I brought my sister to get her nails done for the time ever... We don't regret it! When we walked in the tech that was there was a little shy but as the appointment went on she opened up and even started joking around with us. We didn't know exactly what we were wanting but she didn't get annoyed or impatient when were having trouble making up our mind. The customer service is great, nail techs communicate and ask preferences before perform any service. Extremely sanitize, I saw nail techs constantly use bleach to clean the pedicure tub. I feel super safe when soak my feet in their pedicure tub. Just give them the direction, what you like and what you don't like, they will please you. I went in for a simple pedi, very last minute, and they were able to get me in immediately! I ended up getting a pedi with hot wax, hot towels, heel treatment, exfoliating scrub, moisturizer, painted toenails and everything in between. My feet look and feel amazing! When I got to the shop there was only was nail tech (Nancy) and no customers. Very odd for a Saturday at 11:20am. I commented about the lack of customers and Nancy said she had just opened. They advertise open at 10. I had a basic pedicure. During the pedicure she cut me pretty bad-bleeding wld not stop for several minutes. She did apologize. She also cut my toe nails too short. I had hoped I'd get a discount due to the injury but did not. I was surprised that no other customers came rhe whole time I was there . I won't return. read more

My friend took me to luminous nails for my first time almost a year ago with the previous owner and I loved her- she was so amazing and my nails lasted forever I can't say enough good things about her, now the new owners I can't say the same thing for, I decided to give them a chance because I was already there but I really wish I hadn't, the lady that did my nails at first was obviously new at it and took FOREVER and was very unsure of what she was doing, the other lady was working on someone else and when she was done she took over on doing my nails (thank god) by this time my nails are lumpy and the underneath is filled with acrylic because of the messy job she did and I've been cut multiple times by now and I really just wanted to leave, so I let the other lady finish my nails and they somehow convince me to do shellac for some higher price but at this point I just agree because I just want to leave. So the lady continues to do my nails, doing a much better and much faster job than the previous lady- so I'm getting a little hopeful that maybe this wasn't a total bust, I hear them talking about eyelash extensions- which I've wanted to try for awhile and they seem to be a decent price so I ask if they can do them for me after my nails, after my nails are done (they look a little lumpy but I didn't want to say anything) they said for my nails including the shellac, and the eyelash extensions it would only be 65$ and I said hey that's a good deal so I guess I could deal with a little bit of lumpy nails, so I go to the back to get my eyelash extensions and they take a little while but I'd rather her take the time over rushing of course , so when they're done I look in the mirror and they look great and I'm very pleased with them for the price , then I go up to pay and one of the ladies tells me it's 88$ and I'm back to being irritated and I pay her the 88$ and give them both a tip and then I leave. A few days later and my eyes are very irritated by the eyelash extensions but it could be because I just have sensitive eyes but man do they hurt and they're a little pussy and the eyelashes are falling out - not pleased at all, and my nails a week later look like I need a 4 week fill- NOT COOL so I was a bit overcharged and my nails and eyes look awful- I will NOT be going back ever again. read more

My experience happened back in March and I have not been back since. This was a new spot for me and it looked sketchy in my opinion, but I went for convenience because my car was next door getting an oil change. Very nice lady. I had the privilege to get my pedi done by the owner. She was polite and talked to me. She even upgraded my pedi free of charge. All seems great right? Wrong. After a couple of weeks of having my pedi done, I took off my polish. My two big toenails started looking funny. It looked as if I had two big bubbles in each toe. I figured it was because I had my polish on for too long and didn't think too much of it, until my nail started thickening. Now Oct. and I haven't had a pedi since, my big nails are thick and seperating from my skin. I finally file them down and go see a podiatrist. He asked me where was my last pedi because I picked up a fungus. Without evening knowing I get pedi's he already knew. I am now on medication fighting this fungus. Never will return again. I advise you ladies, be aware and take caution, not just at this location but any location, because it can happen to anyone. I normally ask to see the sanitation log of the tubs, but that day I didn't. I wish I had. Always always always ask to see the sanitation log. By state law the logs need to be in clear view at each station and logged in after each use. read more
