Horrible return service, Solid Apollo is selling a product that does NOT work in the United States…read more- Refuses to admit fault - requires customer to pay return fees (details below) ------ As per the datasheet on Solid Apollo's website, the LT-ZW-01 runs on the 868.42 MHz Z-Wave frequency. https://www.solidapollo.com/PDF/Z-Wave-LED-Dimmer-Controller.pdf https://imgur.com/a/yms0OYI According to the Z-Wave Alliance website, the authorized frequency for Z-Wave in the United States and Canada is 908.42 MHz. https://www.z-wave.com/faq (under the How does Z-Wave work? section). Solid Apollo refuses to acknowledge that the device is NOT compatible with Z-Wave controllers in the United States, as specified directly by the Z-Wave Alliance. I requested a refund, and they provided me with an RMA number, but are insisting that I pay for the shipping back! As a reminder, this is not a regular return, but rather a return which is being made solely due to the fact that the item is not compatible with the Z-Wave Alliances approved frequency used within North America (USA & Canada). As far as Solid Apollo's service is concerned, it is fine, but their understanding is clearly lacking. In the future, my company will not do business with them.

I asked for a refund and was told I had to send everything back in its original box and in good condition. I no longer had the box for one of the two transformers I needed to return so after a few emails back and forth they told me I could only get one refunded (each is $200 ...) For which I had to pay myself for a return... So I did that, packed my transformer, paid for shipping, and followed up via email after I had no news from them.... They told me I won't be able to get a refund because one of the screws was missing. In a world where Amazon is the gold standard, having a company that is stingy on return is gonna have a tough time succeeding.. They can keep my $200 transformer and definitely lost a customer... I don't recommend them to anyone.

I read the reviews on Yelp and I thought it was a safe bet. Reading Tim D's review now from…read more3/11/24, it sounds the same. I arranged for them to diagnose a possible broken connection. The tech they sent spent an hour looking around, trying to find the problem. He said he couldn't solve it but we still got charged $411. He said he would have to send someone else. Any estimate for the job? No - he couldn't even make an estimate. When I called Adam, he said they would send a more experienced tech. Why not send someone qualified the first time? What about the charge for showing up and not doing anything? "That's our normal fee?" So, will we be charged for a new estimate? "It's still $250 to show up." Really? I told him we didn't want them anymore and we would like at least a partial refund. He agreed to a refund of $125, but the refund didn't come. I called again and he said they had a miscommunication. Now it would be sent. Still no refund ... We found a new person, a handyman - he said it was challenging, but he found the broken connection and he only charged us $250. Mirsky? Never again ...
