She has an eye for detail and will clean up your hands and feet like there's no tomorrow. Lux Nail Salon is pretty on the inside with a few other nail technicians that are also available. I believe it was $3 per nail extra for the cateyes. None of my nails have cat eyes at all. The reason may be, the polish that I chose was a little bit lighter than what was on my toes? So she says she will go over with a red(i agreed), but I assume that it would still have the effect of the cateye. However,it does not. She was very thorough and detail oriented. I opted for no polish this time, and she really did her best to make my nails look as neat as possible. There was so much cuticle and dead skin removed. She also spent a good amount of time on my foot and leg massage. I have nothing but good things to say about her. Next time I'll definitely request her before I come in. The salon space was clean and well-lit. The chairs were massage chairs and they're actually decent, better than a lot of salon massage chairs I tried. I was also offered water. The basic pedicure also included quite a bit of different services and that's just basic, and I think it's more than enough. Parking could be challenging because they only have a few spots right outside the salon as the other stalls are reserved for other businesses. Some signs would specify their hours of operation so if I arrive out of those hours I would just park there. Also Sunday street parking is free. Sometimes they would send random texts for 5% off, and also discounts for birthdays. I mean it's not much but better than nothing. Great spot. A gel pedicure w/ an add-on foot massage easily relaxed my aching feet and calmed my busy mind for what felt like too quick of an hour. Pedicures do not include your typical salon package of exfoliating scrubs and the like. But you can ($) add on calluses removal or a (quick) massage to the service. . The classic industrial Ward interior of a high ceiling and open space concept meant - great ventilation! It didn't smell of ammonia or nail polish at all. The salon has some very talented nail artists, but it doesn't matter when the conditions are so unsanitary. My girl used someone else's dirty towel and there was nail dust all over it. I wanted throw up the whole time I was there. Really unfortunate.
