Alas, we were another victim of this promising company that does NOT follow through with their promises. We got our solar installed, the panels they use do not produce as promised, and the company guaranteed to fix the issue if we did not get the energy out of them. We went with a 135% system to overproduce, yet we are still paying around $200-$300/month. When attempting to contact both Chris and Apryl, they both ghosted us, will not reply to calls, and Apryl has now changed both her numbers. I sure hope that anyone that gets their knock on their door promising to match or beat others prices, just says NO. They did also promise to do our side yards with turf on both sides of our home, and have had zero reply to us when we have attempted to contact them to have the work done. Did you all know that their license has been suspended for commiting fraud? They were supposed to do a landscape job to the front and back of our house. We have been fighting with them since July of 2023. They received over $23,000, which they claimed they did not receive. I just now got the paperwork from the registrar of contractors, saying as such. Do not trust Aldo Arroyo the owner or any other person working there. He actually came to my house and lied about everything. He should also be in jail, not just suspended his license. read more

These people are dishonest and do not deserve to stay in operation!...I am a retired disabled woman veteran that has been egregious taken advantage of as a new homeowner. April and Aldo are intentionally deceptive and liars. April and Aldo made promises and intentions of completing my backyard and Solar together as a bundle. They have scammed for 100,000 dollars! They have installed a system only worth 20,000 and have then disappeared and refused to complete my backyard and give a cost breakdown... I have been trying to contact them in regards to demand taking these panels off my home and refund the Solar loan.... I have been dealing with this financial crisis since Dec 2024. I am now turning to take legal action against Luminous Builders LLC & Luminous Energy LLC. I Also plan on going to the news about this company. The address they are using is a physical location but they do not have ownership of this place and therefore also will be looked into! PLEASE READ THEIR BBB reviews andGoogle! Do not work with them! I had my solar installation done the end of December 2023. That part of the purchase was done according to plan. When the sales person did approach me with this solar initiative I was misled in a few areas. I was told that landscaping could be included with no charge as I had a pretty small area to be completed. I was not going to use any grass so just would've been desert scheme. When they did answer my calls or return a call or email about when the landscaping was going to start there is always an excuse. Too much rain or too hot or you're not on the schedule. it is in your contract, but there is no timeline for when it has to be completed. I was in contact with them January thru October. Always hopeful. Then I got a phone call in October last year that they were going to begin with the process of starting the landscaping. That was the last time I heard from anyone ...no one has contacted me. No one has reached out to me, so then I realize that it was just a big lie. I do not understand why the landscaping was ever talked about if it was never going to be a reality in the beginning? they also talk about a rebate that you will get from the state at a percentage of how much your overall cost is for the solar installation. It is true there are tax benefits. There's only minimal amount that you can receive on your state tax return on a yearly basis. Buyer Beware. read more

Brace yourselves, this is going to be a long one. If I could leave a negative star I would, our experience with luminous builders specifically Chris and Aldo has been terrible. It started with them going door to door in our new build neighborhood promising 300 sqft free of grass or pavers which we never got. They then quoted us $13,000 to complete a project that was discussed extensively multiple times, while it was a bit pricier than the other quote we got my boyfriend is an HVAC contractor and they discussed a future partnership with him so we went with them. After a date to start was set and requiring us to release the funds from the financing company so they could buy material (dumb on our part to do but was written in our contract and is understandable) they went ghost on us not replying. When they finally answered after the date they were supposed to start they said that information was incorrectly given to us nonetheless they started a week later. Then they completed only about 300 sqft of pavers when the entire job that was discussed was more than that closer to 800 sqft. Come to find out they weaseled the contact and put only 500 sqft into the contract which they still didn't even complete. They have the WORST communication of any business I have ever dealt with often ignoring calls, making scammy moves, and not showing up on multiple scheduled occasions without letting us know. They also installed grass which was in the contract but they did it INCORRECTLY at a slope, not level, and terrible looking, when we watered it would all pool on the slope! What a joke. Oh also they left contractor trash as well as a pile of material in front of our house for weeks which eventually became an HOA problem that we had to pay 240$ for junk removal to come get. When we raised a concern about this and about finishing the job we were then told by one of the girls that works there that she was FIRED for questioning why they put incorrect ROC numbers (commercial GC and electric) on our contract- also came to find out that all of their ROC numbers have open cases with the residential general contractor one that they intentionally did not put on having 16 and being ACTIVELY suspended when they started work on our home. Needless to say we had to find another company to complete the job costing us extra money at now $17,440 total with their contract STILL unfulfilled. I'm sure they will try to drown out my review with their fake good reviews so just beware and be careful!! Don't trust this scam of a company and give your money to literally anyone else. read more
