He was very knowledgeable and worked diligently and quickly to change all of our outdated outlets with ease. Here is a picture of him, adjusting our dining room light fixture to the proper height. We will definitely be using McGuire electric again! We could not recommend them highly enough!! Nice Job!

That convinced me they had confidence in their work and pricing. The job was very involved and had a couple of hiccups, but they corrected everything and it passed inspection from the city. Generally , the only time that happens is when there's a connection with the ground wire that is not properly installed or covered. So I turned off the power to the garage and started to remove the box. Water started coming out of the bottom of the box , which I realized at that time , they hadn't sealed the box properly. I couldn't find the receipt as to who did the work to call to come back and fix it.So I didn't want to touch any further and called a different electrical contractor. They came out and removed the box, which was severely rusted on the bottom.Actually, arc, on where the plug would go into the socket. And you couldn't even get one of the screws out because it was so badly rusted. I had to pay another almost five hundred dollars to have the box replaced again. That contractor told me, had it been done correctly.I wouldn't have had to change it for years. However, I also could have lost everything. My garage, everything in it.I have a swimming pool for what are caught my cars? My house and possibly even my life. I continued to search for the rreceopt nd finally found it. It was Royak oak , hitting and cooling , and cost me $429. So I contacted them. After several attempts speaking with rob and then the general manager Nick , I also sent them photographs and said I have the parts they said they would get back to me. Today Rob called to inform me that there's nothing they can do to help me that anything could've hit that box like a lawn mower, which is I'm because it's like 3 feet up off the ground. So I don't know how that would be possible or anything could have happened. I told him there was a garden in front of it , and he said if I were called down , they would have done the replacement for free , but there was nothing they could do about it now. Well, I don't know about anyone else, but would you want the company who almost burnt your property down to come back and redo it?? I told him that was fine.I'll file a complete with the state which is where I go next.I just wanted to leave my review, but I guess seeing how they only have 3 stars out of 5 it is very apparent that they don't put customers first. Maybe this will help to investigate their bad work ethics!

Resetting the breaker ... buzzed to indicate a short-circuit. What could it be? I had changed nothing. Nothing. The power had not failed to provoke a sympathetic failure. Hmmmm? I did a bit of trouble shooting myself; unplugging everything from the dark outlets to rule out an appliance internally shorting out. No joy. I checked each outlet and switch for signs of spark/arc'ing. Nope. I checked the working circuits to see if neutral had floated (a very dangerous condition that could easily lead to a fire). Nope. Time to call a professional. Karen was confident that they could arrive a bit after lunchtime. Caleb (journeyman) and Alex (apprentice) called to let me know they were enroute. It took a few hours of trouble-shooting to find the short. It was a wire to a stairway light installed by the previous homeowner. Caleb knows his trade well, very well. He was also great teacher, insuring that Alex grasped a proper trouble-shooting methodology. A family owned business since 1956. I will certainly use them again.

I called and was told that it would be a service fee if I couldn't find the key. Found the key and service techs came. Original installer missed turning on the activation switch or something. Weekly test was working again. Yesterday, at 11p the lights flickered, went off then back on the flicked again. Total power outage. Called left a message and then called after hours emergency number, which is Mike's, the owner, left 2 messages Generator did not come on. After lighting passed over, I used my iPhone light to read manual and at 1:30a I'm outside trying to start my generator with the iPhone light. Got it started and still no power. Got a call the next morning from chick in the office. I call her "chick" because she ultimately told me that the issue with my generator not working due to a brown out was not their problem and to contact Briggs and Stratton! REALLY!!!!! No 24 hr emergency service even though voicemail says if it's after hours and an emergency to call another number, Mike's number. I wasn't contacted until the next/this morning at about 7 o'clock and was told that someone would be out between nine and 10 they showed up at eight thirtyish and explain that the unit that I have is tricky and that when I had a brownout, which I didn't, the system couldn't fully detect that I was out of power so therefore it failed to power up! Mike did not tell me that I would have issues if I had a brownout, which I didn't, my generator would not start up. He suggested that they come out and show me how to reset it. After careful thought about it, I called him back and left him a voicemail that what if I'm handicapped what if I'm can't get outside to reset a generator that they installed. What if I'm not able to do that? I don't know his answer because I left a voicemail. All I know is that the chick in the office told me that it's not their problem and to contact Briggs & Stratton!! So after paying this expensive money for this generator and a yearly maintenance fee this year, there's no emergency service and they want to show me how to reset it. I don't think so. I should've bought a Generac. I'm a caregiver for my 92 year old mother and her air mattress on hospital bed just deflated was nothing I could do about it but wait until they woke up this morning to contact me and send somebody out to fix it! So terrible customer service by the chick the office. What kind of crap is that to tell a customer? I do not recommend Bratcher Electric but surely they don't care because they already have my money!!!

From the moment I reached out, they were responsive and got back to me quickly, which already set them apart from the rest. They handled a range of work for me including installing ceiling fans and new lights, updating existing outlets, and adding new outlets throughout the home. Everything was completed within a reasonable time frame. What really impressed me, though, was the quality and care they put into the actual work. I'll be upfront, I'm quite OCD when it comes to how things are done, and that has caused friction with tradespeople in the past. Not with Electrix. They took their time, were meticulous in how they carried out the job, and made sure everything was done neatly and properly rather than rushing through it. That attention to detail meant everything to me and is honestly rare to find. On top of that, their pricing was fair and in line with what other electricians in the area charge, no nasty surprises on the invoice. You're getting quality work at a competitive, reasonable rate. If you've been burned by long wait times or sloppy workmanship before, give Electrix a call. They've earned a loyal customer in me.
