DO NOT GO HERE RUN IN ANY OTHER DIRECTION…read moreafter scheduling originally a service at my home, they canceled because of the weather and I had to drive to their horrible office. First of all, I had to get this done in the AM to be able to get done other things. I was not prepared to LEAVE my home when they called saying I had to come in instead of a home service so I had not eaten anything and could only grab a protein drink and get on the road. In the video they send "please prepare for your appointment" it says this is a 30 to 60 minute JOB INCLUDING SETTING OF THE GLUE. THIS TOOK over 2.5 HOURS! I was livid. I would have ubered home and back if I had known or had someone pick me up?! Let alone all the glass shards all over my dash and MISSING ANTENNA THEY HAVE TO REPLACE. This place was disgusting in the waiting room and it was early AM. Do they ever clean it? Did we not just have a pandemic? Uncomfortable armed chairs provided terrible positioning to relax or do my morning stretches. Sun shining in on gross beige walls and now grey salt covered floors. Bathroom was out of date too but at least seemed clean and not many ladies on site to use it anyways. Just avoid this location at all costs. If they are assigned to you, cancel your appointment and go to another location or a different shop. UPDATE ONE THEY CAME OUT WITH NO ANTENNA SAYING THEY THOUGHT MINE JUST NEEDED TO BE SCREWED BACK ON? how incompetent are these people. Your reply is BS. "service at no cost" the cost is my time for a 4 hour window to be AVAILABLE TO FIX UR MISTAKES

After getting in my first automotive altercation (rear-ended on 35W), I visited three different…read moreauto body repair shops to estimate the damage to my bumper and paint work. Those first three shops were on recommendation from the guy who hit me, a very anxious man who had never been in an accident before and was trying to handle things sans insurance. After all three body shops said that the repair would cost more than the dude could afford out of pocket, I was tired, frustrated, and feeling ambivalent about having my car done at the places I had visited. I got the recommendation for Lehman's from a friend who said that he and his brother both had good experiences at two of their seven locations (the Downtown and Savage locations only do auto body repair, but they will shuttle your car to one of their other locations if you also need service and maintenance). The people at Lehman's Garage provided prompt, personable, and professional service. I was impressed with the service I received; there's clearly a focus on customer service. The administrative assistant was friendly and competent. Jim, the person handling my repair, was accessible by email and phone and called me when my repair was finished. Best of all, he had the awesomest Minnesota accent! I also like how you can sign up to check on the status of your repair on their website, complete with pictures of the progress. One suggestion would be to make the website a little more secure; anyone can access the photos to your repair and there may be identifiable information like license plate numbers in the photos. In the end, I was happy with the repair and paint job. Granted, I know very little about cars, but it looked good to me! Would I recommend Lehman's? Oh yah, you becha!

Horrible experience with this body shop. Lehman's Downtown was on the list of approved body shops…read morefrom my insurer, so I expected good treatment. But I had to bring my car in to them for estimates twice and, after three weeks, they still hadn't written up an estimate for repair. Nor did they ever contact me, even though they had my email and cellphone number. I finally had to have my insurer call them and confirm they hadn't done anything even when, twice, they'd told me they'd upload an estimate within a few hours. After wasting three weeks with Lehman's Downtown, I went to another bodyshop, which did an estimate in 40 minutes and immediately uploaded the figures to my insurer. I heard back from my insurer three hours later. So I wouldn't go to Lehman's Downtown unless you have a high tolerance for delay, poor communication, and getting the run-around. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but I chose Lehman's Downtown partly based on the positive feedback on Yelp, so I thought it was important for people to know they don't always live up to that praise.

Well it grew into a 16 inch crack within 24 hours. I opened a claim with my insurance assuming I had no deductible glass coverage. Apparently I don't. My deductible was higher than the cost of glass....so off I went to start shopping. I was able to get 1 online quote from another company that seemed pretty reasonable based on what the insurance company told me. Then I decided I could find out more shopping on Yelp. I work evenings and nights so I was very grateful to be able to work with a customer service rep over email. Mary was always very responsive to my questions and scheduling an appointment. She gave me a quote that was nearly $100 less than all the other quotes and they would be able to come to me for service. The technician assigned to me was John. He is a customer service dream! Kind, genuine and communicated all the information in a very easily understandable fashion. My garage has a low clearance and he took extra care to make sure that his vehicle would not cause any damage. It seems like an obvious thing, however, there are some really heavy damage on our garage doors because people don't take the extra time to see if they really fit. The whole thing from the time he called to tell me he was on the way to the end was 45 minutes. The glass is great (actually shows now how dirty the rest of my car is...). I had all the "dos and don'ts" post installation. They took my credit card and was processed at the beginning of the job. I would gladly and highly recommend Glass Today. Ignore the 1-star guy. Mary follow up after the job was complete to make sure my experience was good. All-in-all, it's just how customer service should be!!

It is mechanically sound, it has only 26,800 miles on the odometer and its factory fire-engine-red paint looks to be unfaded. At age 90, I'm sure it will outlast me I had my first accident earlier this winter, and it was nasty. A chunk of ice left by a snowplow got trapped under my front bumper cover and split it six ways from Sunday. Attached pix show the BEFORE and AFTER left-side split--the right-side damage was twice as bad (sorry, the BEFORE pic won't upload). Two indie body shops would replace the bump cover and paint it for $1,000. As I drove to Oscar Auto Body for a third estimate, I pretty much figured it would come in with a $1K replacement, too. Owner Ramin Hakimi did, but then he suggested another way. He would weld the splits from the underside of the cover and brush-touch the paint. "You'll be able to see the tiny seam where the splits meet," he said,' but the casual observer won't notice any difference." Cost? $370. This plan's potential savings led me to show Ramin some surface damage to my rear bump cover, incurred some time ago when I backed into a brick wall too low to see. He'd take care of this cosmetic damage for $89 (Collision Bonilla wanted $700!). Attached pix shows AFTER. I chose to have both front and rear ends done, and I couldn't be happier with the work done, including the paint match. My choice made Ramin happy, too, because as an environmentalist he hates having to trash big pieces of fiberglass (his shop was one of the first in the city to transition to water-based or low-volatile organic compound (low-VOC) paint). I went to a family gathering last Sunday. I pulled into the driveway behind my brother, a perfectionist mechanical engineer. Walking over to my Civic, he said, "I see you decided to pop for a new bumper cover." Nuff said. Finally, I want to say that I wholeheartedly agree with the many online reviewers who found Ramin extraordinary. He is forthright and will give you his undivided personal attention as well as a more-than-fair price. He did not patronize me as so often happens with women drivers or discount my input because of my advanced age. We all want an honest estimator, and Ramin Hakimi is IT. Re photos, unfortunately I don't have Before pix of right front damage, which had worse bump cover splits than left front. No Before pix of rear either.
