I had Kenny come out and give me an estimate for painting the exterior of my house, replace my side utility door to the garage. He was very thorough, knew exactly what I needed done, right down to scraping and painting. My foundation with Drylock. I had other bids as well. I hired Kenny because he seemed to be very knowledgeable on the procedure and what was going to be done. He took pictures to ensure everything got put back as it was on my walls and patio. As I was also having my patio redone that wasn't an issue. His crew showed up as scheduled for the power washing, then came back and pulled all the rock from the foundation, patched stucco, nailed areas as needed, re-placed the door and painted. Don't not use them! Jorge came out and gave me a quote immediately but then strung me along for 2 weeks without getting back to me on a start date. Once given and the date upcoming, he was difficult to reach and confirm the start time. Night before he was unable to give an ETA and day of the crew didn't show and he was "unable" to reach them. I reached out to Kenny who promised to make it right but then failed to respond or update throughout the day. we have had a TON of issues with this company. We paid $1300 for them to caulk all windows and doors as well as paint the entire home. Caulking was supposed to take 1 day. Caulking alone ended up taking 3 days because my husband came home everyday and said parts of the windows weren't caulked and they STILL didn't do it right. We had a storm come and my kitchen window started leaking. I then had to hire a roofer because I thought it was the roof. (Paying more money) then the roofer said it was because the painting people didn't caulk right. Sooo you're telling me caulking took 3 days and it still wasn't done right. This then caused water damage to the inside of my window seal. We called the painting company he said he would have someone come fix it. THEN when the guy comes to fix the wood that was damaged from the storm he cut the pieces of wood wrong so now my window seal has huge gaps. Not to even mention the guy that put the wood in didn't caulk it so I had to do the caulking and painting of the window seal. ALSO the guy threw my backsplash tiles away while cleaning up his mess so now I'm missing tiles. Also the paint was in our rocks and skirting of mobile home. It was a mess. The owner kept promising alot of things like gift cards and what not to compensate for all the mess ups we had but $1300 and this is what we got? Are you kidding me. I have a 5 year contract and the same window a year later is still leaking because they couldn't caulk right. I called and Kenny started cussing my dad out because he doesn't feel he should have to fix it. We have a contract. Specifically says 5 years for paint and caulking. I contacted Alex after having a horrible experience using a handyman to paint some of my house. I needed some really detailed things done that I knew would require someone with a high skill level. He came out and gave me an honest quote. He showed up on time and included me in every bit of the process. Various times he stopped to show me what he was doing to make sure that I was happy with the results. I can tell that he really wants his customer to be happy and will do whatever it takes to make sure that there is a good result. He even cleaned up the dust on my floor after he was finished. I have NEVER had any type of worker in my house that has ever offered to clean up after they are finished. Usually they leave the mess for me so I greatly appreciated it. I will use this painter again. He was responsible and easy to work with. I am very picky about things so it was nice to have someone make sure I was involved in the process. I highly recommend Kenny @ ACN Painting LLC. I received his estimate and was impressed with his knowledge and the pricing seemed fair. I had two other estimates, but both companies were not real clear in their quoting process and explaining the job. The three young men that did my job were very polite & patient(which my wife appreciated), taking time to answer all her questions. The job is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. They over promise & under deliver. Work is shoddy & sloppy. Worse customer service I have experienced in a long time. Do not keep appointments or confirm so they show up when they want to with no notice. They leave a mess and are inconsiderate with personal property -a lot of damage to my items & plants. The jobs (painting, stucco, concrete, door install) are not expert quality as they claim. They lie when they say they fixed something when its obvious they didn't even touch it. Every visit they say they have ordered the window screen and it will arrive in a couple of days -I doubt the order has even been placed. Also tried to deny they broke the Ring doorbell but the video was there to prove it. They didn't cover the cracks so they are still there, doesn't appear that they used primer where needed or prepped enough or did the two coats because the paint is already peeling on both the wood & the stucco. There are areas where they completely missed and even though I have pointed them out and they say they will take care of they have not. I paid for the upgraded paint and I don't think it was used throughout as I saw cans of paint of the basic quality in my yard. Even though I provided details of my HOA requirements along with my paint choices they painted the trim & accents the wrong color. They were upset about their mistake and tried to place the blame on me. Also tried to convince me that the colors they chose were better. They said the job would take 4 days, we are now on Month 3. I made the mistake of paying them for the paint job not realizing they were going to give me the run around and ignore me. I have been trying to contact them repeatedly to finish the job and I haven't heard back in days. The last time they were here I thought they would complete the job but they did not. It seems like I have to tell them step by step and hold their hand for them to correct the job. After multiple visits they are still not done & when they come back they fix a couple of things then it's such a huge effort to get them to come back. I signed the contract on July 3rd and they are still not finished. They did not have the lowest estimate but I hired them because I wanted a quick & professional job but I definitely did not get that. Writing this review in hopes that they will make things right. Working with this company is a double-edged sword. On one side--the painters do good work when they are at the property. On the other side-- getting them to the property can be quite difficult. A representative of the company painted the garage door and, as I said, did good work. As such, earlier this year, I sent the owner an email message about painting the gate at our home. Responded promptly with a price. I apparently had a few too many follow-up questions because, despite a few attempts on my part, I never again heard from him. Figuring that the owner of the company simply forgot about my email messages I let it go and did the work myself. About a month ago I sent the owner an email message to ask for a quote to paint a portion of our house. As before I heard from him in short order. He wanted to visit the house and with me, the purpose of doing so being to ensure we were both on the same page of the playbook. That's understandable. He was a no-show on the date and time set. I followed-up with an email message. He responded asking for another date and time and one was set. Again no-show. I sent an email message asking if he was still interested in the work. He responded yes. Another date and time was set, but prior to it arriving he asked to postpone it to the following week. No problem. That agreed upon date and time arrived and, again, no-show. I sent another email message. He responded explaining that some unexpected circumstances arose. He suggested another date and time. He failed to appear, and I haven't heard from him. Seeing as I have better things to with my time other than repeatedly wait around the house for someone to not show-up, I've moved on. read more

We first contacted ACN Painting after having a bad experience with a another painter who left paint on our new hardwood floors. We were initially impressed by the owner's, Alex, responsiveness and checked with the references he provided. We contracted his services to complete some interior painting (trim & doors and the walls in the kitchen) & drywall work (closing a hole where a medicine cabinet used to be). During the job, we found the owner's behavior to be somewhat erratic, but for the most part he seemed to work hard. We did have to remind him to protect the floors, which was irritating since he knew about our previous disappointment. After they were done and we were able to clean up and inspect the work a bit better we found a number of issues - 1. Some of the doors he painted were peeling; 2. We had scratches in many areas and more paint on our hardwood floors; and 3. The drywall patch was horrible. We contacted Alex about these issues and he agreed to come out take a look and do what he could to fix them. We declined his offer to help with the floors as we were not confident that he would do it well and feared more damage. We did however, allow him to fix the peeling paint. The drywall still looks like a 3 year old did it. Against our better judgement and partially due to his responsiveness, we gave Alex a second chance and allowed him to complete the exterior painting of our home. This was BIG MISTAKE! The paint job is okay and we hope that it lasts. Here are a number of issues that resulted from ACN doing this work: 1. Overspray on rocks & other landscaping; 2. Paint chips (large ones at that) left all over the property including our brand new patio roof; 3. 8 broken roof tiles on our brand new roof; 4. Removal of chicken wire used to deter pigeons; 5. A large stucco hole left unpatched which resulted in an infestation of bees. We were told that surfaces would be covered and landscaping would be protected as best as possible. This was obviously not done. They also did not take the time or care to clean up after themselves. When we noticed the broken roof tiles and mentioned them, Alex flat out denied responsibility and said it must have been the people who replaced the windows (NOTE: 2 broken tiles were near windows. The remaining 6 were in an area of the roof that only the painter had walked to reach the trim). When I noted that the chicken wire was not put back correctly he doubted that it was installed differently and even tried to argue with me on one of the areas that it was missing (NOTE: the roofer later found it balled up and sitting on top of the roof near the eave in question). The quote included patching all cracks and stucco holes. About 1 month after the painting was completed we found bees were coming into our house. The bee exterminator located the approximately 1-2 inch stucco hole where the bees were able to access the house and create a hive. He estimated that the bees had been there about 1 week. Had Alex done his job properly and as promised the bees would have never made it in our home. This experience was terrible. We have been left with poor workmanship and damage to our home. read more

I had ACN and Kenny Trett paint my house last April15. I did not ask for a discount but did say I am a Senior and living on my limited savings. Kenny quoted a good price that was the same as my neighbor who is a long time professional ( We live in a 55+ community) who was booked til next October and is a snowbird. I did not want to wait and had ACN instead. There were a few things his men need to correct and they have not made it back yet and it is now June 20th. I am giving Kenny the opportunity to fix these issues and trust he will do so soon. If Kenny was still actually one of the painters and not just the owner who has employees he has to trust, I am sure that everything would have been to my satisfaction. It is hard to trust employees to do the job as well as you would. I owned my own business for thirty years and know how hard it can be to keep customers happy. This business is at least 2hrs away from my home and had I known this at the time of hiring I might have chosen someone living in my town. His men were tired and hungry and had a long trip back to Goodyear and forgot to screw my awning back and in haste, put one shutter back on upside down, later causing two small window screens to rip due to a very stong windy storm that occurred a few days later. I called him at 9PM and he sent his brother from Phoenix right out ( in strong wind and rain) to secure the awning. He probably did not get home til midnight! That meant a lot to me. Kenny did come the next day and magically put the awning trim back up as it snapped in place. The screens still need a simple repair and doors touched up around edges but I trust this will be taken care of. Yes, I WOULD RECOMMEND Kenny and ACN, I might scold his #1 man, maybe fire or dock pay, in charge as it was his fault, not actually Kenny. I also did not like that his boss man smoked in my driveway. Kenny does not actually do the painting, and sadly, in this case his work is only as good as what that boss employee does and oversees. No worries, Kenny will make it right. There are two other reviews I did not write that have my name on them. The grammar is incorrect and has run on sentences, written by Home Advisor as I told him my experience. I am going to ask him to delete those reviews. I prefer to write them myself if at all. 4 out of 5 stars due to head employee. Throughout this experience we were both polite, no yelling or swearing. Mistakes happen and when fixed, no one should lose business over this. These reviews last a very long time and I think when a mistake is made,. the customer should be reasonable and give the company a chance to right the mistake; so this is what I am doing.. read more
