Google says they offer notary service and also that they are 24/7 so I purposely walked over to support a neighborhood business in Japantown around 8:30 am on a week day but was only greeted by an angry guard dog and a locked door. I have used Luna Bail Bonds a couple times and have been extremely satisfied with the service both times. The first time, was when my brother was arrested for a DUI, they were so helpful and got him out within a couple of hours. The second time my friend had a warrant, she went by after work which was late at night and Jordi took care of her and another one of our friends warrants right away. He was very professional and just great customer service and did his best to work with them on payments and such. NOT 24 hour live scan. We walked in at 7:38 and were told no one was there and to come back at 8:00. Can't stand a place that offers a service and then doesn't provide the service. The office is gross with the stench of cigarette smoke. I'm completely disgusted. read more

Just went to get my live scan done. 24hourlivescan.com I think? Something like that but you do have to call ahead of time to see if they are in. I ended up not getting mine done yet, however, Nicole was very helpful and friendly. She also told my boyfriend about the veterans grant for a guard card. We had no idea he could get it for free. I came in yesterday in desperate need of a Notarized form. I did not have the form and Monica was nice enough to allow me to use their computer to download the form. I had went to other places where they just sent me away. While on the computer I observed Monica with other customers that also seemed to be in a tough situation. NOT A 24 HOUR LIVE SCAN as advertised. After smoking out the building with cigarettes, the curmudgeon told us no one was here to do live scan notwithstanding the fact they advertise 24 hour service. You could go so far with a kind and professional attitude -- but apparently business is good enough here that you don't have to worry about that. I would never return. read more

When my friend got arrested for a DUI and was called at midnight to help him get out, I did not know what to do when I found Luna Bail Bonds and spoke to Jose, he explained every detail of how bail worked and what the process would be I felt so much better.
