Attended the last regular season game of the decade: thrilling finish against the 49ers with Marshawn Lynch coming out of retirement. The closest parking structure costs $50 to park! You need to back-in and must leave one hour after the game ends, it takes about 30 minutes to exit the structure. Like many stadiums they feature specialty food venues beyond the standard hot dog, nachos, and Bud Light offerings. There's a Din Tai Fung! Also, poke, pad thai, meat pie, and craft beer. The neighborhood around the stadium isn't too bad and it's within close proximity to a number of bars and restaurants. Come early and visit the Starbucks headquarters nearby. FOOTBALL!!! CenturyLink field was literally a party for Monday Night football. Once you enter the premises you are engrossed in Fanfare and lots of food vendors to choose from. I was in awe! As I walked to Touchdown city I was amazed at the entertainment and the cheering for the Seahawks! Before you enter Touchdown City which is a venue of games, photo ops and entertainment you go through security screening and it was really painless compared to TSA. I didn't know what to do first it felt like I was kid in a box of chocolates savoring each game, Seahawk memorabilia and cheering with Seahawks Fanatics! I actually won a couple of prizes I guess it was beginners luck or was it a blessing in any case I had a blast! But the fun didn't end there as we walked to our seats we got more Seahawks freebies and maneuvered our way through the thousands of people to finally get to our seats. The crowds and the screaming for the Seahawks was epic. There was a lot of drinking of alcohol and some incidents BUT the WIN was worth it. I did get to try one of the food vendors it was the meat pies I ordered the lamb pie but somehow they gave me a chicken one but I was already at my seat and didn't want to walk back down. They had bbq, Pacific Northwest favorites (clam chowder), the standard burgers, hotdogs and pizzas. The lines we crazy so you had to pick what you wanted and wait in the line. I do have my pros and cons, but mostly pros: Pros: Every event I've been to here has well organized staff to help coordinate folks into the correct locations/entrances. You have crew who are using their loud voices to let visitors know where to go depending where you will be sitting/standing. Security is normal like most places. You walk through the metal detector and they'll look inside your bag quickly. There are plenty of food vendors, restaurants, many restrooms, and the sound system is great. The way the stadium is built, definitely makes it loud inside. It's an open stadium, so do bring a rain coat or poncho if you know it will be raining that day. There are also vendors outside the stadium before and after the event. Mostly feed. Try the hotdogs- super yummy! Once out of a major event, there will be cops/patrol on the major intersections to help direct traffic and let pedestrians walk where they need to get to. Cons: Can I just start with the pricing on food and drinks? I know it's a stadium and it's going to be expensive, but prices are ridiculous. I paid $26 for 2 bud lights... 2! Bottled water is $5-8 depending on the brand. I could of bought a couple cases honestly. I didn't buy any food, but those prices were so high. Parking there is like a pre-competition after you battle traffic in the general area. If you buy pre-parking at the stadium, you will be sitting in traffic for quite sometime to get into the garage. I usually bypass that and just park at a lot for half the price. Of course the further you park, the cheaper it is. Multiple lots on 1st. Be prepared to start walking! read more

We went on a very very cold day. 40 degrees, snow and ice on the ground and raining. First, the parking all over the city, anywhere close to the field is $40 and up. Disgusting how much this city takes advantage of the residents by charging them that much money to go out and have fun. It's a burden to have a car in this city. Disgusting.. Once you pay an arm and leg for parking, you have to deal with security telling you, you can't bring in certain bags and items. So now you have to find a booth on the side of the street, in an alleyway that will hold your bag for $20. So, more money getting sucked away from you and you haven't even made it in the damn doors yet. Food is $7 and up. Didn't even look at the drink prices. We watched the game until halftime and we had to leave. Our feet were so numb. We had double socks, double shirts, masks, beanies and gloves and we were still freezing. You know, in a state were it hardly ever stops raining, you would think a dome would be a great idea. We paid $500 for our seats and only got to enjoy an hour of the game before we froze to death. I wish the experience was better but it is what it is. Just wish better for this city to stop being so greedy. read more

The price wasn't that bad and they take you around the whole stadium and provide a lot of interesting facts about the stadium. The stadium itself is huge and we got to see almost everything inside the stadium including the press box area. This review is based solely on the 3rd party reprobates that Lumen field hires for their security, company called Axis Security & Event Staffing. Me and my fiance are in the process of filing a lawsuit against the Seattle Sounders, Lumen field & Axis Security. Me, my fiancé, my brother in law, nephew, brother and sister in law were all attending the June 3rd double header match, we had been looking forward to this for months and before this day, was avid sounders fans! We just bought season tickets & were ready to be ticket holders for life. The June 3rd match was against the Timbers and as any Sounders fans know..there is a huge RIVALRY! We got to our seats, saw other ticket holders that we have become friends with and was ready for a great day. About 20 minutes into the game a female timbers fan, her 14 year old daughter, small son show up. She was standing next to my fiance and my fiance engaged in small talk and said "Timbers fan huh" to where she smiled and said "I sure am" Fine..we had no problems with that. At one point the chatting started taking place with one side of Lumen saying "Seattle" with the other side saying "SOUNDERS".... so of course with all the other sounders sitting in our area, we stated chanting. My fiance who is 6'5 cupped his hands and started to chat, ALONE WITH 42,000 OTHER FANS. He was chatting in her direction, but not at her or towards her. She apprently did like that and started screaming back TIMBERS.........so my fiance along wtih everyone else kept chanting Seattle Sounders. Well this woman didn't like that, and here is where our day went south real quick. She starts saying that my fiance is screaming at her, SPITTING ON HER.....EXCUSE ME. She starts screming at my fiance, then screaming at everyone around her saying "look he's making my son cry, i did't drive 3 hours for this".....I heard her 14 year told daughter say "Mom, stop".... There were many sounders fans and one genetlement said to her "You are making your son cry"....She wasn't getting the response she wanted, so she grabbed her kids and left...WE THOUGHT. We continued to watch the game. About 15 minutes later, this KID who looks like Redfoo from LMFAO comes barding at us, screaming saing to both me nad my fiance "YOU ARE EJECTED, WE HAVE YOU ON TAPE, FOLLOW ME NOW"...we both looked at each other like we were having an out of body experience. This kid by the name of Nico tried to put his hands on my fiance, and my fiance real quick said..DO NOT TOUCH ME. Nico radio's in that we are not adhering to him and they needed further help to eject us. 4 sounders frieends behind us said "This is garbage, we are following you, this is not right, do not give them your name, just follow them, we will go with you" So myself, fiance, brother in law and nephew, all follow this kid to what seems like the depts of hell to the bottom level of Lumen Field. 4 Seattle police officers are waiting for us. They asked for our ID and I said "Absoltly NOT, YOU TELL ME WHAT WE DID WRONG, WHAT ARE THE ACCUSSTIONS.... they just continued to say "We have him on tape and it's been decided that you are to be ejected. We called our local sales rep who was down there with us who said "I have never seen anything like this". So finally, we left.............we weren't going to get anywhere with them, so we left. Fast forward now after weeks of silence from the sounders, I finally was able to talk to Sales & Service director Rachel Ekanger. Explained the situation in detail, thought I was going to get somewhere with her. Well needless to say after weeks of going back and forth, tons of witness statements in our favor, they came back and said " We have reviewed the video, found your fiancé did harass this woman, and you are penalized one game.........WTF........... I am in shock, but tis is far from over. Our rights were violated, we were publicly EMBARRASED, HUMILATEFD, DEGRADED....yelled at like we were children. Lumen field is an iconic NFL stadium, but I didn't get that feel when visiting and getting the behind the scenes tour. The staff and tour are great, but the stadium seemed a little outdated, especially with the seats. They need those things renovated badly. With regards to the tour, they didn't let you step on the field or even go in the locker rooms, which is very underwhelming considering that's a huge highlight of tours. The facility as a whole is still in good shape, but after almost 20 years it is beginning to loose an element of luster and shine. But here is my beef - professional sports is money driven and when you come here expect to pay premium prices for goods and services - how about $13 for a Rainier Tall Boy? I mean, I know you are going to get taken to the cleaners, but my god - prices are through the roof and the quality of food product just isn't that great. Hot dogs are uninspired with limp wet buns and the meat is injected with water to add plump - nasty. Popcorn tastes like it was recycled from week to week and soda prices are ridiculous. Couple this with the Seahawks stinking this year, and it doesn't make for a super enjoyable experience. Good luck! read more

8/26/23 - went to the Ed Sheeran show and sat up in the poor people seats. AMAZING CONCERT. Wish they had some fans ( the air moving kind) to move some air around. It was 10 degrees warmer in the stands than outside the Stadium. Also seemed like the entrance system was silly. They could have had every entrance open to everyone. But no special entrances for floor people. The staff was great and very helpful. Also, some signs saying what's available up top would be great. So you don't worry you're going to get all the way to the top of the stadium and not have food or drinks. read more

We came to Seattle for the Arizona Cardinals vs Seattle Seahawks game. The Cardinals won which is awesome. The stadium itself is ok. Nothing great and not as loud I I thought it was going to be. It's seems old and outdated even for a field that opened in 2002. On one end of the field the seating area is in the shape of a triangle with a tall Jumbotron. It was just odd and kind of useless. My partner and I had a splendid time at a Seahawks games. The staff at the stadium are very friendly and accommodating, we didn't encounter any one grouchy or being a total ass. The booze options are plenty and will tickle and fancy your tastebuds. The bathroom cleanliness was in my opinion a score of about C-. Home of the 12s, the best fans in all of football. I have only attended games from the "nose bleed" seats but even up high you have a pretty good view of the game. Stadium has city and water views and there are plenty of good food options. Be sure to bring lots of cash though as parking close to the stadium will cost you $70 on game day and food/drink is crazy overpriced. First off, I'm a 49er fan and I probably would never go to a Seahawks game, ever. Who in their right minds would pay $150+ per ticket for nose bleeds??? Best experience other than a playoff game for the Warriors at Oracle Arena. The good thing, or maybe not so good for some, is that certain sections do not serve hard alcohol. I wish I knew that a little earlier so I could of had a couple of drinks before going in so I didn't have to drink so much beer. The food there looked extremely good and they have a good selection of beers/wines everywhere. The stadium looks amazing as well. Just walking to the stadium alone you can see how really gorgeous it is. I've seen it on TV several times and I have to admit that being there in person is way better than TV. I'll probably be attending the Timbers/Sounders game to see how loud it can get at almost max capacity. I know it won't be as loud as a Seahawk game, but meh I'm okay with it. read more

Most employees seem happy to be working there and are very helpful. Cons: clear purses required, cashLess 100%, if they do not predict it's going to be a very busy game about half of the food options are available and most are only available on the first concourse. So if you were sitting on the third tier you've got a lot of walking to do to get some food or at least get more food options other than fried bar food. Just like any other stadium everything is extremely overpriced. A bag of cotton candy was $8, a bag of kettle corn was $7, and don't even get me started on the alcohol. read more

Big enough to accommodate the crowds, but still gives you the feeling that you're close to the action on the field, in comfortable seats. Quality audio/visual effects will ensure you're entertained from start to finish. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and selection of food and drink. Everything from dim sum, to fish & chips to some very good pizza, to a full bar and of course the craft beers, you'd expect to find in a city full of them. The staff I encountered was friendly enough. My only recommendation, would be better signage to help navigate the way to the various levels/seating areas. We ended up climbing a lot of stairs only to find a ramp not far away, that would have saved us a serious cardio workout. read more

So, I hate the Seahawks (I'm a Packers fan and there's some bad blood there). Anyway, I came here with my buddy who is a Hawks fan. This rating is not on the team, but the overall stadium experience. We were seated waaaaay up in the Hawks nest (boy, what a stair climb that is). The fans in this area are about as rabid as they come. They were cheering, jeering and screaming at their team. They really get into the act, and really take their job as the "12th man" seriously! It was such a cool experience. Down at ground level, you can get your fill of popcorn, hot dogs (I only found vegan ones .... bleh) and other goodies, treats and drinks (including wine, seltzer and beer to go with fountain drinks). First time ever seeing my favorite team play, and it was in our home stadium! It was pouring rain, but I sat there happy as a clam in my super expensive disposable poncho. The Hawks beat the Raiders that night, and the field was everything I hoped. Loud Fans, Electric atmosphere, exciting explosions, and an outstanding fanbase. I had the 12 Man Value Combo (2 hot dogs, pop corn, water for 12 bucks), a beer, and I was set. Truly was a dream come true. Security however, tried their best to ruin my experience. I have never been to a game before, so I didn't know the rules of clear bags to go through, or that you couldn't bring fanny packs in. They were super rude and condescending. I asked where to leave the line because I had prohibited items, and they basically said "you aren't going in!" -not my question, but thanks. I was forced to walk in embarrassment through a packed line of other fans to buy a $30 locker to store my empty fanny pack. Add a fricken exit line please! When we got in, I see people with giant non see through purses, hydro flasks, and fannypacks. Love it. I was pissed, but decided to enjoy my bucket list day instead. Lesley and Essy were awesome, they were totally down to earth and recognized the huge excitement we had of being there. They took the time to help me as I am in a wheelchair and also made me feel not like a hindrance. Also they answered everyone one of my any questions.lol To say I had alot would again be an understatement. Lol My Wife and 13 yr old daughter did it and again they enjoyed it. For the Taylor Swift concert we sat in section 205 Row A seats 4,5, &6. It was an awesome view, though slightly on the side of the stage. Went for a preseason game and had a good time. Beautiful evening game with very comfortable temperatures. We parked about a mile from the stadium on 6th Street next to the Hilton hotel...cost us only $21 and some change. The walk to and from the stadium was uneventful and pretty much very pleasant...didn't run into any homeless people, or anyone else looking to cause trouble. Food at the stadium is outrageously priced as are the beers. I wasn't really prepared to pay $11.99 for a can of beer...or $5.49 for an .89cent bag of chips...but at least the beer was 24oz. Also, most beverage and food items are not priced and you don't know the prices until you go to pay for them. Also, if you're looking for parking near the stadium, good luck... we saw parking near the stadium priced over $70 for the event. Great venue whether sports (Sounders and Seahawks) or music concerts. Located off of I-5, I-90, 99, and lots of nearby transit options (Metro, Sound Transit, Amtrak, light rail). Venue has lots of dining options in Pioneer Square, International District, SoDo, outside and inside the stadium. Nice stadium checkin and concessions staff. Vast and centerpiece of urban pride. Saw the U2 concert (1st US stop, 2nd stop of 30th anniversary of The Joshua Tree) on 5/14/17. Opening band was Mumford and Sons. Whooped it up and rocked all night for Mother's Day. The Homie took it all in stride as one of his birthday gifts. Yeah, it was a lot of money spent overall, but so worth it. Acoustics were awesome! read more

Seattle's vociferous and zealous legion of fans. At CenturyLink Field, it's all about the fans and NOT the field. The faithful bring a blend of crowd noise, fireworks, high-fives, and standing for every play (at least in my section) all in hopes of another Seahawks ... FIRST down ... or "Touchdown ... Sea...Hawks!!" Seattle Light Rail or Amtrak are the best ways to get to CenturyLink Field. You'll be joined on the ride by train cars full of friendly fans regardless of which team your want to win. You'll walk about 2-3 blocks to the stadium from any of the nearby stations. We opted to eat in the neighboring Chinatown-International District at a local Chinese restaurant before the game, so, we got off at that rail stop. It was probably better food and definitely cheaper beer than what CenturyLink sold us during the game. Inside CenturyLink Field, the stadium is designed to enhance noise ... and it succeeds. I saw several people wearing earplugs and kids adorned with noise-cancelling headphones, so, don't be embarrassed if you're concerned about your hearing ... and plan ahead because the 12th man army is loud and proud. The Professional Women's Seattle OL Reign soccer team play here! Love them at this location! Lots of food options and a very friendly crowd. If you come, remember they have that weird don't bring a purse or only bring a special size clear plastic bag requirement. Beautiful stadium with reputable vendors located on the field level as well as all around the main concourse and upper levels. I had to experience the LOUDNESS cheering for the Amazing Seahawks and it was definitely LOUD!!! Great organization of ppl flow when gates opened and end of game. We got in and out so quick. We parked almost a mile away to avoid traffic and we were glad we did. There are a lot of pubs and restaurants along our walk to and from stadium which made it a nice walk. read more
