clean which is a plus. We ordered a variety of things to try. - Chicken kabob and gyro plate- not bad, middle of the road. - Hummus- good would give 4 stars - Spinach pie- excellent - Chopped Arugala salad- Eh, came with no dressing - Quinoa tabouleh- Good but too minty Also I feel they need some kind of garlic or tahinni sauce you can order on the side. So over all it was OK, if I was really needing my Mediterranean fix and this was the closest I would go back. Wouldn't make a special trip back for it. read more

I ordered it as a meal for one with a side of rice and I was full half way through so now I have lunch for tomorrow. The falafel's were the best I've ever had, I was going to substitute them out for vegetables because I've never had a great falafel but now I have a new favorite place! The husband ordered the chipotle chicken wrap in the pita and said it was good also. The fries were yummy and hot. The kids each had the quesadilla and finished it. Usually other places they arrive full of grease and the kids never eat it all. I'd say it was the perfect portion for a child. The layout of the place is kinda weird. Entering through the main door you walk past other patrons tables while they are eating. The line starts right past a table and if it's a long line people are lining up next to those tables you first walk past. There is no trash can by the front of store so you have to walk past more people to clear your table. I love the tables, chairs and flooring. The ambiance is inviting and cozy, fast food meets sit down restaurant. We love it! read more

I ordered the Falafel with tzatziki and a salad. The salad was fresh and the dressing tasty. However, the falafel was so dry I could barely chew it. They need to update their photographs, as the falafel was nothing like I have been used to from other restaurants in the past. They always were shaped like meatballs and very tender, Luna's were fashioned like fat quarters, flat and DRY. The tzatziki however, was delicious. I just moved to Oxnard and hoped Luna lived up to its high reviews. Sorry Luna. I'll try elsewhere. read more
