The salesman I dealt with at the dealership tried to sell me a different car than what I was given information on. The sales manager I dealt with told me a year of registration came with the purchase. 4 months later, I still don't have permanent plates for my vehicle and the temp registration and plates are expired. DMV also just sent me registration renewal for my vehicle. So the dealership obviously didn't send my DMV fees paid during purchase to the DMV. I obviously am not getting the year of paid registration the manager told me I was getting. I have reached out to the dealership 4 times to try to talk to their DMV dept or a member of management. No return calls. No return emails. Nothing. DO NOT do business with these shady people!

Really Poor sales service from their management. They might not have made as much as they wanted, but just turning away thousands of dollars is a bad business decision. They did not even make an attempt to work with me. Weird thing is another dealership said they would match the price with their current inventory. This basically made me rethink buying a Honda pilot & buying a Toyota Highlander. Makes you think their motives are not purely business driven.

However, George and his business partner Julia completely eased my concerns, even answering my late-night questions. George walked me through every step of the process and did several virtual showings, being very honest--even pointing out tiny interior scratches most people wouldn't bother mentioning. I really appreciated their sales approach--never pushy, just focused on making the whole experience pleasant. I had originally planned to fly in and pick up the car, but due to the cost, I decided to have it shipped. George and his team went the extra mile, coordinating with the shipping company (even on weekends!) and teaching me a few money-saving tricks as an out-of-town buyer. George was extremely thorough, taking tons of photos as the car was loaded onto the delivery truck to ensure no damage. The car arrived exactly as described, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you, George and Julia, for making this such a fantastic buying experience--I'm absolutely loving my new car! I'd definitely purchase from SV Auto Sales again when the opportunity arises. Derek

I'm in Southern California…read moreand couldn't find the right one near me, so did a wider search and found one via Craigslist in Ata's lot. I'm already nervous about buying used cars, and even more nervous because it was too far away for me to look at. I read all these Yelp reviews for his business, and was impressed because he was rated higher than most used car dealerships. And he provided a free CarFax report, so I knew the car's history and was impressed it only had 2 owners over 24 years. I talked to Ata by phone about the car, then hired a mobile mechanic (also found through Yelp) in the Rancho Cordova area, and sent him in to inspect the car. Ata was very accommodating and tolerant of the mechanic's inspection and lengthy test drive, during which I was on the phone with the mechanic and Ata. I ended up buying the car, and Ata recommended a shipping option he's used that even cost less than what I could get through one of the national car transport companies. Ata took care of a small dent in the bumper before shipping the car, he included the 30-day drivetrain warranty noted on the Craigslist ad, handled all of the paperwork, and I ended up with a great car I'm thrilled to own! The man takes pride in the cars he "curates" for his business and is an honest gentleman. Truly a "Top Quality" operation.

‼ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE DEALERSHIP DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!‼ If I…read morecould give this place zero stars, I would. My husband and I bought a car here after being assured by the dealer that it was mechanically fine. That was a complete lie! Within 5 minutes of leaving the lot, the car started smoking on the highway and completely broke down. When we contacted the dealer, he claimed he "had no idea" what happened, but promised to check it out and fix it. The First "Fix" He told us it was fixed and gave it back. A little while later, it immediately developed another major problem. This time, his excuse was that "something must have fallen off." The Second "Fix" After supposedly fixing it again, we got the car back only for it to start rod knocking and suffer complete engine failure. Once the engine blew, the dealer completely ghosted us. The at-home buying process was seamless. First contact was Thursday morning and Friday evening the car was delivered. All the paperwork was handled via e-sign, and the team answered all of our questions along the way. To top it off, Stephen personally delivered the van right to our driveway in Elk Grove--even staying after regular work hours to ensure we got it. The finance manager, Eric, was also fantastic, working quickly late in the day to keep our delivery on track. A big thank you to Bailey as well for the highly attentive service.
