And the "towel" I was referring to was the dry towel they use during the procedure. Ewww learn from your mistakes and feedback, don't make excuses and lies! Disgusting. Now I'm gonna blast them on SM. Fucking refill lol! I do pottery as everyone knows about me. I only do my nails when I'm not in class which just ended. I have receipts. Not even 2 weeks after getting a full set of gel extensions, three nails fell off. I was going to write a reivew about the lack of cleanliness this salon has, but then the nails just started coming off one by one which obviously has only fueled my dissapointment. The salon has some very talented nail artists, but it doesn't matter when the conditions are so unsanitary. My girl used someone else's dirty towel and there was nail dust all over it. I wanted throw up the whole time I was there. Really unfortunate.

I'm absolutely in love with my nails! Lily (one of the owners) truly exceeded my expectations,…read moreevery-time. Been going here for years now and every time I have an appointment I always look forward to it and very excited. From the moment I sat down, she was so warm, professional, and detail-oriented. She took her time to understand exactly what I wanted and executed it flawlessly. The shape is perfect, the ombré blend is so smooth and clean, and the finish is super glossy and elegant. I've gotten so many compliments already! You can really tell she takes pride in her work -- nothing felt rushed, and every detail was carefully done. Not only is her work beautiful, but their new location was super spacious, clean, hygienic, and comfortable, which is so important to me. She's incredibly talented and consistent! If you're looking for a nail tech who delivers high-quality, stunning results every single time -- she's the one. Or any one at this salon I Highly, highly recommend!

It was really easy to make an appointment via text and phone. Initially it was only be for two but…read morethe next morning we added on two more pedicures and they were very accommodating to all the changes! The prices were very reasonable. I paid $75 for my manicure ($25 manicure, $45 gel french tip, $5 nail fix) and my pedicure was $37 for a basic. The new salon is brand new and everything is very clean. Ruby did my pedicure and Alex did my manicure. They were extremely busy while we were there but it seemed like it ran really smoothly. Everyone was pleasant enough but not much talking and it did feel a little rushed at times but also understanding that they were trying to accommodate all 4 of us on short notice. Ruby cut slightly too deep into the side of my left big toe and she apologized but it was very noticeable swollen and painful the next day compared to my other toe so that's not ideal. She was very meticulous with the polish application though! Alex did a great job with my deep french manicure. He was very quick and efficient with putting on an acrylic tip onto my thumb that was shorter than the rest of my nails. He was careful to not have the gel touch my skin and seemed to be the go-to for frenchies. The girl working the front desk didn't seem to be in a good mood. I don't usually mind but she was very short with her responses and not particularly nice or helpful when I asked a few questions regarding the pricing and point system. There is plenty of street parking available and it was easy to find. They're very popular so expect to be a slight wait and it's definitely a more sterile and clinically run salon than a welcoming one. I didn't see anyone with a walk-in so I would always recommend making an appointment!

Unfortunately, today's visit was not a good experience, and there were too many issues to overlook. Before coming in, I texted Tina to book specifically with her and Don at 3:45pm and confirmed pricing at $90 total, $50 for gel manicure and $40 for a basic pedicure. When I arrived around 3:55pm, I was told it would actually be $95 due to a $5 gel removal fee that was never disclosed upfront. That immediately left a bad impression. When I arrived, both Don and Tina were still working on another customer. Don brought me to a pedicure chair and started my service, and I initially appreciated his attention to detail. At the same time, Christy began removing my gel polish. Then two walk-in customers arrived, and Don stopped mid-service on me to attend to them. My appointment was interrupted and handed off. Tina never transitioned to me as expected, and Christy ended up finishing my pedicure. The bigger issue is that my pedicure was incomplete. My toe cuticles were not cleaned and my heels were not scrubbed, both basic steps listed in their service description. I know this because I watched Don perform those exact steps on the new customer next to me after leaving my service. When I raised this, I was told it had already been done and that I must have "fallen asleep," which was not true. That response was frustrating and dismissive. During my manicure, Christy attempted cuticle work but cut my skin multiple times on two fingers to the point of bleeding. I had to wash my hands to remove the blood, and antiseptic was applied afterward. As I write this, my fingers are still throbbing. To be fair, she did shape my nails evenly and the final color turned out beautifully. I also understand her method of curing one or two nails at a time is standard for gel application. However, she repeatedly commented on how "short" my nails are even after I explained that is my preference, which felt unnecessary. After the manicure, there was no hand or arm massage at all, despite their gel manicure including a 3-minute lotion and massage. This was another expected step that was skipped. I do appreciate that they try to accommodate walk-ins and that the staff were working hard. I still left a 20% tip because of that, though in hindsight I do not feel the service warranted it. They also charge an additional 3% for credit card use. Overall, the experience included a price discrepancy, service interruption, incomplete services, painful cuts, and a lack of accountability when concerns were raised. I will not be returning and would caution others before booking.

The mutated nail is managed by monthly pedicure appointments, meaning highly experienced nail techs. The Beauty Bar was the 3rd nail salon I tried out and I haven't had to go anywhere else. I've been coming for the last 3 months and continue to be very happy with the service and results. Not only is my pincer nail always treated and trimmed carefully and expertly, the pedicures are well done and last for over 4 weeks (just using regular polish, not gel). I haven't tried the Japanese gel manicure yet, but I'm waiting for a special occasion to make the splurge. There's only a couple of downsides: 1) the prices are very high and 2) the massages are too soft. For example, I've paid $4 or $5 for callous removal at other salons, but they charge $10 here. Otherwise, I have no other complaints. I love the ease of the online booking system. The salon is clean and has a very chill vibe.
